Part 1: Lisa Maffia vs Nicola Roberts To say Lisa Maffia has had it rough over the past few years is a bit of an understatement, she signed on to fight old rival Nicola Roberts in the three grudge match between the two singers; normally Nicola is mild mannered, clearly Lisa brings something out in her as she really wanted to stamp her authority on Maffia after beating her the two previous times they had fought.
Stepping into the ring both lighters were scowling right from the off, Lisa looking more tense of the fighters as the insults were being thrown before fists were thrown, Nicola understandably more relaxed knowing she can beat Lisa.
When they started trading Lisa tried to match Nicola right away, it was clear though that Lisa was a step off the pace, Nicola hammering right through her guard, landing several flush combos right out the gates that hurt Maffia, who went down in the first round off an uppercut.
Before round two Lisa was hurt with a bad cut above her swollen left eye, she stepped out the corner to fight on, it wasn't long before she was out for the count as Nicola simply battered her from pillar to post, Lisa was an absolute mess laying on the canvas defeated.
We then found out that Lisa has retired from boxing, it is a sad day for the BBU as she is the first two weight world champion here, a Hall of Famer who was able to generate interest and controversy in each fight, we wish her the best in her future and hope the best for her.

Part 2: Louisa Lytton vs Amber Gill While we saw the end of Lisa Maffia's career, in Newcastle Amber Gill was making her debut in her hometown, the Love Island winner took on the still looking for a victory in soap star Louisa Lytton, was this the time for Louisa to finally get a win on the board or was she going into the lion's den?
Going into the fight Louisa was her usual confident self, for being knocked down as much as she has been, she still comes to a fight with her beautiful smile and a can do attitude, of course Amber was happy to be boxing on home turf, though she looked a little nervous.
When the bell rung Louisa looked good in the opening moments, till she took a few clean shots smack into her face, Amber has clearly been working hard these past few months in training as she looked crisp when she was fully focused, causing blood to run from the nostrils of Louisa.
In the second things didn't get much better for Louisa as she was put down by a right hook while she was pinned in a corner, Louisa fought her way back to her feet, with Amber rushing her attacks, showing her lack of in ring experience as if she took her time Louisa would have been flat out I believe.
Instead Louisa was allowed to go out for another round by her coach Emma Bunton, that was a mistake as Louisa made early mistakes in the third that were punished, her left eyelid was cut and nearly swollen shut as Gill just beat her around, with another right hook ended her night in another defeat.
After the bell Amber made it known that she wants to become the number one fighter from the Newcastle area, it's interesting to see what Cheryl Cole's influence has really been in the celebrity boxing world, with Amber the latest Geordie to follow in her foot steps like Little Mix's Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall, Geordie Shores Chantelle Cameron and Vicky Pattison, while Amber has sight her sights seemingly on Marnie Simpson as her future rival, that should be a fun fight between two young proud fighters, though Amber is several fights off Marnie's level right now.

Part 3: Sophia Thomalla vs Helen George The main event of the mini Frankie Foxes card saw one of our favourite's in the office Sophia Thomalla step back into the ring, this time she had the tough test of power puncher Helen George to look forwards too, the Frankie's management crew wanted Helen to show the world she was elite with a performance here.
When the bell rung it looked like Helen could do it, Sophia was caught a little flat footed as Helen smacked her back to the outside of the ring, Sophia rallying late in the opener to give Helen something to think about, understandably Sophia looked annoyed with herself as she returned to her corner.
The resolve of Sophia showed itself in the second as she found another gear, catching out Helen with some pinpoint punches with mustard on them, Helen started to swing and miss as she looked to keep the heat on, by the end of the third her left eye had a cut above it to cause worry in Frankie.
That cut would prove a target for Sophia she seemed to not be able to miss, ramming her fists square into it as Helen whined in pain, finally the beating ended in the fifth when first an uppercut sent Helen down, who rushed to get up on wobbly legs, while arguably the fight should have been ended then, Sophia didn't take long to finish the job with a flurry that ended with an uppercut into the liver area that had Helen down for longer then just the ten count.
Afterwards Sophia made it clear she wants Doda (Dorota Rabczewska) once again, that is a fight I would love to see and would be perfect to see where Sophia actually stands in the rankings, Gina Wild has a legit star here, hopefully she doesn't mess this up.
On the other hand Helen was bulldozed in the end, a lack of fights has really seemed to dull her edge, flying out the gates in the first round she looked crisp, that was when she was under no real pressure, once the fists started to land on her she couldn't find an answer to the questions she was being posed.

Final Part: Maura Higgins vs Rhian Sugden This fight had a little edge to it as both women made it plain before the bell that they didn't rate the other one bit, Rhian normally a JMD specialist decided that Maura's undefeated record was fluff, even with a former title challenger in Nadia Forde on her opponent's CV, Maura simply claimed Rhian was a cheap bimbo, so you can imagine the looks each gave the other once actually in the ring together.
First round saw Maura really lay out her stall, pouncing on mistakes by Rhian, who was using predominantly her JMD style, which simply meant her hands were too low when the heavy leather started to come her way, the best punch Rhian threw was a low blow near the end of the round that shockingly earned her no warning from the referee.
Maybe after the TV awards having to brush off some guy who grabbed her arm was on her mind or that low blow, Maura was pissed off and really took it out on her blonde foe, sending Sugden down in the second with a beautiful uppercut, Rhian had to fight her way off the canvas to beat the count.
The third was a clinch fest as Rhian battled to survive and then hope to rally, problem was Maura decided to fight fire with fire, landing a knee between the legs of the blonde to make her cry out, again the referee had clearly been paid to ignore several infractions.
Finally in the fourth the arse whooping ended with another uppercut, Maura sent Rhian down flat on her back looking at the lights, probably wondering what she signed up for, impressive victory for Maura as she smartly builds up her record right now; at four wins and no losses, she is still young enough and going well to be seen as a really future contender for gold.
Rhian meanwhile shockingly off this defeat is the one we actually know has a fight next, Frankie's Foxes coach Myleene Klass headed over to Rhian's coach Samantha Fox to challenge Rhian to a JMD fight with Jesy Nelson, both of those fighters will be desperate for a win to reboot their careers because both are in a slump, one worst then the other as Jesy needs a big jump start.
That's all we have time for folks, thank you so much to everyone who took the time to read these posts, we hope you enjoyed them, we will be back next Sunday morning with the next edition of the Real View.

When I knock Doda out I'll be ranked #1! And her lousy stablemate won't have excuses not to give me an official title shot anymore! There is no way we screw this up!!!
