Tom Hilton: Hello ladies and gentlemen; hopefully the wintery weather is finally leaving us and spring is finally here *touch wood* the BBU is really on one hell of a run of fights with the Marti Maulers getting their own PPV and South Africa saw one hell of a fight between two young stars.
We start with the Sun City battle between Jenna Pietersen and Lorena Rae, could the hometown girl Jenna keep her impressive start to her career going or did Lorena upset her?
Then we discuss the main event from the Maulers card, Tilly Keeper vs Jacqueline Jossa was a battle between two stunning up and coming stars.
Third on today's card; is Shona McGarty and Charlie Brooks had many nasty words in the build up to their fight, could it live up to the hype?
Finally I will discuss a fight I have been asked to comment on due to the manner of the ending, Samia Ghadie fought the debuting Amy-Leigh Hickman.
I suggest you guys go and look up the card as it was great action, lots of new faces mixed in with the older heads of the BBU.
We will also hopefully have news on the next BBU PPV and a possible card with a massive bout for a title that we can't reveal yet, so keep watch for these announcements.

Part 1: Jenna Pietersen vs Lorena RaeA trip to Sun City to watch two beautiful women in the ring, sometimes life is wonderful this was certainly wonderful as Jenna and Lorena while young in their careers, have a lot of people wondering how they will do in their careers. So far it is Jenna who is having much more success as she has a good record and has fought in America in the FCBA in a JMDD fight, so she is certainly being marketed well, as well proving it in the ring. While the German Lenora hasn't been as successful, losing her debut to Mathilde Gohler, who is far from an easy win for anyone on there debut, showing she hasn't had smartest of agents it seems. The fight itself started with Lorena taking the fight to the hometown girl, with Lorena smacking her back behind her guard. Even when Jenna started to fight back, leading to one hell of a back and forth exchange, Lorena smartly changes her target to work the jugs of Jenna to distract her enough to get back in control. Round 3 is when the fight started to turn; Lenora was starting to look a little one dimensional with her purely brawling tactics, with Jenna finally working out how to counter Lenora. Lenora showing she needs to learn to adapt herself as Jenna kept countering her with vicious hooks, till she landed an uppercut that smashed Lenora down to the canvas in the 5th and that was all she wrote. Jenna stating after the fight that she wants to go back to the FCBA to try and win the JMDD, she will probably be looking for the lightweight title in the BBU again. But she needs to get out the gates quicker in these types of fights; if Lenora had more power then she would have been in real trouble. She also showed though that she has a great base to work from in future, her guard was tight in the later rounds and her punches were pinpoint once she was warmed up. For Lorena; she needs simply easier fights to allow her to work on her technique, just marching forwards and brawling with get you so far, once you get caught though, your defence needs to be up to scratch and so far hers isn't. News that she wants Ann-Katherin Brommel in her next fight is a little worrying, she might catch her fellow country woman cold but the most likely outcome is a Brommel victory in my eyes.

