Final part: Rita Ora interviewMichelle Joy Phelps: hey guys, long time no see; I am here again interviewing another BBU star, this time please welcome the wonderful Rita Ora!
(Out comes Rita wearing a dark blue dress and heels, she waves to the crowd before shaking hands with Michelle, then sitting down)
Michelle: well Rita it is great to have you here.
Rita: it is great to be here, I always love chatting with you at the events.
Michelle: thank you; now I have to ask, what got you into the fight game on top of being a singing superstar?
Rita: well I spoke to my agent on different matters and he told me that an FCBA stable wanted to give me shot, they had seen my sparring video with David Haye and saw I had some skills.
Michelle: we have said video here for our viewers.
m.youtube.com/watch?v=WOmQU8to6QkRita: I loved that day; David actually kept showing me the ropes after then and we have kept in close contact, in fact I might be going to train with him again as I'm a free agent.
Michelle: before we discuss the free agency, what was it like in Queens of the Mic?
Rita: it was interesting, we all got on well to a degree but it felt like we needed to one up each other, I mean me and Gaga didn't get on; me knocking her out in my debut didn't help, she's the only one I'm glad to see the back of.
But I'd be lying if I said I don't miss it; being part of a stable and having other women who want to be successful as you helps motivate you, that's in the past though.
Michelle: true; as you've said, as of the 15th December, your stable disbanded and you are on the free agency list, what are you doing to keep active and keep fit.
Rita: I've been going to Gotham gym in New York for the past month, many other celebrities like supermodels like Adriana Lima swear by it, well I can definitely say they work you hard, which is what I need.
Michelle: we have photos from your training sessions to build up for your BBU debut against Pixie Lott last week.
Rita: haha there not my greatest pics, I was exhausted from head to toe that day, my coach there is the same one Dua Lipa has, look at her success as proof that it works.
Just on Dua; I'm happy she is a lightweight and I'm a bantamweight, I've sparred with her and boy can she hit, she's become a good friend.
Michelle: wow, that sounds like you've found your place and you are happy.
Rita: as I said; I'll be doing a week with Haye in his gym, learning off a former world champion in two different weigh divisions isn't something to turn your nose up to, then I'll go back to New York, get into ring shape and have my second BBU fight.
But if a stable wanted me; I certainly wouldn't turn it down, at the moment I'm having to get my agent, who isn't a boxing man to set up fights, so having a manager within the set up helps massively.
Michelle: so do you have your next opponent sorted?
Rita: I've been told it will be me and Rhian Sugden in the Copper Box Arena on the 21st March, hopefully nothing gets in the way of the fight taking place and I get to show my skills once more.
Michelle: I can't wait for that fight, another people are talking about happening in future is a rematch between you and the BBU bantamweight champion Helen Flanagan.
Rita: I haven't forgotten the humiliation she gave me, having to be smothered by her oversized plastic tits isn't my idea of fun.
Problem I have is I'm stuck fighting to catch up to her, how she got the title still astounds me and I know others, she isn't the best around and either I step up and take that title myself, or I blast her out on her way down the rankings as I go up.
Mark my words; that bytch will get what is coming to her someday soon, I'll make sure of that.
Michelle: strong words, does anyone else take your fancy on your hit list of BBU talents?
Rita: hmm probably Una Healy, she run the division around here for a long time and I look forwards to her return, but I want to beat her arse so she knows I am better then her.
Maybe that polish s*** Doda, I've had the displeasure of seeing her around London making a fool of herself, I'd love to batter her in the night clubs then just the ring.
Any others; hmm... Maybe Lacey Turner, I see she is unbeaten; how no one has caught her flush on the chin and knocked her out yet bamboozles me, I'd love to get an answer first hand.
Michelle: that's quite the list; my final question as we are close to running out of time, do you prefer the FCBA or the BBU?
Rita: haha hmm give me a few more fights here and I'll tell you
I'll admit that the star level here shouldn't be disrespected at all, I mean Gal Gadot and frickin Alessandra Ambrosio have fought for the lightweight title, Hayley Atwell has the BBU JMD, Cheryl Cole owns the flyweight title to name just a few!
So I'll stick around here a bit longer, but I will be still fighting FCBA fights when I can, I mean I need as much work as I can, so ask me in a year what my opinion is.
Michelle: that's it folks; I want to say thank you to Rita for being a very special guest, hopefully we see you guys next Sunday for more Real View! Thank you guys!
