Part 1: BBU JMD title fight The main event on the latest PPV saw the BBU JMD division take center stage as the title was on the line, Charlotte Church looked to defend her title against the Colombian top model Catalina Otalvaro, Charlotte had been a dominant force in the division for the past two years.
Catalina was silent in the build up to the fight, even having security to keep the journalists away from her locker room, while Charlotte was sure she would sweep aside her opponent, their demeanors were there for all to see, Catalina with a ice cold stare to her opponent, Charlotte looking confident as she looked over at the challenger.
It was the champion who came off the blocks the quicker, her crisp jab opened the challenger to some good power punches, Catalina couldn't really get going off the back foot, Charlotte showing early why she had an iron grip on the title with a heck of an opening two rounds.
Catalina though found an answer to the champion, going to work around the midsection of the champ, she looked great when she could get right into the face of Charlotte, boxing her back to the outside part of the ring.
Great at body punching, Catalina had Charlotte reeling into the fifth, Charlotte kept trying to push back Catalina, instead she walked into a nasty liver punch that sent Charlotte to all fours, the stunning singer tried to beat the count, instead she collapsed back down and lost the title in heartbreaking fashion for her, seeing the count through tears running down her eyes.
It was a great performance from the new champion, Catalina started off rough but run through Charlotte to win the bout, you can't exactly say she fluked this win, which must send a message to any future challenges that you have to be your best to beat her as she isn't going to give anyone an easy time.
For Charlotte, it's been a rough year for her, she has lost both titles she kicked off the year with, Charlotte maybe needs a little rest to recharge her batteries after such a hard run of fights over these last two years, she is still going to be pushing at the top of the division for awhile I think.

Part 2: BBU lightweight title fight Holly Peers put the lightweight title on the line for the first time since she won it against Miranda Kerr two months ago, she certainly didn't pick an easy challenger, Yasmin Verheijen has been seen as a potential champion for years, could she fulfill that potential now or would Holly prove she is the best in the division?
The opening round showed how important the title was to both women, Yasmin kicked off the action landing beautiful shots at range, Holly though stepped into the inside to work away, their eyes locked at the bell as they intensely showed their opponent they wouldn't back down to them.
If you needed any more proof on that fact, Holly gave Yasmin a quick headbutt in close, that opened up the challenger to more body shots, Yasmin gave her a shove to open up space to land her punches across the face of the champion to back her off.
It was Peers who kept pushing the pace, Yasmin had to keep trying to adapt to what she was doing, but it was getting one sided by the end as Holly pushed Yasmin out her comfort zone with punches across her jugs, opened up with uppercuts that hurt Yasmin, in the fifth Yasmin was knocked out by a nasty right across her chin, putting her out for the count.
It was a great win for Holly, she really cemented her status as the top fighter in the division, beating Yasmin in such a dominant display was very impressive, she already has her next challenger it seems ready to challenge her, we'll talk about that soon.
While Yasmin will be sore, not just physically but with her not ability not to keep Holly where she wanted, though Yasmin shouldn't beat herself up over this result, Holly looks to be performing truly at an elite level now, Yasmin can learn and reset herself before maybe earning another title shot in future.

Part 3: Valentina Fradegrada vs Miranda Kerr This was the most intriguing match on the undercard, the former BBU lightweight champion Miranda Kerr looked to teach the fresh faced BBU Italian lightweight champion Valentina a lesson or two in the ring, both gorgeous models didn't hold back verbally before the bout.
If you are wondering if they were simply all talk and no bite, they certainly gave an answer as both came out swinging, Miranda caught Valentina with a wicked looking right hook early on, Valentina fired back off the back foot to knock back the former champion in a hell of an opening round.
Miranda looked to have her opponent worked out after that, pushing back Valentina for the next two rounds, that's till the Italian national champion rocked back Miranda with an uppercut, the crowd was loving the intensity of both fighters who kept swapping momentum.
It was Valentina though who looked in a tough position late in the fight, Miranda looking her dominant best, till she got clocked by a right clean on the chin in the seventh, Valentina showing her toughness came roaring back at her, pounding Kerr's face till the Aussie beauty was sent packing onto her back, the count reached ten and Valentina adds another top name to her record.
After this win Valentina has called out the current BBU lightweight champion Holly Peers, what a clash that would be, it seems from stories going around the locker room that Holly isn't afraid of the challenge, seems all that is between them now is the contracts before they step foot in a ring together to settle whose really the best lightweight in the world.
For Miranda it is possibly another sign for some she is on the wane, for me I still think she is an elite fighter, even as she edges closer to forty then thirty, it's not that long ago that she lost her title, in fact just over two months ago, so no need to write her off just yet, still Miranda has to know that her time is ticking, so it will be interesting to follow how her career goes over the next two years.

Final Part: Bianca Atzei vs Marnie Simpson This could have arguably been a title fight if certain things had happened differently, in one corner you had the undefeated in six Italian singer Bianca Atzei, in the opposite corner was Geordie reality star Marnie Simpson, who had only two defeats in twelve fights, one would move closer to a shot at the BBU flyweight title, the other would need to look on hitting the gym to improve themselves.
Both had exchanged a few harsh words shall we say when the challenge was made by Bianca, though they saved their energy after that for preparing for the fight, both looked in phenomenal shape as they stepped through the ropes, plenty of nasty looks to go around by both fighters.
Flying at each other like the other owed the money, both women tore into their opponent, heads grinded together as they worked the others body, Marnie took control of the late moments of the first with some crisp uppercuts as Bianca didn't anticipate Marnie creating space between them to work.
Back came Bianca with a venomous look in her eyes, she started to control the middle rounds of the fight, Marnie not enjoying being bullied back, she landed several good hits but Bianca looked in the mood to really hurt her, the Italian fans loving their girls energy.
But as we have warned before Bianca came in too keenly, she was wide opening in the fifth for a brutal right hook on the chin, a follow up punch sent Bianca down and out for the count as she lay on her back wondering what happened.
Bianca is an exciting fighter that will certainly draw in crowds, problem is if she wants to take the next step up then she needs to learn to defend in her pressure style, several fighters have held gold in celebrity female boxing with a pressure style, they learned how to protect themselves coming forwards till they could get inside their opponent's reach, there's no need to worry yet as Bianca looks a real prospect to win gold.
Marnie meanwhile reminded people why you never doubt her, her toughness pulled her through this one, she lost to the current BBU flyweight champion Holly Hagan, so her chance at getting a title shot right now is slim, if she can keep building momentum though then maybe someday soon she could get that rematch.
That's all we have time for folks, thank you to everyone who took the time to read these posts, we hope you enjoyed them, we will be back next Sunday morning for the next edition of the Real View.
