Part 1: Alessandra Ambrosio vs Stella Maxwell We kicked off the week with these two stunning models fighting it out, Alessandra on her way to retirement still wants to show off her skills, while Stella still needs a major win to move her career in the ring forwards, so this was very important for both women.
Going into the fight Alessandra told our BBU reporters that she is sick of how she ended last year on a losing streak, this was all about leaving the celebrity boxing world on a positive note.
For Stella this was about proving she belonged in the elite bracket, telling Anna Woolhouse how she was going to knock out Alessandra to prove that fact, with a record of only three wins in eight she was firmly the underdog in the fight.
The fight kicked off with both women showing the other respect, Stella not particularly happy at the end of the opener because she was beaten back when Alessandra turned up the tempo, that fire caused her to come out strong in the second to even things out.
It was an interesting back and forth style clash, Alessandra showing off some of her boxing skills to go alongside her power punches, Stella's speed over Alessandra allowed her to land some beautiful counters to make the Hall of Famer think about her attacks.
In the sixth we got the first major incident, Alessandra got too aggressive that led to her eating an uppercut that was soon followed by a left/right hook combo that sent her down to the canvas, Alessandra beat the count, having to hold Stella to stop the Brit from smashing through her to victory.
That led into the next round with Stella now buzzing looking for the finish, instead it was two hard hooks flush on her chin that ended her night looking like a drunken sailor as she tried to beat the count but stumbled to her bum.
This was a great fight between them, too bad we probably won't see a rematch as in some ways Stella earned it with her best performance in a while, the potential is there she seems to be lacking the support base though to find the next step in her skill set to become a winner.
For Alessandra this was a big morale booster after how last year went for her, in April we say goodbye to her in the ring, till then I guess we need to take pleasure in every fight we get to see her in, we have heard stories she has a PPV ready for this month too in the BBU, guess we wait for that announcement along with other fights soon.

Part 2: Kelly Gale vs Tanya Mityushina Another Girls Friday fighter but unlike Alessandra, Kelly is trying to make a name for herself, in her way this time was the tough Russian youngster who burst onto the scene last year with an impressive debut victory over Jessica Clements.
This fight took place in Kelly's home country of Sweden, though she is spending a lot of her time in Hawaii now I have been told by a friend, it still meant a lot to her to fight in front of her home fans and in front of family.
For Tanya she didn't give a damn about where she fought, all that interested her was coming to stomp out Kelly in the ring and cause another upset, that brashness is what has people excited about her.
As they stepped into the ring you could see the tenseness between them, Tanya wanting to show Kelly that she didn't care about the crowd, all she wanted was the win as they squared up.
The opening round saw Kelly start off quickly, it was Tanya who won the round as she landed a hard left hook that allowed her to crowd Kelly to the ropes, targeting the body of the crowd favourite to take some of their zeal.
Kelly showed what she can do in the next round with her combination punching, if you give her time her hand speed can be fearsome, Tanya looked annoyed by the end of the second as she stomped back to her corner.
After that Mityushina used her motivation to close the gap on Kelly, it become a rough affair as shoves were exchanged in close, Tanya kept putting her head under the chin of Gale to make it more a street fight then a boxing match.
When it looked like Tanya was going to run through Kelly, she ended up getting caught with a left hook ironically from the Swede, which opened up Mityushina to several rapid fire punches, blood started to run from the nose of Tanya to rile her up.
That caused Tanya to open up a little too much in round six, she stormed out her corner missing with a wild right hook, a one-two combo to bloody nose hurt Tanya, the uppercut sent the Russian onto her back for the count.
Kelly didn't show her much respect after that, neither woman will be praising each other in future I can safely say, it was a good clash and when Tanya gets more experience, I'd love to see these two step back into the ring together.
You have to give Tanya credit as she pushed the more experienced fighter, for her fourth fight she did well, if she gets the backing of a manager or gets an agent who gets her more fights, there's a confidence and talent there that if honed could lead to a top fighter.
For Kelly where she is waiting for when Alessandra retires it seems to really get her way out her shadow, at twenty five she still has a lot of boxing ahead, can she fulfil her potential and become a champion or flame out like her old stablemate Sara Sampaio?

