Part 1: BBU JMDD title fight It is only over a month ago that the BBU fans voted that Abigail Ratchford should be the first challenger in the second JMDD title reign of Kate Upton, last Wednesday that fight main evented the PPV with a real buzz surrounding it, everyone going into the BBU Arena was wondering which of these two juggernauts would emerge on top.
There was definitely plenty of fire between them in the build up as Abigail made it clear she was really to knock Kate aside to get her first title, Kate claimed Abigail only won the poll on let's say looks, nothing to do with her talent in the actual ring, though form wise Abigail was flying with three straight wins coming into this bout.
Things started off heated with shoves being mixed in with punches, Abigail came out looking to show off her strength, bullying the smaller champion in the opener, before stubborn Kate came roaring back in the second to show Ratchford that wasn't going to be so easy to do.
The first major talking point came in the third, an uppercut landed flush through the bust of Kate to her chin to knock her down, Kate got up looking a little worried, her mood definitely wasn't helped by Abigail coming after her with venomous shots coming the champions way.
Again I use the word stubborn regarding Kate, in the fourth she hung on in there under relentless pressure that would have seen a lesser person crumble, Kate dug in and found her equaliser of a liver shot in the fifth that sent Ratchford down to her knees, steam taking out the challenger proved to be the key different as more body work in the sixth ended the fight with Abigail on all fours.
This was a war that could just be the opening salvo between these two beautiful models, Abigail made it clear afterwards that she knew how to beat Kate, while Upton has been telling media like us that she took Ratchford's best and still come out on top, for now the only thing for certain is Kate Upton is still the head of the JMDD division in the BBU.

Part 2: BBU flyweight title fight Since the Lioness Club's 10th anniversary event things have been tense between the challenger Ivana Baquero and the champion Ewelina Lisowska, at the PPV they came into the fight looking to settle whose the best in the flyweight division, with Ivana getting her first ever chance at the title in her five year career, which must especially have annoyed her as Ewelina won her belt in just under two years.
Ivana was showing plenty of fangs during the build up by calling out Ewelina's singing abilities, saying she was a lucky champion, which is frankly ridiculous as Ewelina has had a hell of a run at the top, she has never looked out of place against any fighter she has met in the ring, arguably the same can be said for Ivana, hence why this fight was so intriguing.
Before the bell had even rung Ivana was verbally berating Ewelina, who simply stared down Ivana as intensely as she has done anyone she has fought, for all that early chatter from the challenger, it was Ewelina on top by the end of the opener, landing crisp punches to knock back Baquero onto her heels, then bullying her around the ring.
Back came Ivana channeling her Latin roots with great inside work, Ewelina couldn't match Ivana in that close, body shots especially seemed to be causing the Polish Lioness problems as she was being bullied into corners, a pissed off expression at the end of the third on Lisowska's face told the story of how quickly things turned around.
You don't become as great a champion as Ewelina without skills, Ewelina showcased them in the fourth with her footwork and hand speed at range causing her opponent problems, so much so that Ivana was sent down after a barrage of punches landed right through her guard to knock her on her back, Ivana beat the count at eight looking thankful the round was ending.
While Ivana was lucky in some respects that the referee didn't step in when she wasn't showing much more then blocking, Ivana did find some great counter punches, then as Ewelina started to show a lack of discipline for the first time in her career that I remember, she started to comeback at the champion, till in the sixth Baquero found the answer she was looking for, landing some thunderous shots in close range, Ewelina was sent down for shockingly the count, ending her title reign!
This was always gonna be a scrap when you see all the heated words exchanged in the build up, it came down to Ewelina losing focus as Ivana wasn't crumbling under her barrages as she hoped, in terms of pure boxing Ewelina is one of the elite in world celebrity boxing, Ivana may have just put herself forwards as being one of the best pressure fighters with her impressive resolve to keep getting into the face of her opponent, I can't wait till the day these two clash again.

Part 3: BBU lightweight title fight That chase for a first BBU champion from Germany since Jessica Schwarz last bantamweight title run has seen several new young fighters try their hand, Ann-Katherin Brommel was the latest as she challenged Miranda Kerr for the world title belt, could she show the world that her stable was ready to take that next step up?
It should be noted that unlike the other title fights on the PPV card, these two weren't out on their soap boxes telling the world why their opponent works in brothels or couldn't box out a paper bag, they simply saved their energy for fighting as they gave each other a stern look before they step off on fighting.
The opening round was pure class from Miranda, who boxed the ears off of her opponent, one of the greatest jabs in celebrity boxing on show as she pounded Ann-Katherin flush through her guard to snap back her head, not many times you see a whitewash of an opener in a title fight.
To her credit Ann-Katherin was quick to push that round aside mentally and came out strong, pushing around Miranda after sneaking inside to work the body, while Kerr matches her skills with great raw power, it was hard for her to do so when she was being crowded so effectively by the challenger.
But things swung back in the fourth, Ann-Katherin's attacks got a little one dimensional, allowing Miranda to time her counter strikes beautifully, the German fighter still had some success but she couldn't get settled as Miranda was turning her head.
The fifth saw Miranda simply smoke Brommel with that classic power supply she has, two flush hooks to the temple rocked the challenger, then a right on the chin sent Ann-Katherin down for the count, all she could do was snooze as Miranda reminds us BBU fans whose the best around.
Ann-Katherin looked overawed when Miranda had room to work, Miranda is one of the best pound for pound in all of celebrity boxing, so it is no shame losing to her, while who could finally break that duck for German fighters in the BBU, well ironically it could be in the bantamweight division with Sophia Thomalla could be the person to bring them a world title, keep watch for her.

Final Part: BBU welterweight title fight The welterweight division has stalled a little around the title as champion Damaris Lewis has been busy in America trying to earn her way into another title, back to the BBU she came licking her wounds looking pissed off that critics were doubting her abilities.
In the opposite corner Alexina was getting lots of praise; while Damaris was gone, Alexina was one of several fighters who have really stepped up to show that there are plenty of challengers coming through, undefeated in the BBU with only Miranda Kerr beating her in the Victoria Secret tournament.
There was plenty of bile from Damaris aimed at her challenger, telling her what she'd do to her after the fight, interrupting Alexina in the press conference, it was clear this was going to be a grudge fight when they stepped into the ring.
Damaris started off wild as she was swinging in hooks that found nothing but air, Alexina looked very crisp in her punching, the second saw the issue Graham would have in the fight though, power isn't her forte, which allowed Damaris to come back firing in.
It was a good back and forth affair with Damaris looking great on the front foot, Alexina when she could land counters was making the champion a little unsure, maybe the bad run in the FCBA was effecting her back in the BBU.
But when you have one of the hardest punches in all the BBU, Damaris was able to hurt Alexina in the seventh, a shot to the temple of the redhead knocked her onto her heels, then follow up big hooks smacked down Graham onto her back, looking at the lights with Damaris posing looking her old self.
I won't go into the after fight actions, I will focus on Damaris, this fight showed both sides of her, she can box well and having the power she has can allow her to punch her way into any fight, she needs to stop swinging and losing her temper so easily, that is why she has struggled in the past several months, maybe this win will clear her mind and bring back positive Lewis.
That's all we have time for folks, thank you so much for taking the time to read these posts, we will be back next Sunday Morning for the next edition of the Real View.
