Part 1: Sophie Monk vs Tahan Lew-Fatt So I can't remember seeing a boxing match in the paddock of a motor racing event, this was definitely a first for me to watch as Sophie Monk gave Tahan Lew-Fatt her debut at the latest V8 Supercars race in Australia.
Now normally we don't get to see how good a fighter is, Tahan is different as she has done amateur boxing after her stint on the Australian Big Brother, here's a clip of her fight on YouTube:
That was in 2018, the big question of course is has she improved from then will constant training? This was a six round clash as agree upon by both women, who didn't seem so friendly when they met.
Like in the video it is clear Tahan likes to box on the back foot, she was a little subdued in the opener, showing good mobility to not allow Sophie to run right through her, with the best punch being a right into her stomach to push Lew-Fatt back a step.
Maybe it was nerves for Tahan as in the second she came out hard, knocking back Sophie with some beautiful precision punches, the veteran struggled to really embrace the heat as she was pushed back.
Monk's coach Nicky Whelan was upset with her effort but the problem was she couldn't keep up with the brunette, Tahan was too mobile and it seemed too strong in the tighter fought exchanges.
Sophie did start to work harder in the last few rounds but as the scorecards showed Tahan deserved her win, I think if it went ten rounds Tahan might have stopped Sophie as she was outworking the blonde enough to hurt her each round.
The ACB seems to be getting some good younger talent coming through with the Perkins and Herbert sisters, it's great to see a new generation coming through the Australian system which has had legends like of course Dannii Minogue and Miranda Kerr.
Tahan looks to have good fundamentals, maybe needs work on her power but with her speed it will be hard for opponents to pin her down to bully her, I'll wait for a few more fights before going all in on her being an elite fighter.
For Sophie she has the star power to get fights, she needs to work harder in the ring as this looked a lazy effort from her, we are sure she will be happy to keep getting money fights.

Part 2: Alina Vacariu vs Elisabetta Gregoraci This was a rare catchweight fight in the BBU, two tough women clashing as Elisabetta stepped up a little in weight to take on Alina at 135lbs, the fact both are stunning also helps sell this fight.
Going into this contest both have their eyes on Elsa Benitez, hoping to have a big money fight with the Mexican model, who to add to the intrigue was at ringside for this fight, both women gave her a quick glance as they walked to the ring.
When the bell rung though all the focus was on their opponent, both swung in hard shots right away, with Alina taking the first round by just enough with a good mixture of attacks to keep the Italian fighter at bay.
But Elisabetta showed that impressive punching power through the next few rounds, for being her first time just above the lightweight limit, she looked strong in the clinches and inside fighting with the naturally bigger woman.
The fifth round saw the start of the comeback from the Romanian beauty, Alina started to plug more heat of her own to the body of Gregoraci, getting Elisabetta to back off in exchanges more as the fight went on.
Till finally in the seventh Alina nearly ended it as she battered Elisabetta down to her knees, the bell had saved Elisabetta that time; in the eighth round it didn't, Elisabetta ate a left hook to the side of her head to send her down for the count.
Afterwards as you can expect Elsa entered the ring to face the winner, it was a hell of a sight seeing Elsa and Alina nose to nose, hands on hips as they stared off, that should be a cracking fight as Elsa loves to come on the front foot.
Back to this fight a moment which was an absolute cracker, Alina still has a little learning to do in the ring but she stood up well to Elisabetta's hard hits and come back to win, that is elite toughness in my eyes, while Elisabetta shouldn't feel top down by this defeat, she will come back stronger I am sure.

Part 3: Inna vs Heidi Range These two have always been around the title picture without really actually been in it, I know that sounds dumb but career wise they both have good records, have some good wins on their résumés, just whatever reason neither has turned that into a title on the mantelpiece to fulfil their potential, now both felt a win over the other would get them closer to the promised land.
It should be said also that clearly neither cares for the other judging by prefight comments, plenty of the word bytch was thrown around by them as they were asked about the bout by the media, the tension clear as they stepped into the ring to get it on.
At the opening bell it was a wild start, both going toe to toe in the early moments of the round, till Heidi caught Inna flush with a right hook to the left side of her head, stuffing back the Romanian to her heels as on she came.
The second round followed a similar pattern of Inna looking for a firefight, Heidi beating her back with more precision, throw in better movement from the former "Sugababe" and it looked like it could be a long night for Inna.
But things started to turn around as Inna went more to the body, the crowd were loving this exciting clash as neither held much back, they especially loved their girl Inna pushing Heidi around with raw power.
Soon Heidi couldn't take the heat coming her way as she tired out, going down in the sixth after a hard body shot, as Heidi got up at seven, she was immediately swarmed by Inna, who put her down for the count with a shot to the solar plexus, that took the wind out her sails.
We'll start with Heidi who looked good at first but she couldn't keep up with the intensity of Inna, the end result looked bad, Heidi still remains a big star in the ring and has the skills to ruin any prospects night, sadly for title opportunities I think they are done for her.
Inna meanwhile has to be right in the title hunt again and strongly close to the front of the line, she has some business to take care of first it seems as we will get to in our next part of the show.

Final Part: Elena Gheorghe vs Perrie Edwards Coming into this one both women had lost their last fights, most pundits agreed that Elena is the better prospect as Perrie for all her singing talents can't get a number one hit in the ring it seems.
So when they met up in the ring this was all business for both women, not much said prefight just as soon as the bell rung they got down to it with Perrie actually starting off well in the opening round with a quick flurry of jabs.
After that Elena took charge by slugging Perrie back, the Romanian star showing her impressive cardio to outwork Perrie in the exchanges, bashing the Geordie lass onto her heels with two to three punches at a time flying in.
Gamely Perrie tried to match her but was getting swamped under punches, her nose was bleeding badly by the fourth, with a right hook on it sending Perrie down to her knees, she got up and was beaten badly by Elena, enough for Perrie's coach Myleene Klass throwing in the towel.
It should be said that Elena kept on throwing punches after the bell into Perrie's face, the referee had to pull her away, she is lucky that the BBU committee it seems hasn't done anything like fine her or toss this result out as punishment.
But we go back to what we said in the last part, Inna's business seems to be settling her issue with her own stablemate Elena, both clearly hate each other, if reports are to be believed that is from their first sparring session that got heated, that will be an interesting grudge fight to watch, the build up should be amazing to see if either are allowed to talk to the press about this issue or the stable keep them under wraps.
That's all we have time for folks, thank you so much for taking the time to read these posts, we hope you enjoyed them, the next edition of the Real View will be back next Sunday morning as usual.

Sarah Cumming reports from Sydney... "We are happy to see Tahan turn some heads over on the northern hemisphere as well! ACB enjoys a cult following Down Under but we were due a wave of new talent coming along! Please don't count Tahan out from making another boxing trip soon, the next V8 Supercars round is scheduled for 8th-9th May in southern Melbourne and I'm told Nicky Whelan really wants to silence the new girl before it all gets out of hand! This could be a lot of fun indeed!" xxx Sarah Cumming Green & Gold Magazine Chief Editor
