Another set of rankings and Alice Eve for the third time in a row, while she doesn't hold a title, the fact that over the last twelve months she has been the most active fighter in the BBU and for the most part one of the most successful in that time with a bantamweight title win to her name to go along with a tournament win in the Contender Six series, she will need to keep fighting at such a high level to keep at the top as other fighters are right behind her.
The current title holders of course are giving chase, Tamara Ecclestone is leading the chase currently with her wins over Kate Upton, though if Charlotte Church can get more fights (considering she holds two titles I suspect she will) then she could very easily reach the top over the next year, while Damaris Lewis is splitting her time with the FCBA as well, so keep an eye firmly on the champions to either make headway or to be knocked aside for someone coming through in their division.
In terms of title challengers this year Ewelina Lisowska for us leads that charge in the flyweights, moving up two spots in our rankings, while Hailey Clauson is quietly moving back into the spotlight again, maybe she will either get a title shot in the welterweight division or the JMDD division, it will depend on how she kicks off this year.
The big losers are Catalina Otalvaro lost out on the fact she hasn't fought since her title defeat, Doutzen Kroes has quietly dropped out the rankings as she seems to have refocused herself in the FCBA, don't rule her out returning to the BBU, while the BBU lightweight champion Miranda Kerr continues to just be outside the rankings, with a few wins she will be back in them, the level she fights at you should expect her to be back up here soon enough.
That's the rankings; of course if anyone has any issues with the placings, thinks I have missed someone out or simply wants to argue their case to be in the top ten, I am always happy to listen to criticism, comment below on their opinions, the next set of rankings will be up in May.
