Tom Hilton:It feels like a lifetime ago but hello ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the first Real View episode of the year, what a 12 months we have just had and I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year. Now onto business though, starting this weeks episode off with discussion of Doda vs Vera Brezhneva, a battle of the Baltic's from New Years day. Then we move to the Christine Bleakley and Zoe Salmon, two women who know each other very well, who battered whom though? The last bout from the same card as those two fights saw the controversial former Miss UK Zara Holland fight Australia's Rhiannon Fish in I guess our unofficial ashes fight. Lastly on today's show; we will discuss the first Quarter of last year, recapping it for maybe any new fans and as a look back on another historic year for us. We were happy with the way the BBU awards, which have been received with praise from managers, the fact is we wouldn't be able to do any of this if it wasn't for the amazing work the managers do and it wouldn't be worth it without you amazing fans, thank you all!

Part 1: Doda vs Vera Brezhneva What better way to start the show and maybe the year then a real grudge main event between two women who are from similar backgrounds, though Doda has the spark that people hate, also known as being a bytch!
This was for the crown of the best Baltic celeb fighter; an unofficial title but one both women took serious and the fact they truly hate each other was the cherry on top.
Both fighters started the fight as you'd expect, flying out the corners to engage in a real scrap of a first round, neither giving an inch and I'm still stunned that neither were knocked out by the bombs they were landing.
Vera though changed her style somewhat, a weakness some have said is Doda's defence; one that the older woman took advantage of as she countered the Pole and drive her back around the ring.
The Ukrainian took control of the round and Doda looked like she had never been in a boxing ring as the less experienced fighter had all the answers for her throughout the first half of the fight, including a knockdown in round 4 of Doda.
But that seemed to put Vera surprisingly into a mindset of protection then destruction, not engaging as much and that was a big mistake.
Doda started to make things scruffy, shoving Vera onto the ropes around the ring, piercing her guard as Brezhneva looks upset by the tactics of her foe.
The fight went all the way to the final round; Doda looking demonic with her eyes full of hatred for Vera and like a wolf she took her prey down with a thunderous body assault!
Vera managed to beat the count, but she got knocked out by a hell of a hook to the temple that could finish any fight in my eyes.
I suggest you go read this fight, this is an early contender for the BBU awards at the end of the year, an amazing start to the year that lived up to the hype.
The ironic thing is though that it could have been so different! Doda was hurt and Vera should have known that, instead she let the ever dangerous Doda breath and it ended with her being carried out on a stretcher.
Doda to her credit rebounded, where some would wilt; she didn't but she did need Mel to help carry her out of the ring as she was hurting to say the least, she is on a well deserved holiday.
It will be interesting to see where both go, Doda has two French stunners after her in Clara Morgane and Elodie Frege, she is on holiday right now to recover from this.
No comments yet from Vera; who will be stewing for a rematch and even with this set back, she might be even hunting for a title shot if things work out for her with her next few fights.

Part 2: Christine Bleakley vs Zoe Salmon These were both stablemates roughly 18 months ago and both stunning Irish girls, so they have a lot of history and the rumours are a lot of animosity towards each other.
Christine had been in America, I can tell you my girl Denise Van Outen wanted badly to tear her hair out but also told me it was nice to have the quiet, read into that what you will.
While Zoe has not really done much, a few wins but mostly to lesser talents, so it was all on her to step up in class here.
The fight was surprisingly a slow starter, so much so that Zoe claimed Christine was a coward! Even though she didn't exactly come out with the big guns.
This was the polar opposite to the main event, where it was blood and thunder; this was kittens and flowers for the opening rounds.
Till Zoe decided to push the action and stupidly got caught; a lazy defence and a glass chin that's been shattered around the UK, so when Christine caught her coming in, well she was rocked.
Christine was waiting and paid off as she battered Zoe back, the blonde didn't seem to believe it, maybe it was something Christine had never shown in their sparring sessions or it could be Zoe was rocked badly before we even knew it.
In the 4th round; Zoe again tried to do something to turn it around, going for a hooking drive that ended with her getting caught out again, getting put down by a hook right on her nose.
A smart trainer may have told Zoe to stay down, take the paycheck and live to fight another day with no real damage, instead she got up and ate a vicious combo of head shots that switched her lights off and it was all she wrote.
It was a hard fight to guage; the first two rounds were lackluster by both, the last two was simply Christine smashing Zoe into the canvas, so was in a good result really for Christine.
All I can say is Christine probably has a list of girls wanting a piece of her soon, she has a great record but needs to step up once she has her full match fitness again so we can see where she stands.
On Zoe, well she is a punchbag now, someone I'd recommend to new managers or new free agents, a fight with Laura Whitmore whose struggled badly as well might be her only saving grace, maybe...

Part 3: Zara Holland vs Rhiannon Fish While the real ashes are going on, this was an unofficial version from the BBU I guess as the former Miss Great Britain Zara met the stunning Aussie Rhiannon.
Both are seen as good fighters with still a little more to prove to be classed as an elite fighter, this might have been the fight to get people to notice them more.
The fight was a surprise to say the least, Zara who is always aggressive true, but the way she got right through Rhiannon's defences to really batter her.
Rhiannon tried to adapt in the 2nd round, but Zara just kept at her till she could land bombs and stunned Fish badly, with Mel B in the Lioness corner looking ready to rip the gloves off her fighter to show her how to fight herself!
The 3rd round saw Rhiannon finally go down, the assault she was under put her on her backside and she showed she has toughness on her side to get up, sadly for her fans though it led to hooks battering her till she went down for the count.
This could be the fight that gets Zara the big fights, in some ways with the Contender 6 tournament happening, if this had come a month ago, she might have found her way in this instead of maybe Stephanie Davis.
But it will be interesting to see where Zara goes as she hunts for a title shot over the next 12 months and being early 20's, this could be the start of a new dynasty as the old one (Michelle Keegan, Jenna Louise Coleman, Cheryl Cole and Samia Ghadie) with women like Ivana Baquero and Stephanie Davis challenging them.
For Rhiannon, rumours are of either a trip to Canada or back down under, either way the change of scenery might do her good as even her own Lioness stable backyard of Burton is looking a bad place for her.

Final part: A recap of January to March So for the next few weeks, we are going to recap the major events from the past 12 months, this week starting with the 1st 3 months so you can see how we got to the place we are now with titles, big name rivalries and other news stories.
We have to start with the best of 3 series between Mutya Buena and Bonnie Seven, two big flyweights with big punches in either hand doing battle to show who was the tougher woman.
In the end Bonnie would take the series 2 to 1 after a bad start where she was knocked out to give her first defeat, she showed her toughness though to come back and knock Mutya out twice.
We saw the debut of Demi Rose Mawby in JMD, she defeated Vicki Lloyd to show she was the real deal, now she holds the FCBA JMD title.
Mallory Jensen also made her debut; she would go on to big things later in the year, first though she defeated Rachael Taylor, who is no pushover; so we will be watching her closely.
But the biggest moments of the 3 month were in the March PPV, with Jenna Louise Coleman defending her BBU flyweight title title against ACB flyweight champ Emily Browning.
It also saw the shock of Una Healy losing her bantamweight title to Lea Seydoux, the French star stopped one of the most impressive runs in the BBU's history and did it in one hell of a war.
So that was the biggest things from the first 3 months and it is also the end of the show this week, hopefully it was a fun one and we see you guys next week.
