Tom Hilton: Hello ladies and gentlemen; I hope you've all had a good week during this horrible "Beast from the east" crappy weather we've had and most importantly you are all safe.
The BBU this week did keep on going with the PPV and an amazing bout between Malese Jow and Maria Valverde.
We are starting this weeks show with the main event of the BBU PPV, the BBU JMDD title was on the line with Hayley Atwell defending against Nabilla Benattia, could Hayley keep the title or would the French model be claiming the title?
Secondly we will talk about the other title fight that was on the card; this time between the BBU JMD champion Rosie Jones and Holly Hagan, could Holly upset the odds or was Rosie just too strong?
Then we will talk about the Nina Agdal vs Mathilde Gohler; both supermodels wanted to beat the daylights out of each other, which one succeeded on Wednesday?
Finally we discuss the fight between Olympia Valance and Sarah Harding, lots of pride on the line as Olympia seems to have made it her sworn mission to wipe the bantamweight class of Girls Aloud out the BBU, could she complete the set?
In quick news; we reported that Danielle Harold had left the Beever's Babe's stable, amazing how quickly things can move, first she joined the new look Marti's Maulers and her first opponent it seems will be former stablemate Alesha Dixon! So keep watch for that grudge fight.

Part 1: BBU JMDD title fight Well it was interesting to see Nabilla Benattia get the title shot in the first place, she has had two fights but was unbeaten in JMDD fights and her pounding of the highly thought of Monika Pietrasinska was most likely what earned her this chance.
Hayley was very gracious in the build up towards her challenger, as someone who herself suffered from as she put it "free agency curse" she said she saw how good Nabilla could be and that she wanted to give her the shot.
If you are worried reading this that they both simply stepped into the ring, hugged and lightly tapped each others jugs as they giggled, you'd be dead wrong; these two waged war for 4 rounds where they threw everything at each other.
Nabilla actually started the stronger in what was a fiery opener; both jugs were getting knocked left, right and center with uppercuts from Hayley looking like they'd spring the French girls bust out her top, a right to the body of the champ winded her and Nabilla finished the round with the champ on the back foot.
Hayley though settled back into her boxing skills instead of trying to slug it out with the bigger girl, as much as I love the tomboy side of Hayley that is willing to brawl as if it's a Friday night in a bar alley, she is a good technical boxer and smart.
That lead her to take round 2 quite comfortably as Nabilla emboldened by her success in the opener was swinging a little too wildly for my liking and judging by her coaches reaction better rounds, him too.
Round 3 though took a stunning turn of events; an uppercut rocked Hayley's head back and she finished the round cowering in a corner as Nabilla just pounded away with everything and the kitchen sink it seemed.
Nabilla trying to push her advantage in round 4, but that lack of experience finally caught up with the challenger, who once she wasn't landing as cleanly as she hoped, started swinging for the fences.
Hayley seeing an opening; almost took the head off the shoulders it seemed of Nabilla with an uppercut, I can tell you the crowd was as stunned as me as the model collapsed like a sack of spuds to the deck, it took us a moment to realise that she wasn't going to beat the count, the champ keeping her title against a spirited opponent.
First I'll give Nabilla credit; I always thought she had an outside chance because of her physical size advantage over Hayley, she showed she has power and a good base in this fight.
That base will grow once she can get more fights of course, hopefully she can get those and on a training level, I'd suggest she heads to a high level gym to build on her base skills.
On Hayley; it wasn't her greatest performance but it showed what I have been saying, this is one tough woman with all the tools, she just needed the confidence to make a step up in my eyes, by the looks of the way she is handling herself in interviews and with the diamond bra, she now has the aura of an elite fighter.
Only question I have is who is next? Nabilla wasn't an overly strong first pick it could be argued, the fight would probably dismiss that as Nabilla nearly had the title, but with women like Alice Goodwin, Lucy Pinder hanging around the scene, even Kelly Brook hoping for another shot, there are plenty of woman who want that title.

