Former two-time BBU bantamweight champion Una Healy celebrates her 50th fight in the organization so let's check the action from Aviva Stadium aka Lansdowne Road in Dublin, Ireland.

Results: BBU; Story: VassagoBEFORE: Some BBU pundits claim Dorota Rabczewska is only good enough to beat up on the always popular glamour models these days and this is Maura Higgins' territory alright but Denise van Outen claims the Longford brunette is well and truly on her way to become the new Irish #1 boxer if manager Frank Cocozza doesn't screw up the match-making. The choice of former bantamweight champion Rabczewska as Maura's opponent doesn't only answer the Una Healy milestone demand but also serves as unofficial title eliminator according to unnamed sources in the Foxes camp. Maura postponed a clash versus Emma Rigby for this very purpose so let's see if she made the correct decision! Dorota Rabczewska wears a red bikini set & white gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a braid. Maura Higgins wears a black bikini set & green gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a curled ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division. Round 1:The Polish singer is well known for her slugging approach but Maura has that covered in the early stages as she blitzes the blonde up the middle herself and rocks her head back & forth before a looping shot on the ear makes Doda lose her temper wholesale. She jumps at the local favorite and cracks a couple of hooks on each temple before blasting a left hook on the mouth that slumps the brunette on her heels. Cue in more vicious head shots that back Higgins onto the ropes and allow Rabczewska to slam more leather from point-blank range. She keeps the Irish model pinned on the ropes for remainder of the round and works the high-octane delivery to make sure Maura stays covered behind a very tight earmuff. Round 2:Doda flies in with more vicious head shots and catches Maura on the brow ridge that begins to swell as seconds tick away in the second. Foxes manager Frankie C. almost ignores those issues as Myleene Klass keeps him company but the partisan crowd begins to feel the heat when Dorota blasts Maura butt-in-ropes and piles on more ruthless leather to spin the curled ponytail around the model's neck. Higgins just can't find that overhand response as she tries to match the singer's intensity and she's probably not looking to wear Doda out in such a destructive fashion... unless she is? Whatever! All Doda here in the second as she thumps the Irish lass into another earmuff standstill rolling back some tape to her divisional reign days. Round 3:Frankie Cocozza finally orders Myleene Klass to go down ringside and figure something out! Better late than never and Maura opens the third spraying hooks all over the place but she catches Doda on the temple and moves in to dominate a phone booth dispute knocking the older woman back to the post. Rabczewska meets her slugging match but refuses to back away until Higgins nails her across the nasal ridge and follows through with a rare gut shot that folds the Polish singer into noticeable spasms. The Dublin crowd has something to celebrate as Higgins rallies for more midsection assault and backs the blonde onto the turnbuckle where she lands more of these gut shots to force Rabczewska into desperate stalemate attempts in the closing stages of the round. Rounds 4 & 5:Back & forth swinging as neither woman can deliver enough power supply to break the other's resilience which isn't the best of news for Maura's title ambitions. Doda is a tough cookie under any circumstances and she smply refuses to show any signs of slowing down despite a mixed bag of results in the last two seasons. She piles on more leather up the middle trying to score that slam dunk glory alas Maura covers her off and responds with several overhand licks herself. A clash of heads finally drops both women off the collision course but action quickly picks up in the fifth when Higgins begins to stack her punches into the blonde's rack and manages to neutralize her response for a change. She leans into her rival and profits from an awkward step as the Polish singer almost tweaks her ankle before booming a right hook into the exposed chin. Rabczewska sinks onto her heels and can't punch herself out of the hole as Maura duly cranks up the volume catching both the rack & chin all the way until she pummels the ailing foe onto the turnbuckle again. Bell eventually halts the Irish run however... Round 6:...Maura is not to be denied in the next round when she outworks the former champion in another heads up dispute and tees off to sink Doda into all kinds of bother through supreme overhand delivery. Rabczewska is almost too aggressive for her own good as she gets whacked up the chimney and finally succumbs to the brunette's striking before she can think better off it... Maura NAILS her with one hook on the ear too many and the knees buckle upon impact sending the Queen Bee DOWN FOR THE COUNT!!! The Dublin audience errupts in joy as Doda falls onto her knees but she doesn't quite give up the ghost and battles back to her feet at seven. Maura rolls out with more jabbing haze and triggers another slugging exchange where she knocks more leather into the blonde's face as Doda can't keep up with the pace anymore and folds into loud spasms. Maura thumps her onto the ropes and threatens to punch her out of her senses so the ref JUMPS in to halt the beating as Dorota slumps into a tearful disarray and has to be helped onto the Lioness corner. TKO6 Maura Higgins!!! AFTER: Impressive performance from Maura in front of the Lansdowne Road audience and she doesn't shy away from calling out Black Eagles manager Gina Wild to look at tonight's tape when choosing Sophia Thomalla's next opponent: "I know the Doda scalp means a lot and anyone who takes that tramp down is worthy enough of a championship shot. We love Una Healy and this is her party but she's past her prime so it's time for a new Irish Queen to step up to the plate. And I'm more than frickin' ready to bring another silverware to Ireland! Results: BBU; Story: VassagoBEFORE: It's time for a special Main Event here in the Aviva Stadium in Dublin as Una Healy becomes the fifth boxer in BBU history to reach the 50 fight milestone (following Samia Ghadie, Alesha