And this is my co-host and colleague from the Real View offices, Michelle Joy Phelps. Michelle: thank you Molly, while part of me would have loved to have gotten in the ring again this year, I have loved sitting on the sidelines watching the many stars of the BBU laying into each other for our enjoyment. To show our love for them, we have a bunch of awards to hand out, this is the list that the stars will be hoping to win. *Rookie of the Year* *Flyweight of the Year* *Bantamweight of the Year* *Lightweight of the Year* *Welterweight of the Year* *Viewers fight of the Year* *Viewers fighter of the Year* *RV fight of the Year* And *RV fighter of the Year*
Molly: but first after a commercial break; we will be honouring two pioneers of the BBU as we induct them into the Real View BBU Hall of Fame.
Those will be presented by our boss from the Real View Tom Hilton, so let's celebrate the New Year by making peoples night with awards.

BBU Hall of Fame Induction: Dannielle BrentTom Hilton: The first person being inducted this year is also the first ever BBU flyweight champion, Dannielle Brent; whose best known for her time on the TV show Bad Girls as Natalie Buxton. While sadly her career wasn't a long one, she was able to win 10 fights and lose 7 in her time in the BBU, she won her first 7 fights in her career with girls like Alexandra Burke, Michelle Keegan and Cheryl Cole falling to her fists. Her title reign began on the 13th December 2010 when she defeated Kara Tointon, winning the tournament to crown the first ever champion and Gemma Merna 6 months later defeated her to win the title. The best fights she had were with Cheryl Cole back in 2010, Emilia De Ravin in 2011 and in 2013; her fight against Emily Atack. We welcome Dannielle to our growing list of names to the Hall, this is a link to her archive page with all her fights on. BBU Hall Of Fame induction: Samia GhadieTom: We would also like to welcome our second inductee to the BBU Hall of Fame, this one a current star and a woman we have dubbed as part of the dynasty of the BBU flyweight division, Samia Ghadie. Of course she is best known for playing Maria Connor in Coronation Street, but her career while title less in the ring, has been something to behold. She was involved in the tournament to crown the first ever BBU flyweight champion, not winning but starting her certainly interesting journey. She'd go on to defeat Winona Ryder, Cheryl Cole and Danielle Harris early in her career, of course her and Cole have had a long rivalry to go alongside her feuds with girls like Jenna Louise Coleman and Demi Lovato over the years. Her career up to this point has seen her reach 81 fights, currently the most of any BBU fighter and we believe she will become the first BBU girl to reach 100 fights, as at 35 years old currently; she still has plenty left in the tank it seems on that front. On the best fights front, I'd recommend any of the bouts with her rivals mentioned earlier, also her "Mr Marcus" invitational fights that she made her own over the years. BBU Rookie of the year:Molly: we love to highlight the amazing new fighters coming through here in the BBU, future champions in our eyes. This year saw a big field of fighters, this may surprise a few people but our choice for this year is Diana Korkunova! The 21 year old isn't undefeated like some we admit, but she has fought some really tough competition for a rookie like Frankie Bridge and Emily Ratajkowski. In our opinion though her biggest win so far in her career was over Cher Lloyd, a woman who could have been lifting this title herself if not for the fact she lost their highly anticipated fight earlier this year. Diana herself can float between being a big flyweight or a small bantamweight, where she has proven she can be successful at both, though a recommendation would be to stick to the flyweight division, she has great hand speed, footwork and raw power to match the majority of the division. The future is bright for this young woman and we honestly expect to see her hold a title before long, keep watch for Diana to make a big splash in 2018.

BBU flyweight of the year:Molly: the BBU flyweight division has been called the deepest division in the celebrity boxing world, so winning this award is big. Without further ado, the winner is the BBU flyweight champion Cheryl Cole! Cheryl has had one hell of a year, she defeated the long reigning champion Jenna Louise Coleman last year, since then she has went from strength to strength. We have to say other contenders to the award was Lily Collins, she has had a great run in the FCBA, but without gold to show for it was why she didn't win the award. Other mentions are Bonnie Seven; who won the ACB title, she didn't have enough fights though to challenge the others for the award, watch out for both girls though to make 2018 there year.

BBU bantamweight of the yearMichelle: the BBU bantamweight division went through a few changes this year, a dominant champion fell, new blood came through and we had new and old rivalries born over the year. But again only one woman really stood out in our humble opinions; so the winner is the BBU bantamweight champion, Lea Seydoux! She unseated the seemly undefeatable Una Healy early in the year and has look utterly dominant over her challengers Fleur East and Elodie Frege. We wish Lea good luck for the next 12 months as many fresh challenges will be coming soon for her, maybe from our other contenders for the title. Kaya Scodelario nearly went undefeated this year, her only loss was a FCBA bantamweight title fight to Emily Van Camp. Also on the honourable mentions list was Doda, she has shown her vicious streak over many an opponent this year and I believe she will be in line for a title shot soon enough.