Part 2: BBU JMD title fight OK I'll admit I wasn't a big fan of this fight coming into it, Holly like Nabilla in the JMDD title fight isn't an experienced fighter, with this only being her 5th fight, in her defence she is also unbeaten specifically in JMD action, her only loss a traditional fight to Roxanne Pallett.
But unlike Nabilla; Holly is 4 inches smaller then Rosie, who was also a former BBU bantamweight champion in her career.
The build up didn't fill me for much hope of a classic as Holly was abusive and if there were doubts were Geordie Shore "character" was put on, this proved without a doubt that it is the real her.
The opening 2 rounds of the fight was basically Rosie's round with only token responses from Holly, that longer reach was giving Holly trouble as even Ray Charles could see a mile off would.
But Holly did find a way inside in the 3rd, tearing away at the jugs of Rosie, smartly keeping in tight each time the champ tried to move out the way of her.
You could argue normal service was resumed as Rosie put down Holly with a three punch combo across the face of her challenger, Holly pulled herself up to beat the count and had to cover up as Rosie tried to end the fight, the bell rung before she could.
Rosie looked on top early in the 5th round, but Holly dipped under a hook that I think would have finished it, instead Rosie got caught on her liver area and it seemed to hurt Rosie badly as she stepped back.
The shock was completed in the 6th as more body shots put Rosie went down to her knees and couldn't beat the count, Holly shocking me and I'd say the majority of pundits and fans with this result.
Even now after the fact I can't believe it; Rosie was in full control in the opening rounds, had Holly down but she couldn't finish the job off, so I want to pass on that I was proven totally wrong and that Holly deserves this victory.
I still believe Rosie will be back into the hunt soon for a title, she is good enough to get a shot at the bantamweight title in my eyes if she can get a few wins maybe.
While Holly will have a group of girls looking to rip the title off her and smother her out afterwards, can Holly now prove that she is worthy to keep the title for a long time or will this be a flash in a pan?

part 3: Nina Agdal vs Mathilde Gohler Who can say they don't like two supermodels fighting? The added bonus here was the fact this was a derby for the two women as they are both Danes and they have history with each other in the ring.
The build up was tense; both women insulting each other led to a brawl at the weigh in, the two big girls had to have a big group of guys to rush to try to pull them apart, it was a struggle but after a few kicks to shins, they were apart, though I'd pay to see these two go at it without the gloves someday for the record.
But the fight with the gloves wasn't exactly bad, hell it was awesome as these two went for it from the bell, Nina's nose was busted open from the opening round, fitting in some ways with the bad blood between these two.
Round 2 was also a very physical round as expected, Nina's nose was reopened; but she came roaring back, beating Mathilde back around the ring after rocking her.
The remaining 2 rounds continued to be stay in the brawling mould, both women hammering each other around the ring.
It was Nina though who was really in control as she beat up Mathilde enough to force the referee to step in as Gohler just couldn't defend herself.
The after fight instance was horrible to see but was expected, Mathilde low blowing Nina and leading to another down and dirty catball on the canvas, again I hope they can be allowed to meet without the gloves since they seem desperate to do that themselves.
But it has to be pointed out that Mathilde has once again not won in the big fight situation, it has to becoming a worry for her stable as she can beat the tune up fighters easily but stepping up is a big issue for her.
Nina well showed why she has been dubbed the next big thing by some, I'd love to see more of her around the BBU but it is most likely just a flying visit sadly.

Final Part: Olympia Valance vs Sarah HardingNext time I see Olympia remind me to ask what she has against Girls Aloud stars; she beat Kimberley Walsh in a competitive 9 rounds that could have been anyone's, beat Nicola Roberts in another bruising battle but one that lasted less time and then she fought the one who is dubbed by some as the toughest member of the group in Sarah. Who wanted to badly avenge her friends and stablemates defeats, some believing she would as unlike those two she has been tipping the lightweight scales the past few years, Olympia though we've heard can too so really how much an advantage that really was is anyone's guess. When they stepped nose to nose there was real tension between these two, maybe like the Nina and Mathilde they wanted to bare knuckle fight as they just seemed to want to batter each other into a mess. Sarah surprised the hometown crowd for Olympia by coming straight up the middle, though Sarah has the tough girl rep for a reason, showing she wasn't afraid of the situation or her opponent. But Olympia adapted, outboxing the blonde it has to be said as she let Sarah throw bombs that found thin air and countered her with stiff jabs and straights. Sarah got caught in round 3 with an uppercut drive that rocked her, Olympia started to bully her around the ring instead and the crowd of course loved it, in fact it was deafening as they cheered their girl on. They got their wishes answered in round 4 as Sarah was put down with a vicious body shot, she showed her toughness to get back up but it wasn't long till she was down for the count! After the fight it looked like we might get an fight between Olympia and the Lioness Clubs coach Mel as the victor waved the coach in, telling her "is that all you've got" luckily cooler heads prevailed as Olympia let Mel get her fighter out the ring. First let's talk Sarah, she still has my respect even after this loss, but it has to be worrying the manner of this defeat, whether cutting down to bantamweight for the first time in a long time did the damage or we are seeing a real decline is yet to be seen. I still personally believe Sarah can ruffle feathers in the BBU, I don't just mean with her antics outside the ring I mean her skills inside it. Meanwhile Olympia has choices, does she jump into a big fight or stay at this level and gain more experience, she is rated highly due to background before she even stepped foot in the ring of doing boxing training and reportedly sparring with her big sister Holly for years when she turned 18 in fact. So can she actually step up and win the BBU bantamweight title? Time will tell but I certainly know she is desperate to do so as any fighter should be. That's the end of the shows folks, thank you to everyone who took the time to watch and I hope it was fun, we hope to see you all next Sunday as usual.
