Pound for Pound rankings (May 2017)
1. Jenna Louise Coleman (BBU Flyweight champion) W/L: 13-3
2. Cheryl Cole W/L: 8-3
3. Lea Seydoux (BBU bantamweight champion) W/L: 6-0
4. Miranda Kerr (ACB bantamweight champion) W/L: 4-1
5.Bonnie Sveen (ACB flyweight champion) W/L: 6-1
6. Alessandra Ambrosio W/L: 9-3
7.Lily Collins W/L: 5-1
8. Michelle Keegan W/L: 4-4
9. Kaya Scodelario W/L: 6-1
10. Cher Lloyd W/L:5-1
These rankings are based on the results of BBU registered fighters for the past 12 months.
As always that breaks down as:
Flyweights: 70%
Bantamweights: 10%
Lightweights: 20%
Welterweights: 0%
This has been one of the biggest changing rankings we've seen in quite some time, championships have changed hands and certain fighters work rates have dropped off.
Over half of February's names have dropped off, with former champions Malika Menard and especially Una Healy big losers in this months rankings as they don't just drop places, they have fallen out the rankings due to either number of losses or the number of fights being too small.
Kelly Hall, Taryn Terrell and Jennifer Metcalfe also have fallen out of the rankings, with 5 new fighters taking their places.
Those being new ACB flyweight champion Bonnie Sveen, new BBU bantamweight champion Lea Seydouxgo, Lily Collins rebirth in the ring under the management of the Vixens to go with the impressive debut run of Cher Lloyd that yes saw her lose a few weeks ago but just earned her a spot, while Kaya Scodelario is on one hell of a run.
Again Josephine Skriver just sits outside the rankings due to not fighting for as long as she did, Jesinta Campbell is another who with more fights should break into the rankings to be the first welterweights in these rankings.
I know these rankings will cause debates on places, whose missing, etc, that's what I love about the BBU, so come on managers and fighters, let's hear your opinion on this list.
