Part 1: BBU Welterweight title bout The BBU welterweight title was front and center at the latest PPV with another historic bout, the BBU champion Josephine Skriver put the title on the line in a rematch from last year with the ACB welterweight champion Jesinta Campbell, who was after as much revenge as she was the title after being knocked out in five rounds by Josephine.
The tension was in the air in the build up, Jesinta's title wasn't on the line in the bout, as you can guess there was plenty of pressure still for her to win the title from her home nation supporters, she was defending the ACB in name, while also making sure to tell Josephine what she was going to do to her once the bell rang.
For her part Josephine looked cool and collected, with the early action being pretty close, Josephine boxing crisply on the outside, Jesinta looked to get in closer to work, roughing up the champion with punches around her ribs, while using her forearms to push around Skriver.
The first major piece of drama came in the fifth as Jesinta caught the champion with a wicked uppercut, Josephine was sent down to her backside surely wondering where that came from, Josephine got back to her feet at eight, denying Jesinta the perfect revenge of stopping Josephine in the same round she suffered defeat at the Danish models fists.
No matter; Jesinta would come out hard in the sixth, problem was Josephine played spoiler stopping her with holding when Jesinta looked to open up with hooks, that allowed Josephine to see the round out and shake out any remaining cobwebs she had.
There was more drama to come, in the eighth Jesinta missed her big shot, instead taking a nasty right across her temple that rattled her, then an uppercut floored her, could Jesinta beat the count? The answer was no as she was too dazed to push herself up, making it two wins for Josephine over her in their growing feud.
So this was the first defence of Josephine as champion, it was never going to be easy, she struggled at moments but to use a cliché, she showed a champions heart to overcome the test in front of her, where she goes next is anyone's guess, I assume on holiday first to recover though.
While Jesinta has only lost twice in her career, both times to the same woman has to be disheartening, still she has to refocus herself as before she knows it she will be back to defend her title, the world of celebrity female boxing doesn't slow down for anyone.

Part 2: BBU Italian Lightweight title bout The second title fight of the night saw the BBU Italian lightweight title be put up for grabs, the belt has become a major title over the past year when you consider the amount of Italian fighters in the division who have really come to the fore, the champion heading into the bout Valentina Fradegrada being a prime example of that growth with her nearly winning the BBU world lightweight title only a few short months ago.
Standing across the ring from her was the fearsome Melissa Satta, another former lightweight title contender in her own right, while she is a free agent now, she has proven to have power and the skillset to back up her claims as an elite fighter.
Neither looked to hold the other in high esteem when they stepped into the ring after a frosty press conference, as soon as the bell rung they tore into each other, Valentina got the better of Melissa in those exchanges, even scoring a knockdown in the second round to make it look a shockingly easy nights work.
But Melissa is tough as old boot, she evened the score with her own knockdown in the third, a left hook catching Valentine unaware on her chin, that dangerous power of Satta on show as she got an eight count, powering through the champ through the round.
Back and forth went the action early in the fourth, till Melissa was caught by a nasty uppercut that rocked her back, if you wanted intense fighting then this was a buffet to you, with the fifth round seeing Melissa savagely knocked out cold by a mule kick like right hook, Valentina ending the fight with a statement.
This was the best performance of Fradegrada'a career, the Italian champion has really taken the title to a new level, though challenges are finally standing to dwindle, she does have a fellow up and coming fighter coming through who might give her a serious challenge in Alessia Uva, it's too early for the bout to happen but when it does, boy will there be fireworks.

