Part 1: BBU welterweight title The main event from the latest BBU PPV saw Kelly Brook defend her BBU welterweight title for the first time, challenging her was the Dutch stunner Doutzen Kroes.
Kelly had stunned the BBU world when she defeated Bo Krsmanovic for the title, Bo was rated the pound for pound number one by us and had seemed unbeatable last year, amazing how quickly things can change.
In the opposite corner was Doutzen, a former BBU lightweight champion, she had decided after discussions with her management to move up in weight two years ago, she has quickly risen through the division to contender status.
With both having amazing careers you would think there would be plenty of respect here, as it turned out there wasn't as Kelly called Doutzen second rate, Doutzen questioned why Kelly had gotten a title shot before her, leading to understandably tension before they had gotten into the ring.
The one thing both did seem to respect is the others power, starting off with probing attacks to begin the fight, the clash of styles was on show at this time.
Doutzen is more of a boxer of the two, moving while looking for different angles, Kelly now getting older, plants her feet more to land big punches as she seeks early knock outs.
In the opening few rounds it was a tightly fought affair, Kelly coming out on top more often due to that power, Doutzen was landing some crisp combos though to light up the face of the Page Three legend.
In the fourth Doutzen seemed to have a fire lit under her after being bullied about the round before, coming on strong to back up Kelly with some of her raw power on show.
But one round later and she tasted canvas after a beautiful uppercut, Kelly looked for the kill and only the defensive skills of Kroes kept that from happening.
Maybe a lack of focus or some arrogance, Kelly in the sixth went in hard at Doutzen, problem was she left herself open for a hook across her temple, two to her chin sent Brook to sleepy land, with the welterweight title going to Doutzen.
This was an interesting clash between two opposite styles, Kelly looked great when she closed the gap to work on the inside, Doutzen's skills kept her in the fight till she found that one opening to really throw a haymaker.
I know Kelly will be bitterly disappointed her reign was so short, no defences after winning it in a hard fought clash, this loss will not help with feelings she was lucky to take the title from Krsmanovic.
Doutzen on the other hand now is on top of one of the quickest rising divisions in celebrity boxing, more truly elite fighters are filling the ranks now, how long will Doutzen hold the title?
The one thing that can't be taken away from Kroes is that she is now one of the rare two weight champions in BBU history, Miranda Kerr and Lisa Maffia are the only two that have that one their résumé, making Doutzen a sure future Hall of Famer.

Part 2: Michelle Keegan vs Cheryl Cole Of all the fights on the PPV, this may have easily been the most popular, two of the biggest faces in the BBU going at it in a JMD fight, why wouldn't you be interested in this fight?
Especially that shockingly they have only fought once in over a decade! That ended with Cheryl Cole needing only four rounds to brutally knock out Michelle, since then they have both won multiple titles, while capturing the public's hearts outside the ring.
They say time heals old wound, well these two certainly still didn't like each other, verbally going at it hard before they went hard in the ring.
The first round saw Cheryl take the fight to Michelle, bashing the younger woman back towards the ropes, keeping Keegan on the back foot.
A clash of heads in the second saw Cheryl lose her focus, she was made to pay with a left hook to across her jugs, with signs this was going to be a tough fight on show for both.
The next big moment was in the forth; Cheryl tripped up Michelle, the referee nearly getting clocked by the downed actress, Cheryl took Michelle out of her game and promised to end the fight soon.
That declaration looked spot on when a round later Michelle was sent down by a nasty drive from her rival, she looked badly hurt as she fought to beat the count.
When Cheryl looked to finish the job, Michelle turned the fight into a scruffy wrestling match, big boobs bounced together as they were almost boxing with their breasts.
That dragged Cheryl into murky waters and Michelle's plan worked as she battered back the Geordie, both looked hurt as they entered the late round.
In the eighth round Cheryl suffered a beating that ended with her taking a clean uppercut on her chin, getting sent down for the count.
It was a hard fought fight that was bitterly fought from the opening round to the finish, now they are tied hopefully someday we get a third fight between the two.
This was a hard loss for Cheryl, she looked impressive at the start but didn't have the strength to keep Michelle off her, she has another fight with Jenna Coleman to look forwards too in future.
While Michelle showed she is still a contender, maybe for the BBU JMD title possibly, maybe she can work her way back up to the flyweight title, this should be a confidence booster for her whatever happens.

