Part 1: BBU JMDD title fight Kate Upton and Bethany Lily April seemed to be on a collision course for months, Bethany's fast rise to the title along with her beautiful looks certainly had people quoting her as the next Kate Upton, well the original wanted her title back, who came out on top though?
In the build up since Kate made it known she wanted a shot at the JMDD title, it has been frosty between the tao busty blondes, Kate making it known she considers Bethany simply a wannabe who needed knocking aside, Bethany upset as she had respected Kate, that went out the window clearly judging by the snipes coming from her side, leading to insults and even a slap as they faced off before the fight got under way.
Once it did Bethany was quick to take the fight to her challenger, Kate looked a little shocked by the power of the Page Three star, but by round two her experience started to show as she started to rely on her boxing skills, bashing back Bethany in their exchanges with some slick counter punching.
It was experience vs raw power up until the fifth, where Kate looked like she was going to dominate early on till one mistake led to her being put down onto her backside by a short right hook, Kate was up looking pissed off that she hit the canvas first, Bethany maybe letting her emotions get the better of her wanted more of Upton.
The curtain looked ready to fall on this fight as Bethany bullied Kate around in the sixth, never write off one of the best around, Kate found some extra grit to come firing back in the seventh, putting down Bethany with a liver shot, the champion got up and even somehow beat the count again in the eight, it was only a matter of time and thankfully for the young career of Bethany, the fight was stopped as she was simply being beaten.
Kate does it again, barely removed off losing her FCBA welterweight title, she bounces back big time with her second BBU JMDD title, it'll be interesting to see who gets the nod first from the new champion, plenty of women have made big strides in the division over the past two years, with fresh faces coming all the time it seems.
We hope Bethany isn't holding onto this defeat for too long, she has flew out the gates of her career and this was her first defeat, not exactly a bad name for your first loss, fact that she pushed someone as strong as Kate already shows you she is the real deal already, I can't wait to see these two women clash once more, hopefully in a BBU ring as I know the FCBA would love to have this feud.

Part 2: BBU flyweight title fight The quickly rising star of Leah Perkins found herself challenging for the BBU flyweight title, it must have been like a mirror for the champion Ewelina Lisowska as she herself only more then a year ago had a meteoric rise up the rankings to the title herself, would she be beaten by someone like herself?
What made this more intriguing was the fact that a fight between former champion Zara Holland and Ewelina was announced before this title fight, Leah didn't seem too upset by the apparent looking past her by the champ, in fact she told the world she would use that against Lisowska when they fought.
The first round set the stage for this fight, Ewelina kicked off nicely before Leah dragged her into a slugging exchange, through the opening few rounds Ewelina was being drawn into the challengers type of fight, Leah looking to hit harder on the inside, working back the champion around the outside of the ring.
By round four though a furious Ewelina had enough of Leah's rough tactics, instead making her pay with harpoon like body shots that definitely left a mark on the Aussie model, who in the fifth got irate and actually tried to trip up Lisowska, earning her a crisp two cross combo across her face.
Those body shots really did a number on Perkins, who got sent down in the sixth by a right hook to the chin, then she was brutally knocked out in the seventh by a right across her temple, lights were out before she hit the canvas with a thud, Ewelina kept her title in a great fight!
This was really the first moment of adversity for Leah, so it will be interesting to see how she bounces back, she has been touted as a future ACB and BBU flyweight champion, well she couldn't fulfil her destiny in the BBU, maybe she needs to go back to Australia and try to claim the belt there.
For Ewelina it was another tricky defense that she gets two thumbs up for in the end, she looked rough early on but a simple adjustment turned the tables and she ripped her way through Leah, Zara and Ewelina for the third time will be a war for the title.

Part 3: ACB bantamweight title fight When you talk about Australian celebrity boxing today, you are probably going to talk about Miranda Kerr first, the ACB bantamweight champion put her long held title on the line against Olympia Valance, with the younger sister of ACB lightweight champion Holly looking to claim her own title in the family.
The build up between the fighters was respectful but tense, they both knew the importance of this fight was arguably as much about reputation as well as for the title, Miranda was hoping to continue to prove she is the head of this era, Olympia was hoping to show she was ready to be one of the faces of the division.
It was a tense opening minute as Olympia looked to take the fight to Miranda, who wasn't going to be simply bulldozed aside, leading to an early set of hard hitting exchanges, Olympia came out on top of those it seemed by the end of the first round as the Australian crowd roared on.
Miranda showed her experience in big fights over the next two rounds, jabbing the face of Olympia to keep her at range, then tying her up in headlocks and clinches when the younger woman edged closer, it was clear Olympia was starting to lose her cool as she was swinging wildly and missing.
Smartly Olympia had her sister Holly working her corner along with normal coach Hilary Swank, both cooled off Olympia enough for her to get back at Miranda, if the legendary champion though this was going to be a routine defense, it was getting harder and harder for her as time went on.
The momentum had swung though to the challenger, who started to bully back Miranda with her upper body movement giving the champion trouble, leading to a feint in the sixth round before a right landed flush on the body of Kerr, who groaned out before two more hard uppercuts to the body put her down on all fours for the count, we had a new ACB bantamweight champion after years of Miranda Kerr leading the division!
This is the break out moment for Olympia, arguably this was a upset win as Miranda has been such a force, Olympia has shown great skills along with great hand speed, can she be as dominant? Time will tell but she will have a bullseye on her back.
Miranda still has the BBU lightweight title, it'll be interesting to see if this gives extra hope to her future challengers, she is still a hell of a fighter so I hope that we don't start hearing that Miranda is on the down slide because I would hope I go downhill like she is then.

Final Part: Ivana Baquero vs Jenna Louise Coleman It has been over four years since heated rivals Ivana Baquero and Jenna Louise Coleman fought, a natural feud as you have the fiery Spanish star Ivana and the confident English rose Jenna, both women were at each others throats from day one of Ivana announcing she was joining the BBU, two fights of the year that ended up with both winning a fight apiece, finally they had the tie breaker.
As you'd expect they were at each other through the build up, plenty of snipes over looks, talent and all round just insults firing like bullets, finally when they stepped into the ring you could feel the tension in the ring, even between the fighters coaches as they stared each other down.
The opener showcased their clash in styles, Jenna wanted to box her way into the fight, Ivana wanted to fight on the inside in classic Latin style, it was a hell of a first round as neither wanted to give an inch to the woman they hate so much.
These two simply tore into each other through the rounds, Ivana making things hard for Jenna in terms of pace, Jenna though looked the better pure boxer with her punches landing flusher, each time they fell into a clinch rabbit punches and kidney shots were exchanged as neither was going to hold back.
Momentum kept switching as both found another gear each time they were pushed back, pushing their opponent to be better as they fight around the ring, even the end of the fight was a great showcase of this, Jenna scored a hard knockdown in the sixth, it looked bad for Ivana, who kept going and found an opening in the seventh, suddenly knocking down Jenna, who couldn't beat the count as Ivana scored the biggest win of her career so far by beating Jenna for a second time, proving she is an elite fighter.
I suspect this won't be the last time these two fight, though Ivana has made it known that she wants a shot at the BBU flyweight title, she'll have to wait at least for Zara to get her shot, plenty of other contenders coming through the division too, Ivana has gotten attention with this win.
That's all we have time for folks, we hope you enjoyed the posts, thank you so much for taking the time to read them, the next edition will be up next Sunday morning.
