Roxanne Pallett vs Ola Jordan
(Kear's Kats vs Frankie's Foxes)
(15-21, 15 KO vs 16-17, 12 KO)
Results: BBU; Story: Vassago
BEFORE: Former Emmerdale starlet Roxanne Pallett celebrates her 40th birthday today and she's ready to knock Ola Jordan out of the ring in more ways than one according to her coach Gail Kim. The Cumbrian actress beat the stuffing out of Danielle Lineker last week and she vows to scratch Ola off her list as these two hellcats have never met in BBU competition before. Ola is a natural crowd favorite in her own right and she snapped a lenghty losing streak when she stopped Sayumi Michishige back in September which gave her a much-needed boost of confidence:
"Some folks said I replaced Myleene Klass as Frankie's favorite toy but I'm still a full-time boxer! I'm gonna totally ruin Roxy's birthday and rearrange her stupid face! Blondes do it better, bytch!"
Roxanne Pallett wears a black lingerie set & red gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in custom ponytail with bangs. Ola Jordan wears a white bikini set & blue gloves. Long blonde hair tied in a half-up ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.
Round 1:
No love lost from the opening bell as Roxanne squares up to the athletic dancer and tries to knock her head off with the first series but Ola's footwork is one thing that hasn't deserted her and she slips by the challenge before sending an aerial counter over the top that catches the birthday girl on the nose. Ugh! Roxy wobbles onto her heels and grinds into a halt in the center of the ring allowing Jordan to stack a promising series in return as both women dish out leather in the proverbial phone booth before Ola shoves the actress back and leaps after her with another hooking combo. Pallett gets caught on each temple and thinks better off it; she circles away into mid-range which meets little praise from coach Gail Kim but Ola is unable to cash in with the pounce and only lands single punches for remainder of the round bouncing off the brunette's forearms in the process.
Round 2:
More back & forth action as Ola smacks the brunette in the rack and works her to the body however Roxanne lands a meaningful overhand response and drags the Polish dancer into a phone booth dispute where she tries to chop her in half tackling her to the body as well. She profits from an accidental clash of heads that wobbles Jordan onto her heels and rips a right hook on the jaw that slumps the blonde into quiet spasms. Add one more and Ola fish-tails to the ropes where she tries to escape the incoming rush but dekes right into the path of a vicious right hook that nails her on the mouth and PUTS DOWN FOR THE COUNT!!! Uh-oh!! Myleene Klass yells out in frustration in the Foxes corner but Ola manages to avoid the worst case scenario and gets up at seven checking for physical damage. There is none so she uses her superior footwork to escape Pallett's rush and the birthday girl gets vocal at the bell accusing the dancer of cowardice.
Round 3:
Roxanne wants to double down on that knockdown and jumps into another slugging pursuit but Ola doesn't appear to be hurt much as she accepts the aggressive drill and dukes it out with the Cumbrian women in the center of the ring. Both hellcats exchange crowd-pleasing leather before Ola sets her sights on the brunette's jugs and drops a quick harpoon on the solar plexus to make Pallett wince in pain. Another quick strike upstairs nails the former Emmerdale actress on the chin and she wobbles to her heels while Jordan pummels her onto the ropes in short order where Roxy has to clinch her into safety to limit the damage. A lenghty wrestling stalemate follows before Ola trips the brunette to the canvas and lands on top of her to trigger verbal tirade from Gail Kim in the Kats corner. The clock runs out while the ref tries to sort things out and Denise van Outen suggests an oil wrestling rematch to highlight the ground skills!
Round 4:
Proper boxing action resumes with Ola driving a vicious combo into Roxanne's chin to open the fourth and she moves from there to blast the brunette from both flanks. She tags her on each temple but Pallett tries to stay in the slugging zone and heaves one upstairs... she misses and loses her balance on the follow through... she takes an elbow to the chest and slumps forward to meet a jaw crusher uppercut that SENDS HER FLYING DOWN ON THE CANVAS. Almost a complete back flip here from the birthday girl and she is visibly shaken up barely beating the count at eight. She gives Gail Kim a long look as well but here comes Ola to SMOKE her with a hard right on the chin again. Roxy cries out in pain and stumbles onto the ropes where the Polish dancer rolls out the swarming cannons tearing down the high guard and knocking the brunette's head back & forth until Roxanne simply can't take it anymore and CRASHES DOWN ON HER KNEES!!! Ugh! She bends her head against the canvas and slumps face down in spread eagle fashion moments later so the referee waves the count off!!! KO4 Ola Jordan in come-from-behind fashion!!!
AFTER: Talk about spoiling the birthday party here! Ola proves she's not quite ready to slide into punchbag oblivion alas some fans suggest this was merely a dead cat bounce from the blonde dancer. Either way she's won two fights in a row for first time in seven(!) years and she's ready for the next challenge. Meanwhile Roxanne is simply shell shocked and admits she needs a drink like right now! She goes off to the locker room to check for potential cracked jaw but Gail Kim is hopeful the X-rays will come back negative. Nonetherless the Kats entourage should be heavy on the booze during the post-event VIP party as this fight was definitely the one that got away in spectacular fashion!
Official Result: Ola Jordan def. Roxanne Pallett KO4.
