Part 1: BBU flyweight title fight The latest PPV main event saw Ewelina Lisowska try to claim the BBU flyweight title, trying to hold onto the belt was Zara Holland, making in rapid fire succession her second defence of the belt in a month.
On the challengers side you had the undefeated Ewelina Lisowska, winning all ten of her fights going into this bout, Ewelina has a kick boxing training background that has seen her easily develop into a top boxer for the Lioness Club stable.
In the champions corner, Zara has dominated the division since moving down into the flyweights after actually losing her debut up at bantamweight, after beating Diana Korkunova to finish last year, she battered Michelle Keegan only a few short weeks ago in her first title defence.
The opening round was a showcase of what Ewelina brings to the BBU, with her impressive footwork matched by her pinpoint punching when she has a rhythm, it has to be said Zara looked surprisingly tense, which allowed the challenger the freedom to work.
The next round did see Zara come back at Ewelina strong, but it looked like we might shockingly have a early night as Zara was put down in the third by a hard left hook that landed flush, the champion was up at seven with a look of bewilderment at what had happened.
Ewelina maybe showing too much excitement or inexperience in this level of fight was rushing in the fourth, Zara showing off her class with some good defence to make the singer waste energy, while chopping in some hard digs of her own in reply.
It seemed like things had settled down as Zara started to push the pace more on her side, again things took a shocking turn in the sixth! Zara knocked down a second time as even her most hardened of supporters must have thought that was it for her.
Never count out Holland! When Lisowska looked on the verge of claiming the title, Zara's raw power shone through as she connected hard with two nasty hooks that sent the challenger to her back, Ewelina laid there not moving till well after the count of ten.
Against Michelle Keegan some would argue Zara found that fight too easy, nobody can say that about this contest, Zara was pushed hard but she showed her willpower to go along with one of the hardest punches in the division, she also has to be in the running now for the pound for pound crown with these two results back to back.
For Ewelina no matter how much praise I can give her performance, I can only imagine the pain she must still be feeling after being so close to the title, twice she had Zara down, yet couldn't land the finishing blow to become the champion, I still think she will be a champion someday, as long as she doesn't let this defeat stick long in her memory.

Part 2: Alessandra Ambrosio vs Yvonne Strahovski As we come near the end of an era with Alessandra Ambrosio hanging the gloves up, it was clear talking to her that she had one major goal in mind before then, that was evening the score with arch rival Yvonne Strahovski.
Both women have battled across the world in their three fights, Yvonne holding the advantage at two wins to Alessandra's one, the Brazilian icon wanted to settle it once and for all on her road out the sport, telling us all that she would make Yvonne respect her.
Yvonne meanwhile didn't seem too impressed that she had to come back to the BBU to battle Alessandra, not making friends with our fan base, she was keen to hammer home that she is the better fighter, telling the world that Ambrosio will never hold a candle to her skills.
Meeting up in the ring you could feel the hatred between them, with the opening exchanges being simply a slugfest, heads grinded when they got in close, neither really worked behind a jab as they just went at it in round one.
After that when things settled down, Yvonne started to box more as we usually see her do, making Alessandra look a little silly by laying traps for her to fall into, the model was too open as she was trying to land a big hook to end things early.
The Girls Friday coach Gisele Bundchen spoke stern to Alessandra, telling her to think about what she was doing, that led to a rejuvenated looked Ambrosio, who was shocking Strahovski with feints and her own piston like jab, which led to the first knockdown of the fight as Yvonne kissed the canvas in round five.
Trying to end things though only got Alessandra some misery, while she started the sixth round strong, Yvonne would come back hard to cause Alessandra to back up, especially as she targeted the body of Ambrosio.
Which would lead to her downfall, a liver shot had Alessandra gasping as she fell to her knees, on all fours Alessandra would finally be counted out with this rivalry finishing with Yvonne on top in a somewhat sad moment for Alessandra.
It looked like Yvonne wanted to make sure Alessandra knew that fact, shockingly Alessandra's stablemate Kelly Gale rushed out to stop her, nearly leading to some trouble between them, the bigger news come moments after as Kelly made it clear she wanted to fight Alessandra in Ambrosio's last BBU match before she headed to the FCBA for her final bout, Alessandra accepted the challenge with a smile.
Let's not forget who won this fight, Yvonne showed why she is a legend in the celebrity game with this performance, coming back from going down to taking out a dangerous rival in the end.
The interesting thing going forwards is how will Kelly and Alessandra be going into their clash, also does Kelly want a crack at Yvonne sometime down the road? This fight threw up more questions surprisingly then answers.

