Part 1: Kylie Minogue vs Tina O'Brien We kicked off this week with a hint of what is to come in the Ashes event in January, Kylie Minogue is leading team Australia into the event with her hand picked fighters, on the other side will be Team England picked by Katie Price, in a sort of competitive exhibition Kylie herself laced up her gloves to take on Katie's Fight Club UK fighter Tina O'Brien.
Not much was said off either fighter as they focused on more proving themselves in the ring, both have struggled lately between the ropes, hence they probably didn't want any ridicule off bragging or making claims of victory before a punch was landed, one thing you can praise both was they looked in great shape.
When the bell rung it was Kylie off the blocks the faster, she has struggled to even win in her career, so it was a little bit of a shock to see Tina on the back foot, quite clearly Minogue was on a mission to make a statement, over the first two rounds beating Tina to the punch, smothering her opponent's work, even as she did get caught with several clean punches square into her face in reply.
But in the third Tina started to catch out Kylie, who was becoming too open in her pursuit for the win, both landed some meaty punches through the round, it was Kylie starting to backpedal as she was getting her head turned by clean hooks to her beautiful face.
Gamely Kylie kept trying to keep on the front foot, by the fifth though her resistance was going till a right hook sent her down for the count, Tina getting an all important win and Katie getting to brag about how easy her team would win in January based on this result.
To be clear Kylie won't be picking herself for the Ashes event, so Katie may want to hold off on the bunting and the cake, this will be a battle between both teams to a finish if past Ashes events are to go off, so keep your eyes peeled for the teams to be announced for what should be another special night for the BBU.

Part 2: Gemma Merna vs Rio Natsume On Friday night the BBU went back home to Cardiff for a JMD night, the main event of the two fight card saw former BBU JMD champion Gemma Merna look to try to bring home another win, her opponent Rio went into the clash undefeated in three fights, would it be experience or form that would come out on top?
While neither had spoken in the build up due to Rio's English not being that strong, the looks both women gave their opponent once the gloves were on and they were in the ring together told you there was tension there, JMD style fighting of course very personal considering you are putting your breasts in harms way.
Little Rio surprised her bigger opponent out the gates with a jug thumping barrage in close, the petite frame of the Japanese model showed it's strength in this division as she didn't allow Gemma to land much more then scruffy digging shots to arms and some even around her back.
As was evident this was going to be a clash of styles as into the second Gemma's reach came to the fore, she jabbed Rio back before landing more cleaner hooks, Rio showed her ring IQ late in the round to back off when she knew the round was lost.
We were getting a nice little scrap between these two, Rio again made Gemma look bad in the third, Gemma struggling with the inside fighting against someone so compact, earning a telling off by her coach that certainly fired up Merna as she got up for the fourth.
Which turned out to be the final round, smartly Gemma slammed in more straight punches through the guard of her opponent into her body, some of the uppercuts to the body lifted Rio onto her tiptoes, leading to a barrage that sent Natsume down to the canvas groaning all the way through the count.
It was a step up too far for Rio, who showed moments where she was dominant, problem was she couldn't take the power of Gemma, with the current champion frankly being a better version of Gemma, it's hard to see Rio making it to the top, still she will prove a tough fighter for anyone in the division who dares to fight her.
Gemma meanwhile now has a date in America with Sophia Bush to look forwards to, neither will be scared of the other being former JMD champions each, Gemma will need to step up a level from her performance here, I think she will do it but of course I am a little bias to our BBU homegrown stars.

Part 3: Lisa Gleave vs Lucy Pinder On a JMD night that had an international flair to it, we got an unofficial Ashes preview clash as Aussie stunner Lisa Gleave took on the British page three legend Lucy Pinder, neither was shy on their belief they'd win the fight as they bragged heading into the contest.
Once the gloves were on they stepped into the ring, full of fury in their eyes as the bell rings, at the bell Lucy looked to make a statement with a hooking drive, Lisa looked a little stunned by the intensity from the English fighter, Lisa looked to the heavens at the end of round wondering what she had signed up for.
The second looked like it would follow the same pattern, Lisa couldn't get to grips with Lucy, the Aussie hitting the deck after a hard right hook, funnily enough that seemed to waken up the lioness spirit inside her as she came back at Lucy after getting up, actually rattling Pinder as she was the one muscling her opponent to the ropes.
Normal service was resumed in the third as Lucy caught Lisa early on, she mauled the older fighter till Lisa went down to a knee, while Gleave got up to beat the count, soon enough her corner threw in the towel as she was just being beaten around the ring, no point risking an injury.
This was a vintage Lucy performance, though we don't see them as often as we used to, it looks like she will be in the Ashes as the Aussie want revenge for this mauling of one of their own, if Lucy comes in this motivated it is hard to see her losing in January.

Final Part: BBU PPV preview We don't normally do a preview of a whole PPV but with this being the last Real View of the year it felt the right thing to do, there are going to be six fights on the card, with a big title bout main eventing the night, so let's break down the event as best we can.
Starting with said main event, Karen Gillan and the BBU welterweight champion Damaris Lewis know each other very well, they fought several months ago in the FCBA's Diamond Boxing tournament with Karen winning by knockout that night, this time around the welterweight title is on the line, Damaris certainly seems fired up judging by her media comments that have derided Karen as being lucky to put it mildly, this should be a fiery contest for one of the richest prizes in celebrity female boxing.
We also have a big bantamweight fight between two women on opposite sides of their career, both coming in on a loss, Lottie Moss will be hoping to pick up the biggest win of her career when she takes on former two time BBU bantamweight champion Una Healy, who while on a bad run of form, still is as dangerous as any fighter in the division, can Lottie show she has potential to be a champion or does Una break her spirit in the ring.
On that note we know that in December Lottie Moss and Maisie Smith will clash in a battle of the prospects, Maisie is undefeated so far in five, coming off a win against Una Healy, now she will take on the hard hitting Lacey Turner, both have history from the EastEnders set, where let's say they were not friends to put mildly.
In flyweight action we have former "Saturdays" singer Vanessa White is on a roll, she takes on BBU Hall of Famer Samia Ghadie in what could be a war, Samia has been taunting Vanessa for weeks now, will that come back to haunt her when they start hitting each other?
In an international clash at welterweight Italian former BBU lightweight champion Manuela Arcuri takes on Russian Sasha Luss, neither has shown much fear for the other in the build up, with one fighter destined to continue to struggle, the other will return to title contention.
In what will be the opening bout of the night we have a Merseyside battle, fresh off her win against Jessica Michibata, Jenny Frost will be hoping to defeat the undefeated in two fight Jodie Comer, you know derby clashes are always venomous, this should fit the mould as neither will want to return to Liverpool a loser to the other.
That's all we have time for folks, thank you so much to everyone who took the time to read these posts, we hope you enjoyed them, well we won't be back next Sunday, the next Real View will be our awards show on New Years Day, so keep an eye out for that, also for the awards poll that will be up on the 1st December, have a wonderful holiday season.
