BEFORE: It's time for an old fashioned soap opera dust up as Emmerdale's Fiona Wade goes up against the Sexiest Woman on British Soap six times & counting Michelle Keegan. No need to look at their records since this is a sell out in every corner of the UK however BBU TV's Denise van Outen indicates Keegan's recent loss to Elena Gheorghe could well be the absolute lowest point of her boxing career to date. The Beever's can't afford to carry a slumping Michelle like that since that role is somehow occupied by Samia Ghadie already so Denise Lewis needs to get her act together and salvage the brunette's career before it's damaged beyond repair.

No such worries for Fiona who's here to pile more misery on the hapless Keegan but can she actually take advantage of her opponent's massive struggles?

Fiona Wade wears a white bikini set & red gloves. Long raven black hair tied in a half-up ponytail. Michelle Keegan wears a silver bikini set & black gloves. Long dark brown hair tied in a curled ponytail. The fight is scheduled for ten rounds in the flyweight division.

Round 1:
Fiona gets off to a hot start trying to take advantage of Michelle's presumed lack of confidence and she sprays several hooks all over the 'Brassic' starlet and knocks one huge shot into her nose which spells instant trouble. Michelle tries to swing from her heels which is a terrible idea and she leaks another one-two from the inside as Fiona rallies to bump her onto the ropes where she goes all bonkers searching for a rare KO1 finish! Oh, really? She buries Keegan behind a ton of leather but she just can't smack her with that one crushing haymaker and gets clinched into safety come the end which proves to be a very lucky escape from the embattled Stockport babe. Huh! Even coach Denise Lewis looks relieved at the bell.

Round 2:
More of the same in the second, Wade is all over Keegan like a cheap suit and she really wants to land that back-breaking shot at the first opportunity. Michelle hangs on to survive the initial onslaught and finally shows something on offense when she tags the older brunette on the jugs before landing a rare hook on the eye. Fiona takes a brief pause but jumps into another hectic pursuit alas Michelle is ready for it this time and she blocks off the charge dragging the Emmerdale actress into a lenghty wrestling struggle along the ropes. She traps her in a cheeky headlock to stall the action down and the referee lets her get away with it to run out the clock. Must be some devoted voter for all those Soap Awards, right?

Round 3:
Another quick start from Fiona who still hopes to secure a slam dunk result but she gets outworked in the phone booth this time and eats a stinger shot on the boobs that allows Michelle to finally stamp some authority on this fight. She smacks the older brunette between the gloves and knocks her head back before a booming left hook catches the reeling Wade on the jaw. Ugh! Fiona wobbles to the side which also prevents Keegan from dropping the hammer as she has to adjust her range and Fiona manages to clinch her at the last second. However Michelle breaks free from the stalemate and plugs more leather on the boobs leaving Fiona badly exposed and backing her onto the ropes where she finishes off her best period by thumping more punches to the midsection.

Round 4:
Michelle comes out to deliver the slugging heat but Fiona still thinks she can match that script and heaves one on the eye to throw the younger brunette off her stance. She plugs immediate follow up on the huge rack and shuts Keegan out during the opening minute but she can't quite land that haymaker and proceeds to thump the former Corrie babe onto the ropes where she lands more jug shots to keep the fellow brunette honest. Michelle yelps in some pain but avoids the earmuff cover and works the single hand to pull even with the Emmerdale veteran before a late hook on the jaw catches Wade cold and allows Keegan to blast more shots into her face. Ugh! Fiona receives a nasty shiner under the left eye and barks at the referee for some reason as Michelle barges her with a not-so-stray shoulder while heading back to her corner.

Round 5:
Both women tear into each other with high-octane assault and it's suddenly a war of attrition in the ring which puts the Cardiff audience on their feet! Fiona blows up Michelle's lips and knocks her head back but eats an overhand shot on the eye that makes her whimper upon impact and she tries to duck underneath the follow up only to take a hard right hand on the solar plexus instead. Uh-oh! She screams out in pain and drops her mitts low enough Keegan lands a perfect uppercut on the jaw TO SEND THE OLDER BRUNETTE CRASHING DOWN ON HER BACK!!! More loud chants from the audience as Michelle gloats over the fallen opponent which delays the count and allows Wade to regain the upright at seven. She gives the Stockport actress a lenghty death stare and wants to swing it right into her face but meets a crushing hook on the jaw instead as Michelle packs the slugging drive in and tears a bloody gash under the left eye that drops Wade into more spasms. Uh-oh! Michelle clobbers the wilting cougar back to the turnbuckle and plugs her both hi & low until Fiona simply goes numb top to bottom and slumps into the referee's arms when he pulls the former Corrie stunner away only seconds before the bell. It is over! TKO5 Michelle Keegan!!!

AFTER: Huge roar from the audience as the fan favorite secures a massive win to avoid a complete disaster of a season and there are some very relieved faces in the Beevers corner as well. Heaven knows Michelle is too good to be destined for punchbag status even in her mid-30s and Denise van Outen - never a fan of brunette supremacy - admits BBU needs the 'Brassic' regular to regain some of that past form. Michelle always sell tickets around the country but let's leave the mediocre results to Samia Ghadie, shall we? It's anyone's guess if Keegan can sustain this level of performance going forward or she simply took advantage of Fiona's lack of finishing skills, a popular feature among fighters on the wrong side of forty.