Part 3: Diana Korkunova vs Elisha Herbert This was one of the bouts I was most excited for going into the PPV, one side of the ring had Diana Korkunova, a fighter who once ruled the flyweight division as it's champion, won multiple awards, was top pound for pound star in the world, across from her stood the ACB bantamweight champion, Elisha Herbert has the rare honour of winning fights in the ACB, BBU and the FCBA in a calendar year, when she beat Olympia Valance to win the ACB title, she made her breakout into the elite of celebrity boxing.
The fight took place at flyweight, meaning Elisha had to burn a few pounds off, she still looked her usual phenomenal self, while Diana looked as strong as ever, both exchanging a few barbed words between little signs of respect, knowing they were up against a very dangerous opponent.
Off they went at an electric pace to start the fight, Diana looking to use her muscle against Elisha, who relied on quickness and footwork early to open the fight to a standstill, both looked annoyed as they returned to their corners, the crowd was deafening as they knew a great fight was ahead.
Round two saw Diana bash back Elisha, before the first piece of major drama as she walked into an uppercut in the third round, down went Diana onto the sand, wondering what hit her, still she was up and nodding to her corner that she could fight on, her supporters in full voice backing her to fire back at Elisha, who kept the pressure on through the fourth.
Back came Diana in the fifth, smacking back Elisha to the body, thinking she found the Aussies kryptonite, Elisha certainly wasn't enjoying it, finding herself being put down in the sixth round, this time it was Elisha's turn to push herself up, dust herself off and wave Diana to bring it on.
The seventh round was another hotly contested round, till there was another shock, Diana caught Elisha with a nasty uppercut to her nose, blood started pouring from it and as the ringside doctor checked it over, the fight was waved off as it was deemed too bad for the ringside doctor to allow it to continue.
While arguably it was an anticlimactic ending to a rip roaring bout that is arguably one of the best of the year so far, both can claim some pride from the fight, with Elisha not backing down as she wanted to continue, even having to be held back by her corner, Diana made sure to tell the world she wants the rematch to settle things properly as she saw it too, which is exciting news as these two seem a perfect match up, maybe the start of a new rivalry that could go the next decade in the BBU with both being young elite fighters.

Final Part: Chloe Khan vs Christine McGuiness JMDD To say Chloe Khan and Christine McGuiness seem to naturally dislike each other is an understatement, before they had gotten into their fighting gear, both had gotten into a catfight at the press conference, hair littering the stage after a few choice words, that's what happens when you let a rivalry fester for a few months.
As you can expect the looks they gave each other once bikinis were on and they were in the ring could kill, each itching to have a go as they locked eyes, fists were clenched and the opening bout of the night certainly got the excitement for the event going.
The opening bell saw both women tear into each other, Chloe started faster but a left hook to her chin turned things around, Christine ending up pinning Chloe in a neutral corner, where she landed a few borderline shall we say shots at the waistband of the Yorkshire lasses bikini bottoms.
Back come Chloe in the second, landing more uppercuts as she looked in the mood to knock Christine's jugs out her top, knowing Chloe if she had she might have asked for the bout to be a topless one, anyway her pressure led to a knockdown in the third as Christine couldn't hold back the tidal wave of Chloe's punches.
Christine wasn't finished as she fought back in the fourth, being JMDD rules already meant it wasn't for the purists, but the headlocks and hitting were certainly filling the grudge fight quota as these two let out all their hate on each other.
The fifth was where the fight took a turn to the finishing post, Chloe caught Christine again with nasty uppercuts, then as the blonde was whining in pain, a liver punch ended her night with McGuinness sobbing her eyes out and getting the count of ten, where as you can guess afterwards Chloe took it upon herself to punish Christine for daring to insult her.
This was a cracking brawl between two possible JMDD title contenders, judging by the animosity these two are far from done with each other, let's hope for their agents they are not booked in the same hotel for a card or neither might make it to their fights.
But more importantly for Chloe is this was a statement victory that should push her towards the title, Hailey Clauson has plenty of elite fighters to choose from, Chloe has thrust herself into that list of fighters now, it'll be interesting to see how things evolve in one of the most competitive divisions in the BBU.
That's all we have time for folks, we want to say a big thank you to everyone who wrote a fight for the BBU PPV, thank you so much also to everyone who took the time to read these posts, we hope you enjoyed them, we will be back Sunday with the next Sunday morning.
