Part 1: Nicky Whelan vs Rita Ora This was the main event from the card yesterday, it was interesting to see Nicky Whelan go from being a coach of her Bronzed Oz stable for one day, taking on the always hard to read Rita Ora.
Nicky has been busy training her stablemates the past few years, we found out that Rita's agent wanted to give their fighter a tune up, Nicky accepting as she saw it a chance to show she isn't done being a fighter herself.
As said with Rita she is frustrating to guess what version will turn up, on her best days like when she beat Una Healy, she looks an absolute gem of a fighter, other days she gets caught way too easily.
When this fight kicked off on the beach, Nicky showed her skills with impressive looking footwork, dancing through the sand easily as she bashed Rita to her cheeks to keep the smaller woman at range.
After that though Rita started to take control, using feints and shoulder rolls allowed her to get in closer, targeting the body of Whelan to wear down the Aussie.
Who kept trying to force the issue, but in the third round Nicky got sent down with an uppercut, that didn't stop her, that came in the fourth round when a pounding hook sent Nicky down for the count.
Nicky had to be stretchered out the ring as she was knocked clean out, her coach for the night looked guilty, hard not to disagree as Nicky didn't seem to have a chance to comeback at Rita.
While Rita it has to be said was clinical, she did what she had to do and looked strong, though the level of opposition needs to be taken into account.
It will be interesting to see where Rita goes, she was watching the Fleur East and Azealia Banks fight at the PPV last, she also called out the Aussie fighters, so maybe she is trying to throw a net over possible opponents to keep busy.

Part 2: Alexina Graham vs Martha Hunt Two stunning Victoria Secret models doing battle, would it be the undefeated Alexina Graham or Martha Hunt that came out on top on the beach?
Going into the fight it has to be said that Alexina was the favourite, even though Martha had the more experience and they were very similar in builds and age.
At the opening bell it looked it was going to be a close fight, both having a stinging jab to keep the action at range, when they did get to the inside it was scruffy as they tried to push each other back.
Martha took the next round as she showed Alexina why she isn't a push over, pressing the redhead onto the ropes, body punching exchanges saw them groaning out.
Back came Alexina as she begun to out box Martha, her hand speed on show as they threw flurries at their rival, Alexina found different angles to give the American a headache.
Going into the fifth round, Martha got rocked by a right to her temple, she got pounded till down when Hunt for the count, Alexina improving her record to three wins and no defeats.
It was a good learning fight for Graham, she didn't have it that easy as Martha is physically strong, she finished in style to show what potential she has.
Only issue I had is Alexina seems to want a big name fight next, she still needs some more experience before then, at least two more fighters like Martha should help her out.
While with Martha, as Alexina says she hasn't fulfilled the potential she has, Martha is built great and has boxing experience before she came into the pro ranks, only two wins in seven fights isn't good enough.

Part 3: Jessica Wright vs Christine McGuiness This was under JMDD rules, a battle between Essex and Blackpool, with Jessica hoping to improve on her record of one win in three, compared to Christine's unbeaten one win.
The build up saw both women trading insults as there wasn't much love lost, Jessica was sure she could return after three years out the ring, Christine sure she could crush her.
The opening round saw Jessica show a little of what she can do, pushing back McGuiness near the ropes as neither held back, it was like dodgem cars bumping into each other.
After that it is all Christine once she switched up her punches, targeting the body of Wright, who couldn't take it well it seemed as she was gasping out.
The third round came and liver punches set up the finish, Jessica got send down to her knees and the count reached ten, before the humiliation begun for her.
It was a clinical win for Christine, though getting more rounds in for the physically fit beauty, she has the tools to be a top JMDD fighter but how will she do under pressure when it comes?
While Jessica needs to work on her fitness, I don't know how much notice she had for this fight but while she showed some strength early on, her stamina wasn't there to really test her opponent.

Final Part: One to watch - Ewelina Lisowska Over the last twelve months one fighter who has stormed into peoples recognition in the ring has been Ewelina Lisowska, her brand is growing world wide for her music and in the ring she has been something special.
It has to be said that before Ewelina had her first pro fight in celebrity boxing, she has shown through her Instagram her kick boxing skills, so converting to pure boxing has been an easy transition for her.
Her debut was back in September against respected German fighter Jeanette Biedermann, she ended a competitive fight by knocking out Jeanette in the sixth round.
After that she had a grudge fight with Sandy Moelling, who is best friends with Jeanette, the result was much more comfortable for the Polish fighter, knocking out Sandy in just four rounds.
The biggest fight of her career arguably was at the Boxing day PPV, Ewelina and Cher Lloyd for months had been trading insults, the birth of a rivalry that saw the referee stop the fight in the sixth when Ewelina battered Cher onto the ropes.
The five foot one spitfire has now signed to the legendary Lioness Club, joining the ranks of Cheryl Cole and the first ever BBU hall of famer Jessica Schwarz, plenty of experienced fighters for her to learn from.
Unbeaten after six fights, still little too early to be a title contender, but with this ascent and the backing of her stable, she could be a future star of the BBU.
That's all we have time for folks, thank you for taking the time to read these posts, we hope you enjoyed them and we will be back next Sunday, remember to stay safe guys and gals.