BBU Lightweight of the year:Molly: the lightweight division was full of upsets, title changes and all round bad ass women who are beautiful but dangerous. The winner of the lightweight of the year is Miranda Kerr: This is the second year in a row she has won it, while she isn't the champion, she has simply being dominant in each and every fight she has been in. She has fought on both sides of the Atlantic with much success, only losing once in 10 fights through the year, that to the future hall of famer Mary Elizabeth Winstead in the FCBA. Other contenders for the award were Alessandra Ambrosio, she won the BBU lightweight title this year; but lost to Miranda in a brutal fight. Also Melissa Satta; who went on a good run this year and Mallory Jensen; who won the ACB lightweight title in only her 2nd fight were in the running too as outside bets, expect all these women to have an exceptional year next year.

BBU welterweight of the yearMichelle: while it could be argued that the division has taken a backseat to it's sister divisions, but it has certainly heated up over the past few months with a champion finally about to be crowned. Our pick may come as a surprise to people, but this year we give the award to Petra Nemcova! While of course Joan Smalls and Jourdan Dunn are set to wage war over the BBU welterweight title, Petra has been on such a run lately; it deserves recognition. She is unbeaten in her career and has amassed a record of 7 wins, all by knockout so far, with victims including Marisa Miller and the big hitting Manuela Arcuri in her last fight. We suspect after she deals with internal politics by fighting stablemate Melissa Satta; that the winner of that might be hunting for a title shot against whoever the champ is, so keep watch for Petra to keep on motoring forwards.

Viewers fight of the year: Michelle: the fights this year have been as sublime as always in our opinions, it has been a joy to sit in the front row to see some more legendary wars being fought.
We were keen of course to get you; the fans opinion on which of these battles truly stood out as the best amongst this years clashes.
So without further ado, I can announce the winner is *opens envelope* Jenna Louise Coleman vs Cheryl Cole for the BBU flyweight title!
What a classic war this was; two women who have never liked each other, but have been classed as part of the dynasty of the BBU flyweight division with Michelle Keegan and Samia Ghadie.
This fight went the distance with knockouts being exchanged; till the scorecards read a draw, Jenna though wouldn't accept that and as we all know, Cheryl knocked out Jenna in the 12th round to end the fight once and for all.
We will send each fighter a trophy to remember this fight and we hope a rematch will happen someday as clearly these two still have some venom ready to unleash on the other at any time.

Viewers Fighter of the year:Molly: what a year this has been; I have been honoured to watch these fighters and blessed to have had a hand in picking the shortlist for this award. Ours viewers and fan base means a lot to us, this award is our way of getting your voices heard and you have definitely done that with the amount of votes cast this year. But you are interested in who won, so without further ado *opens envelope* the winner with half the over all votes is Miranda Kerr! What a year she has had, she has beaten both the current FCBA lightweight champion Kendall Jenner and the BBU lightweight champion Alessandra Ambrosio. Her biggest accomplishment for the year came only days ago; she won the Victoria Secret tournament in the FCBA, beating Karlie Kloss in the final to make history. We wish her the best and let's see if 2018 can be as strong; if not better year for the stunning Aussie model, maybe even winning this award again?

RV fight of the year: Michelle: we have already seen our viewers choice for the fight of the year, this though is an award voted by the managers themselves of the BBU!
The system for this vote and the RV fighter of the year is simple; each manager picked a top 3 choices, their top choice got 3 points, 2nd place got 2 points and 3rd got 1 point, the points were tallied up and we have a top 3.
So without further ado; here is the top 3, in 3rd place was the BBU lightweight title fight between then champion Malika Menard as she fought Jennifer Hawkins.
This fight saw both fighters give their all over 10 rounds, with Malika coming out on top with a points victory and keeping the title.
2nd place was the grudge match between Jenna Louise Coleman and Ivana Baquero, this being the second boxing fight between them after several brawls outside the ring.
The first fight won this award last year and this other 10 round classic lived up to the first but with a slight twist; Ivana Baquero came out on top this time to get some revenge, a third fight can not be too far away though since these two always want a piece of each other.
But I can announce the winner by a good margin was the BBU flyweight title fight between the then champion Jenna Louise Coleman and her challenger Cheryl Cole!
This fight went into overtime! With Jenna wanting to prove without a shadow of a doubt she was better then her bitter rival Cheryl, it proved to be her downfall though as she was stopped on the ropes and Cheryl won her title she currently owns still.
Both women will receive a trophy each, we expect more top notch fights in the next calendar year and maybe a few rematches from this list.

RV fighter of the year:Molly: this is the biggest award of the year to some, this award has been voted on by managers, using the same system as the Real View Fight of the year award. So without further ado, I can announce the top 3 as voted by the managers of the BBU: In third place, is a tie! Jenna Louise Coleman and the ACB bantamweight champion Miranda Kerr both got the same amount of votes! In second place came the BBU lightweight champion Alessandra Ambrosio: And the winner is the BBU flyweight champion; Cheryl Cole! What a year this woman has had! Finally in a long overdue fight in our minds, Cheryl got the big gold belt she has been fighting for since the BBU first came into existence in 2010 by beating Jenna Louise Coleman in the RV fight of the year. To top that off, she has beaten back challenges from Jade Thirlwall, went to America and battered countless opponents in the FCBA. She nearly topped the year off by beating Megan Fox and nearly become the first person to hold both the BBU and FCBA version of divisional titles. As with Miranda Kerr; we hope Cheryl can keep this level up for the next 12 months and we hope to see you guys soon for the first Real View episode, which will be this Sunday guys!
