Final Part: Holly Hagan interviewTom: so we are proud to welcome to the show the BBU flyweight champion, Holly Hagan!
(Holly comes on via video chat, wearing a black sports bra with the title on the desk sitting in front of her, waving to the camera with a big beautiful smile)Holly: hey guys! Glad to be on the show and able to show off this beauty. (Waves at the BBU title with both hands)
Tom: it's great to see the belt, before we talk about the title, we have to mention something personal to you, first we like to post photos or videos of peoples training, here's a photo of your training for big fights and during your weight loss.

Holly: yeah that was a hard time to be honest, though I enjoyed the training, it was around that time that I set out to change myself, I had just lost the (BBU) JMD title and looked in the mirror one day asking myself was I really proud of myself? I was basically a bantamweight on a flyweight tall body.
So for the past two years I have had a former army boxing instructor training me, I am now in the best shape of my life, along with probably the happiest I have been in my personal life, hopefully it shows when I step into the ring for the fans and interviews like this.
Tom: it certainly has done to us, we have mentioned the reinvention of you, we are glad to hear that it has been a massive positive for you.
Holly: to be clear if people think I did this purely for the flyweight title, while that has been a goal of mine since I stepped for in a boxing ring to train, I haven't turned my back on JMD rules fights, just right now as my coach says I have no focus and that right now is defending this belt, when I lose it down the road, hopefully long down the road haha, I might decide to test these new JMD fighters out.
I mean I watched Zara McDermott for example has entered the JMD ranks, while she is taller then me, maybe someday I give her a call or she sends me a text and we might find out how good she really is for example, there are other fighters like Sophia Peschisolido of course, but it's the flyweight division first on my mind and that's all.
Tom: you had a hard journey it should be said to get the title, first you had to defeat your friend Marnie Simpson to even get a shot at the belt, what is that relationship like right now?
Holly: I'd be lying if I acted like we are around each others houses like before hugging and chatting sh*t about people we don't like, the reality is we do speak but not as much, I know she wants a rematch, so let's see if she earns the right to challenge me, the rematch with the title I know would be personal, I hope she understands that because I have shown her once I will go through her, I will do again if she steps in my way.
Tom: moving on as I can see it's not a great subject for you, to the title victory itself, a war of attrition between you and the former champion Ivana Baquero, what was going through your mind during the fight, then after it?
Holly: oh god I did have moments of doubt, while I don't care for Ivana one bit, I'd like to think there's a level of respect we have for each other, she gave me a few headaches through the bout, she is relentless but I stopped her, that's all that matters.
Concerning how I felt afterward, well you saw the tears, everything I worked for had come true, it was so overwhelming in a good way, like all my Christmas's has come at once, I can't really describe it properly because it's a feeling you might be lucky to get once or twice at best.
Tom: now we have to look forwards, so can we get any info out of you for your first challenger, we know some fighters keep news close to their chest.
Holly: haha well as you know I don't have a manager to tell me to be secretive, I do have an agent but they know me, so I am proud to announce to my fans that I have signed a contract to make my first defence this month, it is someone who maybe should have gotten a shot before now, honestly I don't care about politics in boxing or who deserves what, I can announce though that Mollie King is getting her face smashed by me on the pay per view.
She has been whining and complaining for a while, so she can't complain any more, I picked her and when it's just me, her and the referee in the ring, she can't hide behind excuses when I beat her, that's my message to her.
Tom: wow! Thank you so much for the scoop, we are sure Mollie will have some words for you after that.
Holly: Mollie can say as much as she wants, I'll do my talking in the ring when fight night comes.
Tom: oh looks like that will be fiery, sadly that is all we have time for, thank you Holly for your time.
Holly: no problem, anytime you want me back on give me a call.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to read these posts, we hope you enjoyed them, we will be back next Sunday morning for the Real View.