Part 3: Elodie Yung vs Sophia Thomalla This fight may have went under the radar a little with some of the other big names on the card and the title fight, this one may have had the most intrigue as it pitted two undefeated fighters against each other to decide who'd move closer to a title shot, the other needing to rebuild a little.
Neither exactly seems to care for the other either, with both making claims that they would knock the other out in let's say more aggressive terms then that, making me excited for what was going to be a humdinger of a clash.
Out the gates Elodie looked the faster fighter, her jabs were giving Sophia problems, with the French fighter looking light of her feet as she outboxed her German foe in a strong start to the fight.
Things started to go pear shaped for Yung soon after, when Thomalla finally closed the gap between them, the German fighter was able to bury in some hard hooks that were definitely giving Elodie trouble, she couldn't seem to match the power of her opponent.
By round four Elodie was clearly hurting, her footwork was becoming more messy as Sophia simply walked her down, this was the most pressure Elodie had through her career, she was failing the test badly as a three punch combo sent her to her back, getting up at eight was just the start of the end, with Sophia landing another uppercut soon after to turn off Yung's lights in devastating style.
It may be a little too early to put Sophia in the title fight now but she is well on her way to earning one, it was a shaky start for her as she tried to work out the movement of her opponent, by the second round it was one way travel for the Black Eagle boxing fighter.
For Elodie this was a massive defeat for her, not just losing to a contender, that she could come back quickly from, it was the manner of the defeat that is going to stick with her going forwards for now, Elodie is good enough I believe to repair the damage, it won't be a quick fix though.

Final Part: Nicole Harrison vs Clara Alonso These two really don't like each other to say the least, all stemming from stable manager decisions that saw Clara booted out the Sirens stable, to be replaced by Nicole, maybe to prove they made the right decision or to give their old fighter a spotlight, management decided to put them into a ring together.
As you'd expect Clara was all guns blazing in the build up, not giving a single positive word about the Sirens, while tearing Nicole down verbally as a mistake when they had in her view the better fighter.
Nicole for her part made it clear she hadn't politicked her way into a contract, that all the blame for Clara going was to her bosses, at the same time Nicole made it clear she was happy enough to show Clara who really is the upgrade in this feud.
At the bell Alonso came roaring out her corner, pressing back the more muscular fighting with pure work rate, Nicole was a little shell shocked judging how she was stuck on the back foot trying to land something of note.
In the second round Nicole started to box well, timing her aggressive opponent coming in with straight punches into her stunning face, Clara would get in a few good digs, the round was firmly the Spanish woman's.
Then a surprising turn as Clara clocked down Nicole late in the third, the Sirens corner looked worried, maybe having a few doubts on who they had in their stable and who they cut at that moment, Nicole getting up at seven looking ready to go again.
While Clara would hope for that same success, it didn't come again for the remainder of the fight, Nicole was crashing in some brutal punches when Clara left herself too open, getting cut by the end of the fourth round.
Alonso would then find herself on the deck twice in the fifth, maybe her corner should have threw in the towel seeing her up at nine, instead they had to watch as Harrison proved to be the alpha in this bout by knocking her spark out at her feet to the delight of the Siren's, a few brows got wiped in that corner by the end of the bout.
This was a great learning curve for Nicole, who looks to have the power to be a force in the division, the question is can she improve on her fundamentals as they are good, as this fight showed they need to be crisper when she meets someone who is going to be fighting with her nearly chest to chest.
Clara meanwhile will be hurting worse then any other defeat she has had I bet, to have a chance to crush the person who replaced you isn't something that happens often, she wasn't able to do it, though maybe it isn't the last time these two meet or at least a Siren girl and Clara in the ring or a beach.
That's all we have time for folks, thank you so much to everyone who took the time to read these posts, we hope you enjoyed them, we will be back next Sunday morning for the next edition of the Real View.
