Battle of the song birds this week for our poll, both former BBU flyweight title challengers, we ask you our wonderful fans who would win if Lily Allen and Jade Thirlwall fought in the BBU boxing ring? Without further ado let's look over the fighters.
In our polls red corner is Lily Allen, the London born singer had many hits at the start of last decade, which is funny as in the ring she has taken down plenty of rivals, in the past few years she has done more acting jobs to follow in her fathers footsteps.
In her boxing she has beaten the likes of Cheryl Cole, Diana Korkunova and Heidi Range, while she has been defeated by mostly top fighters like Mollie King and lost when she fought for the BBU title against Jenna Louise Coleman several years ago.
Style wise Lily has been dubbed the hardest hitter in the flyweight division by some, loving to sit on her punches when she gets into range, recently over the past two years she has seemed to take cardio more serious, becoming leaner to be able to punch with more volume in fights.
Still due to Lily's style she isn't the fastest fighter, sometimes getting bogged down instead of using her footwork, she also has a temper that has led her into trouble in several fights, not having the longest fuse to say the least.
Now to our blue corner we move to North East England, South Shields is where Jade Thirlwall is from, the Little Mix singer is reportedly planning on becoming a solo artist as the band is on hiatus, she also has nearly felt the BBU flyweight title in her hands but fell short.
She has fought and beaten the likes of Cheryl Cole herself, Camila Cabello twice, Emma Bunton and Mollie King, it's taken fighters like Diana Korkunova, Ewelina Lisowska and Victoria Justice who have beaten her.
Style wise Jade likes to box behind her jab, along with use her footwork to move around opponents, she has a solid engine as has been proven by her going long into fights, along with fast fists that do her talking in the ring for her.
The weaknesses of Jade come from her not being the biggest hitter in the division, also she isn't the greatest inside fighter, it's not that she hasn't a hard punch or can slug it out, just she has shown not to be in the A or even B class in those categories compared to others in the division.
