Part 1: Jorgie Porter vs Lily-Rose Depp We kicked off the week with action in the flyweight division, Jorgie Porter has been battling for years for a title shot, while Lily-Rose Depp is simply fighting to get a win to begin with, Jorgie admitted before the fight that she was only interested in making a little money with an easy nights work in her mind, would that mindset lead to her downfall?
The fight started with Lily starting off with a crisp jab, problem was she couldn't really hold down Jorgie as the blonde beauty used her mobility to keep out of trouble, landing stiff punches in return to Depp's body to make her back off, it looked early on like Porter would be the one controlling the action if the opening two rounds were anything to go off.
But Lily-Rose started to catch Jorgie out with good clean shots through the mitts, Jorgie had her guard too low as she wasn't taking her younger foe seriously clearly, making mistakes when she moved in taking a shoulder around her left eye, that forced Jorgie back looking a little worried.
That all changed in the fifth, Lily got clocked clean with a nasty left cross on her jaw that was followed by a right on her ear, Depp rocked back onto her heels before another brutal right hook sent her down onto the deck, she wasn't beating the count for a sixty count them just a ten second count, empathic knockout win in the end for Porter.
Who if she still aspires to be a title contender will need to take fights more seriously, while this was a fight against someone with not any real power, if complacency sets in that is a habit that can fester and cause real trouble in future if she doesn't get a lid on it.

Part 2: Ann-Katherin Brommel vs Izabel Goulart We had an international themed card in Wembley, the main event seeing Germany's Ann-Katherin Brommel taking on Brazil's Izabel Goulart, both fighters swimming near that contenders status, Ann-Katherin a former title contender but Izabel has a few solid wins again under her belt, so this was arguably a 50/50 fight.
Heading into the bout, both showed some respect with plenty of sniping too, Ann-Katherin got a shock before the bell as Izabel had a special guest working her corner, former BBU and FCBA unified champion Alessandra Ambrosio stood in her friends corner working as her coach.
That seemed to motivate Izabel as she was right in the face of her opponent, pounding in a well worked jab that created openings, Ann-Katherin was worked back to the outside part of the ring, looking a little shocked over the opening two rounds that Izabel was so good.
After a stern telling off her coach, Ann-Katherin came out using a little dirty boxing to rattle Izabel, holding and hitting, once on the inside she started landing hard uppercuts to knock the Brazilian beauty onto her heels, it was Goulart's turn to look supposed by the raw aggression of Brommel.
The rounds went by and Izabel was struggling to cope with Ann-Katherin's inside work, Alessandra tried to fire her friend up, it was all for nought as in the sixth Izabel was clocked with a barrage of punches that reeled her onto the ropes, forcing Goulart to go down to her backside and she didn't find the strength physically or mentally to get back to her feet.
Solid win for Brommel as she keeps herself in the title picture, her fans will be hoping she can get a shot at the lightweight champion Holly Peers, though it isn't too long since her last shot, so maybe just beat the CV up before she comes back to the front of the queue.
Izabel meanwhile has become a solid gatekeeper, beyond that though it looks like she has found her level, Ann-Katherin was a step above her, even after a solid start she was found out once her opponent made adjustments, still Goulart is a dangerous opponent due to her solid technique.

Part 3: Raffaella Modugno vs Hailey Clauson The welterweight division looks in great shape, especially when you have two quality fighters like Italy's Raffaella Modugno and America's Hailey Clauson you can put together in the ring, both women were looking to take another step forwards towards a BBU welterweight title fight.
Raffaella was the one who made the challenge to the "Sirens" stable as she wanted to make a statement, Hailey was the one put forwards for the fight, which meant there was certainly tension between the two fighters as they locked eyes, plenty of pride on the line between them.
It was Raffaella making all the noise in the first two rounds, bullying back Hailey in midrange exchanges, they both were looking to take the others head off, Raffaella was landing more punches to Hailey, looking the more motivated maybe to get the win, Clauson's coach certainly wasn't happy watching it play out as it did.
One punch can turn a fight, that punch in the third was a right hook square onto the nose of Modugno, blood started flowing from it and Hailey looked like a shark that tasted blood in the water, smacking the Italian model back with more punches straight through the guard into her face.
Raffaella looked stunned as Hailey started to switch hit her, work on the inside more, it was like the blonde was fully revved up as Raffaella couldn't handle her intensity, leading to a right hook in the fifth round sending her down, Modugno couldn't beat the count as she was simply beaten down.
If you are a long time fan of our show then you know we are admirers of Hailey's talent, she very well could be the defacto number one contender for the welterweight title, over the past two years she has really found her feet in the BBU, she'll be looking to the FCBA though as her next fight will be on their PPV this month against former FCBA welterweight champion Hilary Rhoda.
Raffaella meanwhile shouldn't be too down, I get this was a very sore loss, especially after such a great start to the fight, she has seemingly got a fight with Petra Nemcova next, one she could very well win but Petra isn't a push over either, it'll be interesting to see if Raffaella can keep her title aspirations alive or will she find herself becoming a gatekeeper?

Final Part: spotlight - under 23 fighters So as we have a spare spot this week due to their being three fights this week, we decided to look over the fighters who could be the faces of the BBU for at least the next decade, some will be ACB fighters we think could come over here and be crossover stars, it's an exciting time we feel to come into the BBU as a fan with the growth of the organization, let's get started then.
Maisie Smith - we are starting with the woman that feels like she could be the biggest star in this list if she plays her cards right, at barely twenty one Maisie has already gotten a record of seven wins with just one defeat, that loss was to the undefeated current BBU bantamweight champion Sophia Thomalla, Maisie has really worked her body into a physical peak, she has good footwork, hard punches and a don't care attitude about who she is facing, in terms of British talent she could be the next Michelle Keegan, who had a let's say good career in the ring.
Elisha and Renee Herbert - we have put the twin siblings from Australia together as both are similar in style and arguably skills, Elisha is the current ACB bantamweight champion after dethroning Olympia Valance, while Renee nearly beat her sister in that race in a losing effort to Olympia, at twenty three this year, they both have plenty of time to work out any issues, they are being touted as the future marquee fighters of the ACB and the Aussie fighters.
Mimi Keene - just coming under our age limit for this segment, Mimi turns twenty four in August, right now she sits with four wins in six bouts, holds a victory over former top contender Nikki Sanderson and has a little bit of a feel of a future Hall of Famer for build and style, Jenna Louise Coleman comparisons might put a little pressure on her shoulders, but it's a flattering comparison to say the least, she has work to do to become an elite talent, the drive seems to be there when you speak to her coaches, so it might not be long before she packs out the flyweight pack into the elite bracket.
There are several other prospects that with a few wins could raise themselves up the rankings into the spotlight, the BBU after more then a decade now has a legacy class of fighters, the elite and prospects that might turn out to be better then what came before, considering the talent we have seen on our shores, that would be a hell of a sight if we are right.
That's all we have time for folks, thank you as always to those who have taken the time to read these posts, we hope you enjoyed them, we will be back next Sunday morning with the next edition of the Real View.
