Part 1: Alice Eve vs Lacey Turner The final bout in the Contenders Six tournament saw Alice and Lacey settle a grudge, Lacey stepped into the ring with a bit of a chip on her shoulder.
See Alice had claimed the tournament title with an undefeated run through it, Lacey had a shout if she could have beaten Rose Byrne the round of fights before, the loss though for Lacey had fired her up going into this fight, with her claiming she was going to make sure Alice didn't go unbeaten through the tournament.
The opening round saw Lacey fly out the gates, she really pushed back Alice around the outside of the ring, the soap star with a point to prove wanted to make sure that Eve knew who she was.
While Alice came back with her crisp jab in the second of the round, one round later though Alice went down to her side off a left hook after she had been backed up by an uppercut before that.
The strength of Lacey was making the difference through the middle rounds of the fight, she isn't the biggest bantamweight but when she gets inside she can be vicious to anyone.
But Lacey couldn't finish the job as Alice showed her toughness and her defensive skills kept her in the fight, with frustration showing on the face of Turner.
Who got caught in the seventh round with a left hook across her nose, blood run from it as Alice kept targeting it, hurting Lacey enough that in the eighth the brunette quit, her nose causing her that much pain.
Some will question Lacey's toughness but her nose was flowing badly, luckily she didn't break it, it clearly was bad though and she will hopefully be back in good shape for her next fight, not worrying about her nose.
Alice meanwhile went eight rounds and yes she proved her toughness, she would have hoped to not as she has the title fight this Wednesday, will she be able to turn around in time to win the title?
It'll be interesting to see if these two fight again, Lacey was unlucky she didn't win, Alice though proved she is back at the top of her game right now.

Part 2: Maya Jama vs Samaria Regalado This was one of the most interesting fights going into the card, both women had the same record in the tournament of just one win, they are built similar and box in a similar style, Maya was the favourite due to her extra experience, it was close though to call.
Stepping out their corners with one goal in mind, it was a closely fought affair in the opening minute, jabs drilling into the others cheeks, up on their toes as their lanky builds were perfectly on show.
Maya landed the first clean hook to knock back Samaria, she pressed back Regalado with that hook giving her the confidence to push on, making it hard for the American to fight back.
Coming into round two, Samaria showed she wasn't going to be that easily bullied, catching Jama across the face with a left cross, pinning her back behind her gloves.
The third was an evenly fought round, both had some great moments, as you expected though it was tricky for both to land that big hook or uppercut cleanly without getting caught coming inside, it didn't stop either trying their luck.
One mistake was what finished the fight, Maya came in with her right glove too low, Samaria sidestepped and pounded a beautiful left hook on the button, Maya was knocked clean out to the canvas.
It was a very impressive finish for Samaria, who came into this tournament with no pro record, for her to come out with two wins has been impressive, still things to learn but she has the reputation now that will hopefully help her get more fights.
While Maya has suffered it has to be said, maybe jumped the gun on stepping up in level, she is a good fighter but she has left herself too open at times, going back to basics and working her way back up should help her improve hopefully.

Part 3: Rose Byrne vs Lottie Moss Two fighters at opposite ends of their career, Rose has been the comeback kid to some in the tournament, turning forty this year and looking impressive over some top fighters.
Lottie on the other hand is only twenty two, while this tournament hasn't been great to say the least for her, only one win going into this fight during the tournament, she has shown potential hence why she got into the tournament.
There was plenty of respect between the fighters, touching gloves and looking relaxed around each other before the opening bell, of course once that bell rung that demeanor changed to a serious one.
This was the classic battle of speed versus power, Lottie kicked off the fight quickly drilling in punches before darting back out to range, controlling the opening round action.
The next round though saw Rose catch Lottie with a left hook, using her power with her reach over Lottie to back her off to the outside of the ring, using her experience to push back Moss.
It was a good back and forth between them, Lottie looked crisp with her punching, kept switching up her movement to try to make it hard for Byrne to read her.
Round six the end came after the opening minute, Rose timed her attack as she let Lottie come at her, an uppercut opened the model up to another two hooks that sent Moss to the canvas, getting counted out on all fours.
Another win on the board for Rose, she has shown that she still has the skills to be dangerous in the division, will she stay fighting or go back to helping train her younger stablemates.
Lottie meanwhile like Samaria and Maya has a lot to offer going forwards, she might be the quickest in the division and she will out more as she grows up, so don't write off Lottie becoming a champion someday, she just needs to get her head down to work on her issues.

Final Part: A fight to remember: BBU vs ACB "The Ashes": Cheryl Cole vs Dannii Minogue 1 Over the years in the BBU we have some truly amazing feuds, the one that maybe the most personal was Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue, if you are too young to remember, both women fell out on the X factor, with the newspapers fanning the flames of war.
The background to this fight saw the first ever Ashes card take place in the BBU, like the cricket Ashes Australia and England would put their best together in the ring to see who would come out on top.
While not the main event, Cheryl and Dannii was the biggest fight people wanted to see on the card, finally see which of these two women would come out on top when they fought.
Dannii had been a champion in Australia, while Cheryl this brash youngster, at this point in the event both countries were tied, so plenty of more pressure was on them.
The fight itself was a shocking one round mauling, Dannii came out the blocks with more focus then I think she did before or since then, Cheryl made one mistake as she missed a straight, eating a hook right under her ribs.
Ask any boxers what one of the worst punches you can take is, Cheryl suffered as she was winded, three times she went down in the round, kept pushing her way up to her feet, before that final time Dannii finished the job with a brutal right hook, Cole was out cold as she hit the canvas.
You may ask why a one round fight is so important to BBU history, well that same night the Aussies would go on to win the Ashes for the first time, Dannii reminded the boxing world why she was a legend, while it was a wake up call for Cheryl, who now is a legend in her own right.
They fought two more times after at Ashes cards, Cheryl can't get a win over Dannii yet, the Aussie Hall of Famer might go down as the greatest flyweight to have graced these shores, though I am sure Cheryl would disagree.
I recommend looking up the Ashes cards over the BBU's history, they have become a stable of the BBU and are always exciting cards full of drama.
That's all we have time for folks this week, I hope you enjoyed these posts, thank you for taking the time to read these posts, hopefully we will see you next Sunday for the next edition, the main thing is we hope you stay safe.