Dixon, Cheryl Cole and Nikki Sanderson). And she chose none other than Alesha Dixon for this milestone performance citing the fact Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts just don't have that larger than life status like Dixon does. BBU TV's Denise van Outen claims it's rather down to Alesha being a much easier target to overcome than Roberts but it's the Irish party here in Dublin so house always wins - even before the first punch is actually thrown. Several guests are in the VIP lounges including all The Saturdays crew, plus Girls Aloud and Little Mix gangs which is more than suspicious given how these girls are supposed to loathe each other? Unless they all came for the free champaigne? Jessica Schwarz made a rare trip from Berlin herself amid rumours she's ready to make an announcement after this fight but let's focus on the two heroines in the ring first. Una Healy wears a green bikini set & white gloves. Long auburn red hair tied in a high ponytail. Alesha Dixon wears a white bikini set & red gloves. Long black hair tied in a half-up ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the bantamweight division. Round 1:Neither of these singers fought this year but Una shakes off the rust first by thumping quick leather into Alesha's face as the Beevers' veteran looks a little slow to react and the partisan crowd lifts the redhead into a more aggressive attack thereafter. Dixon stops those Irish punches with her face and yields more real estate looking even more out of sorts when Healy whacks her on the boobs to open a new lane to punish the English cougar. Una rides the slugging hand to back the cumbersome opponent onto the ropes forcing a belated clinching stalemate as Alesha just doesn't have enough willpower to swing back at the fellow singer. Woof. Una drills easy leather into the exposed midsection and leaves Dixon crippled in spasms at the bell but coach Denise Lewis doesn't look much worried in the Beevers corner anyway. Round 2:Alesha kicks off the second with a much better striking which forces Una to dance around some close range punches but the physical damage is otherwise minimal as the older singer can't quite put enough weight behind her shots. Healy weathers the early storm and mounts a recovery only to misfire on the delivery herself which leads into a chaotic piece of action in the second minute. Alesha shakes off the funk first and bangs a left hook on the nose before landing a nifty double on each temple that grinds the redhead ot a halt in the center of the ring. She adds a couple of body shots and digs a not-so-stray elbow on the rack to stuff the local favorite into a clinching escape come the final stretch. Round 3:Una comes out swinging as the Lansdowne Road crowd demands immediate payback and Alesha runs into an early jabbing buzzsaw that rocks her head back & forth until she catches the milestone girl with a lucky shot on the mouth. Una wobbles forward to meet an uppercut double and gets frozen in the center of the ring as Dixon enjoys her best spell of the night and thumps phone booth menace exposing the subpar Irish guard upon impact. Uh-oh! Healy stumbles to the side and bails out of the zone when Alesha flies in with more slugging pounce but her legs stay behind and prevent the Beevers veteran from adding more damage while Una clears the immediate danger and circles away into safety. Still not a great look as Alesha carries the round but she hasn't really hurt the redhead here based on evidence. Round 4:Rochelle Humes ignites a proper spark into her ex-bandmate's performance to start the fourth and the quick hooking delivery even makes Jessica Schwarz blush as Alesha fails to cover up for the initial double and it all breaks loose from there... Healy goes all-in on the slugging slant and tears a small gash under the fellow singer's eye before mauling her cheeks with additional work rate. Alesha stands her ground until she eats another hook on the temple and tries to bide her time in mid-range only for Healy to smash more head shots to keep the slugging charge alive. Dixon counters over the top... finds thin air... folds into spasms when she gets blasted on the boobs and ends up hugging the ropes come the final minute as Healy cleans up the pocket and batters the English cougar into a proverbial standstill. Bell halts the Irish charge but... Round 5:...it's quickly resumed in the fifth when Alesha doesn't brace for impact and endures a blood spillage from her nose upon the first hooking assault. Una bears down on the head-hunting delivery and slices through Dixon's high guard with ease... Alesha unable to find her range swings anywhere but on target and gets FLOORED when one of the redhead's hooks plugs her on the ear... Huge roar from the Dublin crowd as Dixon lands square on her backside but she's too proud to give in like that... she gets up at eight and makes some gestures aimed at Rochelle Humes in the Double A corner... bad idea... Una jumps into immediate slugging blast and causes more blood spillage as the referee didn't give Alesha time to address the issue... Una barks in her efforts to knock Dixon's head off and she wraps her in a leather vacuum alright... Alesha wilts under this barrage and is maybe lucky not to suffer even more facial damage as she DROPS TO HER KNEES again and this time rolls to her side with eyes closed... uh-oh... no count required and it's game over for the English challenger! KO5 Una Healy!!! AFTER: Great day for Ireland's most accomplished BBU fighter who celebrates the 50th fight milestone with a fine victory over one of the organization's legends. Alesha keeps putting butts in seats and still gets a respectable ovation when she's helped off the canvas where Una enjoys a carry around by The Saturdays ex-bandmates. Meanwhile Jessica Schwarz enters the ring from the opposite side and takes over the mic to indicate she's ready to write another chapter of the BBU's most tenured rivalry: "Yes, I'm ready to beat the crap out of Alesha again... I'm not frickin' retired contrary to some reports... I won't retire before I reach that five-oh milestone myself! Okay, so where's the free champaigne I was promised? Or was that free whiskey?" Back to Una and she's happy to show Jessica where the drinks are but only selected patrons will be allowed to attend the VIP afterparty.
