Part 1: Yasmin Verheijen vs Robin Holzken It's not everyday you can say you saw a boxing bout at an F1 race, last Sunday the Dutch fans got to see two of their home grown models duke it out, with legends of the celebrity female boxing scene from Holland in Doutzen Kroes and Sylvie Meis at ringside helping out, it certainly gave the fans real national pride.
There was certainly a lot of pride in the ring, with Yasmin wearing national colours and Robin getting sponsored by the Red Bull team, the looks each fighter gave their opponent wasn't something friendly to say the least, they wanted to be recognized as the future of Dutch boxing.
The first round was certainly one full of energy, I'd say neither was massively happy with their success, with plenty of misses, till Yasmin was able to get the range right, landing some crisp hooks around the temple area of her rival to get her supporters cheering.
The second also went to Yasmin as she caught out Robin with a nasty uppercut, Robin was showing ring rust as she hadn't boxed this year, Yasmin not in the mood to show any mercy, whacking Holzken onto the ropes, Robin showing a good defence to get out of trouble.
Then momentum turned in the third, Robin has clearly been told off by her coach, she had renewed vigor and it paid off as she dodged a right hook, landing an uppercut that looked to spook the former Miss Netherlands, Robin started to take the fight to her stunning rival.
Robin was starting to really bang up Yasmin, who couldn't seem to find an answer to what was coming her way, hooks and uppercuts started to take apart Verheijen, first putting down Yasmin in the fifth with an uppercut, then putting her down with a nasty right hook in the sixth that put out the lights of Yasmin.
Who it should be said looks to be lacking confidence, she started great but once the punches started coming back her way, well she wasn't looking so good, maybe her loss to Holly Peers for the lightweight title a few months ago is playing on her mind still all this time later.
Meanwhile Robin looks a gem of a fighter, a little rough maybe around the edges, with more seasoning and a good coach behind her, she could very well be Hollands next star, considering their last one is former BBU lightweight and welterweight champion Doutzen Kroes, she has a lot to live up to.

Part 2: Brooks Nader vs Karolina Kurkova A few weeks ago after Brooks had defeated former title challenger Yasmin Verheijen, she made a challenge to Karolina Kurkova to get in the ring with her so she could knock her head off, well Karolina certainly isn't shy, so earlier this week the fight took place in Dubai on the beach, sand, sun and bikini babes battling it out, a fun way to enjoy your day unless you are the one on the losing end of things.
While Karolina to be polite isn't getting younger, she still presents a challenge to anyone hoping to be a title contender like she was at one point, Brooks looked keen to get the fight going as she stared at Karolina like a wolf would its prey.
We had an interesting start to proceedings, with Brooks not pushing the pace as she let Karolina come for her, while Karolina started slowly, by the end of the round she was catching the American with several crisp shots that seemed to get her attention.
As the second round saw Nader come off the blocks faster, rifling in her punches through the guard of Karolina, who tried to match the intensity of her opponent, there was several hard fought exchanges between the fighters, Karolina showing her stubbornness even if things were not going smoothly for her.
The third saw Brooks start to really tear into the beautiful blonde, Karolina was struggling to match the intensity of her opponent, which led to the fourth round, where a nasty left/right hook combo opened up Kurkova for a brutal uppercut on her chin, down into the sand went the Czech model, over her stood Brooks as the victor of the fight.
With that win it was quickly announced after the fight by the This is Glamour stable that the BBU lightweight champion Holly Peers will defend her title against Brooks, that could be an absolute classic fight, Brooks has the skill set to win a title, question is can she overcome a dominant looking champion in Holly?

Part 3: Pia Miller vs Jennifer Hawkins The main event of the two fight card down under saw two women really needing a win to put a jolt into their careers, Pia Miller started her career on a high, getting signed to the Sirens, but it's been downhill these past two years, while Jennifer Hawkins has been more up and down through her career, it is more down lately then up, so neither was scared of their opponent as they got into the ring.
The opening round was a bit of a plodding affair, while Jennifer got going late on, the opening two minutes was a feeling out process that showed a lack of confidence from both gorgeous fighters, feeling they needed work their opponent's out to feel safe.
The next two rounds were a more energetic affair, Pia pushing the pace though not landing so much cleanly, Jennifer more on point as she landed looping hooks that made Pia have to think about it, towards the end of the third Jennifer had Pia pinned, bearing down on her midsection with her gumshield bared as she laid her punches in.
The fourth was more of Pia been pushed around, Jennifer growing in confident as she landed hooks that opened the door for an uppercut to send Pia to her back, while the Chilean born star got to her feet, the fifth was a short right as the pummeling she took bust her nose and she was on her knees taking the count simply beaten down.
While it's too early to say Jennifer is back on the road to the top, a win certainly always helps the cause, maybe a push towards an ACB lightweight title fight with Holly Valance would be a more attainable goal then the BBU belt, still Jennifer will need to be careful she doesn't step up too much, too soon again.
Pia of course will rue not being able to put on a better result, she has hit a slump to say the least, the talent is there, problem we have always heard is attitude, arguing with coaches, getting into fights when she was at the Sirens with other girls, that lack of discipline has possibly cost her a career as a top fighter.

Final Part: Mimi Perkins vs Asuka Kuramochi Our final part of the show we focus on a flyweight battle between two beauties who have taken a backseat in some ways to bigger fighters from their country, Mimi Perkins has had a mixed time of things, living in her sisters shadow, while also arguably looking at the Herbert twins with a little green eyed envy at the success they have had.
While her opponent Asuka Kuramochi started off her career OK with two wins in three, covid though stopped her progress in the ring these past two years, so over the past few months she has reportedly been training harder then ever to make up for time loss, also helps to dangle the correct of becoming a Front Street Japan stable member instead of just a trialist.
Things were tense right out the gates when Asuka didn't touch gloves with Mimi, venomous looks were exchanged after that as Asuka wasn't there to make friends in Australia, instead as the bell rung it was clear she was after her opponent's name on her CV, with several quick fire body attacks making Mimi have to think about it, Asuka showed impressive speed right from the start.
Mimi struggled with the pace, all the running, sparring and other training Asuka had done had the desired effect in the opening three rounds, Mimi wasn't able to match the tempo Asuka set, the Japanese superstar was slicing through her opponents guard with real precision.
The fourth and fifth did see Perkins make some headway, problem was she couldn't land the power punches needed to really turn the tables, Asuka maybe needed a small breather after setting such a pace because in the sixth she was back on the front foot, catching Mimi with brutal body shots that led to the Aussie being put on her knees, then when she was back on her feet, Asuka pinned her again and this time put out the lights of Perkins to the stunned looks of the crowd.
Asuka afterwards has been made officially a Front Street Japan member, well deserved on this performance, we are also glad to hear that the stable will be putting on a card in the next few weeks, the Jewels cards have always been a great place for Front Street Japan to showcase their array of talent, while young foreign talent get valuable experience, Asuka could be an impressive face going forwards for the stable.
Mimi certainly has the talent, I do wonder if maybe Mimi feels pressured by those in her age range in the ACB, she is in a very talented generation, maybe she needs to think about herself and focus on herself, she has great potential so hopefully she can fulfil it.
That's all we have time for folks, thank you so much to Vassago for all their hard work with the bouts, also a big thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read these posts, we hope you enjoyed them, we will be back next Sunday morning for the next edition of the Real View.