Part 3: Gemma Atkinson vs Joan Smalls It is always interesting seeing two former champions do battle, it usually means that whoever loses is on the wane and where do they go.
Gemma Atkinson has slumped it has to be said since losing the FCBA welterweight title, she still has the power and skill to be an elite fighter, maybe her focus has been on outside projects then actually fighting.
While Joan Smalls was one of the most dominant champions in the BBU, losing two fights doesn't seem a crisis, she lost to Doutzen Kroes last month and some are wondering if holes are being shown by Doutzen and Bo Krsmanovic.
Ironically both lost to the new BBU welterweight champion Doutzen, meaning a title shot is probably a long way away, this was purely about a fight they have both wanted since Gemma returned to the BBU at the beginning of last year.
While they traded barbs over the past year, plenty of respect was shown as they fought in the first round, Joan just doing enough to win the round with a late surge.
But as the second round show, the battle was going to be close as they fought hard, Gemma looking great on the inside, Joan looking brilliant on the outside.
Gemma came on stronger as the middle rounds came, pushing Joan towards ropes with little nudges and hard power shots, making Joan look furious as she returned to her corner.
Back came Joan in the fifth round with a change of tactics, showing she could box smartly as she started counter boxing, showing some good defensive skills as she let Gemma come at her.
That seemed to be the difference, Gemma got caught hard in the seventh round, sending her gumshield flying as she went tumbling down to the canvas on her face.
The questions of course now begin on the future of Gemma as a title contender now, has she past her sell by date at the elite level?
It shouldn't take away that she gave one of the best BBU fighters in the welterweight division a run for her money, I feel that Gemma can make another run if she buckles down in the gym.
Joan on the other hand has another big name on her record but arguably nowhere to go, Doutzen most likely won't want to give her a title shot since she already dealt with Joan, so all she can do is tick over seemingly till that time comes she can get another title shot.

Final Part: Danielle Sharp vs Arianny Celeste The Page Three stable since the turn of the year has been all about making big statements it seems, India Reynolds has flew out the gates with two impressive wins, while Danielle Sharp wants to make the same impression when you speak to her about her goals this year.
Well she had to face the impressive Arianny Celeste, not just a pretty face for a UFC ring girl, she has been training for boxing for years before she stepped into a BBU ring, where surprisingly is still looking for a win after two fights.
Looking at their records you may disagree that Celeste is a threat to anyone, well the first two rounds against Danielle was a whole sell arse kicking from the American, she pinned Danielle across the ropes, into a corner in the second and just looked supreme through two rounds.
Problem of course is if you don't finish things when you are so dominant, a counter attack is firmly on the menu to come at you.
That's what happened here as Danielle showed why she is so highly thought of, coming through that beating to hammer accurate punches to the liver of Arianny, who groaned out and couldn't find a response as her punching power was disappearing.
Where round one and two was the Americans, round three and four was firmly Sharp's, who sent Celeste down in the fourth with another brutal liver shot, ending the fight moments later with a left hook that sent Arianny down to the canvas out cold!
It was a very shaky start from Danielle, who actually got advice from India before heading into the third round, showing that while they are racing for a title shot, their friendship hasn't taken a hit.
Arianny it looked was close to the upset and finally getting a win, you can argue that she has simply hit on people when they are in great form, like losing to Rhian Sugden when the blonde was beginning her run that sees her a title contender now.
Back to the run for a title shot within the Page Three group, so far I'd give India on performances the nod over Danielle, this fight showed holes in Danielle's game are still there, either one getting a shot wouldn't be a bad thing it has to be said as they'll give the champ a hard time.
That's all we have time folks, thank you so much for taking the time to read these posts, we will be back next Sunday morning, I hope you are all safe and we all wish you the best from the BBU.
