Part 1: Mimi Perkins vs Roxanne Pallett The Ashes kicked off with Mimi Perkins (Australia) and Roxanne Pallett (England) hoping to get their teams off to a great start, Roxanne isn't far from controversy usually, could she focus on the job at hand and not get embroiled in a verbal war.
To Roxanne's credit she seemed to want to settle this in the ring and not through the newspapers, starting off on the back foot as Mimi took the fight to her, Roxanne showed her experience and timing to catch Mimi in the second with a crisp uppercut that rocked the younger woman back onto her heels.
It looked as the fight went on that Roxanne was zoned in on victory, that's till the fourth round came and a few crisp hard rights wobbled her, Mimi sent Roxanne down near the end of the fourth with some more wicked looking hooks, then as the fifth started it was clear Pallett was still hurting, Perkins dominated her in the opening thirty seconds of the round till the English rose was sent down for the count to give the Aussies a one to nil lead.
It was an entertaining start to the Ashes as both wanted to win badly, Roxanne gave a great effort but just ran into a more venomous puncher between them, Mimi looks a good prospect, even though we are about to talk about arguably her more talented sibling, Mimi shouldn't be overlooked in future.

Part 2: Leah Perkins vs Cheryl Cole With Australia leading after the first fight, the English team sent in Cheryl Cole to bat, while Roxanne Pallett did a better job then Rory Burns in the Cricket Ashes did, it put pressure on the former BBU flyweight champion, across the ring from her was arguably the most talented flyweight coming through in Australia in Leah Perkins, who already has big scalps in the likes of Michelle Keegan for example.
The two big questions going into this fight was first Cheryl's mental state after two losses in the FCBA, the other was this a step too fast up the food chain for Leah, the looks being exchanged showed both women wanted to win this one badly as they paced in their corners waiting for the bell to ring.
Out the gates flew Leah, surprising Cheryl judging by her reaction to being smacked around early in the round, Leah would repeat her success in the second round, Cole seemed worried as she wasn't matching the intensity of her younger opponent, being outworked in their heated exchanges.
But never count out Cheryl, after a stern telling off that seemed to fire her up, Cheryl showed her class to rifle in some blistering punches to the face of Leah, making Perkins have to think about her charges as she was being caught clean, that got the Team England camp looking excited.
Round five came with both women getting busted early on, a cut under Leah's eye was quickly met by a blood nose for Cheryl, neither held back but Cheryl found herself knocked loopy by a hard right to her chin, going down twice with the second one being the killing blow for Cheryl's night.
It has to be said and I'll be happily corrected that Cheryl hasn't won on these Ashes tours, with Dannii Minogue battering her each time they have fought, Leah Perkins seems to have taken Dannii's mantle as the Cole slayer of the Aussie team, maybe Cheryl should step aside for a new English fighter to take her place? I know that will probably earn me a telling off.

Part 3: Elisha Herbert vs Charlotte Crosby With Team England going down two fights, they were basically fighting for pride by this point, entering someone certainly not lacking confidence, Charlotte Crosby mocked the Aussie crowd on her way to the ring, she fought Elisha Herbert, who is another good looking prospect for the Aussie camp, could Crosby stem the defeats?
Well she started off on the front foot, wanting a brawl as she threw in big hooks, taunting her foe and the crowd again, the only issue was that she wasn't landing anything meaningful, arguably the best moment she had in the opening two rounds was a clash of heads that allowed her to recover first and whack away at the body of her opponent.
The problem was once Elisha found her range how would Charlotte do, well the answer is not good, she was getting rocked by hard shots landing flush on her chin, Elisha opened up the tap to smack around the English fighter, making it look like Liz Hurley might tear her hair out seeing the mistakes her fighter was making.
The boom dropped in the fourth as a right hook landed plum on the chin of Charlotte, who hit the deck with a thud, that was that for Crosby's night, Elisha proudly strutting around the ring as the winner, maybe showing she has a future as a champion now she has won four of her five fights, Charlotte meanwhile maybe regrets taunting everyone.

Final Part: Renee Herbert vs Emma Rigby Heading into the final fight there was only question remaining since Team Australia had the Ashes, could they complete the clean sweep with Renee Herbert looking to pile the misery on the English team, Emma Rigby had to try to bring some pride back to her side.
Things got off to a crazy start as Fosters beer was spilled onto the canvas by a few rowdy members of the Team Aussie crew, Emma nearly caused a brawl before the opening bell with her opponent with taunts and then outside the ring Tara Moss got into it with Liz Hurley, which ended with Hurley's face being used as a cushion, hopefully Liz won't completely take that lying down and we see those two fight in the actual ring.
Anyway this boxing match actually took place even with all that going on, it started off poorly for Emma as she was caught with an uppercut to send her to her back in the beer soaked ring, she beat the count but you could see the emotions were boiling over on both fighters as they came back together to fight.
Round two wasn't much better for Rigby, hitting the deck again after more power punches landed through her guard, Emma couldn't seem to get her footwork going, allowing Renee to tee off on her, ending up in the third round being put down for the count in thunderous style, summing up the night for the English team as that ended things with Australia getting the clean sweep.
Out of all the fighters on the card Renee certainly looks to have the biggest upside of a very talented bunch, she looks like she wants a crack at the ACB bantamweight title and Olympia Valance soon, on pure amount of fights she is ahead of her sister Elisha, but either of them could get the title shot and I don't think anyone in Australia would complain.
While we have to talk about the English team, we could use the excuse some of our better talents pulled out like Vicky Pattison but that is acting like Cheryl Cole is not elite (she damn well is) that Roxanne Pallett hasn't been fighting near the elite for a decade or that Emma Rigby isn't talented.
The issue really is when you turn to the Aussie crew and compare how they are built to our group, they are going, hungry prospects that have no fear, fact they are two sister groups who have their siblings back and want to be the better set of sisters helps their team stay focused on winning, the English team seems to be struggling for prospects, with some of our best like Phoebe Dynevor getting signed to the FCBA, so like the Cricket team is going through a review, maybe our Ashes crew needs to do the same if they are to stand a chance not being blown out next time either.
That's all we have time for folks, we hope you enjoyed the posts, thank you for taking the time to read them, we hope to see you next week for the next edition of the Real View.

"What do U mean I should step aside? Such lack of respect will NOT be tolerated! Grr... I only lost some of these recent fights so I can start another winning streak soon!"