Part 3: Jennifer Hawkins vs Brooks Nader The main event of the card from down under that took place last night saw these two stunning models shape up for war, Jennifer wanting to defend her home turf from the American invader.
While Jennifer's record isn't much to write about on paper, she is a dangerous floater around the ACB seen, one that you take lightly she will spark you out with you asking what went wrong.
Across the ring from her was Brooks Nader, who has started off great in her first two fights, this was her first step up in class to what most would see as a journey woman, already she was talking about a bigger fight in Krystal Forscutt, would that lead to a fall from grace here?
This fight took place on Bondi Beach with both women having beach boxing experience, it was Brooks who kicked off the fight the stronger, taking a few jabs before she pounded Jennifer with some stunning cross punches.
The first big talking point arguably came in the third round, Nader looked relaxed after controlling the opening rounds, a left burst her nose open though and suddenly the American dream looked like it might be about to end on the beach, Brooks finding herself being beaten back by the power of Hawkins.
Who couldn't take advantage of her success in the forth, walking into several big shots that saw her go down, Jennifer beat the count at eight, she walked into more punishment till an uppercut ended her night on her bum looking glassy eyed wondering what happened as she was counted out.
This was an impressive win but showed Brooks needs to learn to keep her focus, if she walks into trouble like that against Krystal then you can kiss her undefeated record goodbye, Krystal is too ruthless to not take advantage.
For Jennifer well it was a bit of a humbling experience I bet for her, this was up there with her worst performances ever, she couldn't handle the raw power of Brooks, she still is a solid fighter but you wouldn't put it past her having a repeat performance like this sadly for someone who could have done more with her talent if she had been able to get more chances, sadly she is one of those fighters we will never know if they were elite or never were going to be.

Final Part: Leah Perkins vs Sylvie Meis On the undercard to Hawkins versus Nader was this flyweight clash on the beach, Leah Perkins has shown glimpses of talent that looks like she has something in her first four fights, losing once, Sylvie is a legend in some circles and a great talent, that might be on the decline.
So it seemed smart match making when Kylie Minogue; who manages the Bondi Babe's stable was looking for new blood, reportedly she arranged this fight to scout Leah for her flyweight corps.
For Sylvie she is known as willing to fight anyone at any venue, so it was no shock that she packed her best bikini to come have a go at the bright young star, showing no malice to the youngster, just not willing to go down and be a stepping stone to her.
While it was up to Leah to prove her value, it was actually Sylvie who struck hard and fast to start, maybe it was nerves as Perkins wasn't her usual fluid self in the opening round, rushing her attacks left her open to the counter strikes of the veteran.
Things did not get any better through the second and third, in fact Leah was sent down to her back with a hard left cross that must have had Kylie wondering what she bothered to come for, gamely Perkins was up at eight to fight on.
The tables turned in round four, Sylvie started to get caught on the inside with thudding body shots, her rhythm was out of sync as Leah begun to rip the fight out of her, the stunning sight of both these petite fighters toned bodies clashing in clinches was a sight to behold, even more impressive was Leah showing her strength in them by powering Meis onto the ropes.
After getting a cut on the bridge of her nose, Sylvie couldn't take much of the heat being sent her way, first sent down at the beginning of the sixth round, while she also gamely got up to have at Leah, it was the local hero who ended things just under a minute later with a pounding of the blonde till she collapsed out like a light on her front in the sand.
Seeing Leah with her foot on the back of Sylvie was a hell of a sight, but you wonder how good she can be, she has talent in spades it seems, just wonder whether mentally she could get undone as she moves up the levels, those first three rounds were terrible for her as Sylvie showed her class over the young woman.
Sylvie meanwhile has another clash lined up against Lara Bingle, can Sylvie roll back the clock in that fight, she can in my eyes as it depends how Lara comes into the fight, it should be a fun clash on the beach between those two.
Before we finish though we have to talk about Leah and the Bondi Babe's stable, we haven't had any reports yet from the stable, if they do decide to sign Leah and her sister Mimi, then I think it's a good investment for the future, whether they will be elite signings depends on how they are both brought through the rankings, Leah at least has a good shot of being an ACB champion for them if she continues to grow.
That's all we have time for folks, thank you so much for taking the time to read these posts, we hope you had fun with them, we will be back next Sunday morning for the next edition of the Real View.