Part 2: Tilly Keeper vs Jacqueline Jossa OK so as I have stated several times in the past month; me and soap operas are a no go, I can't tell you who these fighters characters are or much about the shows they are on currently.
What I can tell you is how good a fighter each of them is from this fight and Denise gave me a little back story to this feud both women have right now.
Basically it's the classic "used to be the best of friends, now the greatest of enemies" so much so that Jacqueline called Tilly a helping dog at Crufts of all places, seriously are these two still little girls? Doesn't Jacqueline have a little kid that would come up with crap like that?
*huff* OK so these two dislike each other, thankfully it did lead to a true grudge match feel to proceedings as Tilly flew out the gates, while Jacqueline used that unbridled rage against the rookie to counter her after letting Tilly punch herself out.
That lasted till round 3 when Jacqueline expecting another fruitless charge, instead was met by a jabbing attack that caught her flush on her chin and lips too many times then her corner team would have liked.
Tilly also smartly worked the body; after wasting so much energy in the early rounds, she had to sap some energy from Jacqueline, who started to look weaker as the rounds went on.
Round 5 saw both girls look tired; but Tilly looked to have recovered enough energy to batter Jacqueline back, her face a mess and when an uppercut caught her flush, well it was goodnight Mrs Jossa as she was done for the night.
After the fight; Tilly actually collared Jacqueline and put a leash on her in one of those scenes I'll never forget, it pretty much sums up Jacqueline's career as it has went to the dogs, though I hope no one else gets any ideas from this, Samia Ghadie comes to mind as being a big enough bytch to do this trick.
On the fighters; well Tilly boxed like a crazy person in the opening rounds, she seems to have good power but this was a hard fight to gauge, as Jacqueline seemed to be suffering the effects of fighting Fleur East only a week ago.
So the full scout report with have to wait, if you pressed me for a score out of 10, it would be a 2 for me and that could be very generous as it took 3 rounds for her to look like a boxer and not someone that should be fighting drunks behind a pub for money.
I urge her to listen to her coaches more and you know; learn to actually box with technique as that jab saved her night.
Jacqueline meanwhile is one of those heart breaking stories in the BBU, she is still young of course so could turn this around.
Considering she was one of the hottest prospects only a few years ago, it's such a shame to see how low she has become, losing to a rookie is not where she wants her career to be heading of course, I hope she can get into the gym, take a break from actually fighting and come back with a renewed purpose, sadly she just looks to be continuing down the path to her own ruin.

Part 3: Shona McGraty vs Charlie Brooks I do kinda know these two; Charlie a lot more of the two, which is worrying for Shona's career I'd say but Shona at least has success in the ring to go off, unlike Charlie, who is more a jobber in the ring then you'd believe her character in EastEnders would be.
It doesn't stop Charlie attack Shona verbally, with both claiming how badly they were going to kick each others arses, the usual effect in these fights with these two in the grudge match feel.
The fight itself saw Shona start off much quicker, working the body of Charlie to try and wear out the older woman and even used a jab that was missing from her last fight.
Charlie though clearly surprised the younger fighter by counter punching her; driving her back each time that Shona tried to step inside.
That clearly got Shona thinking as the fight slowed down to Charlie's pace, allowing her to work safely behind her jab and continue with the counter punching.
Till Shona picked it back up and really started to beat Charlie around the ring; knocking her down in the 5th, before finally finishing the fight in the 6th when Charlie was basically out on her feet.
Charlie would be made to kiss the backside of Shona as a humiliation for losing, honestly it doesn't bother me too much as Charlie has been made to do worse in the BBU after defeat I hear, just normally behind closed doors.
OK so where are we after this fight with both fighters? Well Charlie continues to be on the bottom rung of the BBU, something she'll never vacate if she is totally honest.
While Shona looked better then the Lacey fight, but the fact it took her 6 rounds was a little worrying, it comes down to not using her jab that much through the middle rounds, which allowed Charlie to time when she was loading up on punches.
There was improvement though that is the main thing; hopefully her new coach Jill Halfpenny is able to keep that going.

Final part: Samia Ghadie vs Amy-Leigh Hickman I wasn't interested at all in this fight to be honest in the build up, Samia and me have exchanged words about her post fight antics and Amy is just; well frankly who is she?
But you see after the fight, I was inundated with questions on the fight because of certain things that happened, so let's take the build up; nothing much to say other then Samia was her usual self.
The fight itself was embarrassing; well for Amy anyway! She didn't look like she had trained or just didn't want to fight, I mean what the hell was going on.
Samia from the first punch took control of the fight from the off, just bullying the youngster around the ring, who in turn threw what I can only call pandering punches because no way were they punches from a trained fighter.
In just 2 rounds; Samia had stopped the rookie in what to me wins beat down of the year, hell it should be named after Amy after this performance as I think she will be in Elizabeth Tan's class of being the biggest punch bag in her division, this case flyweight.
Then there was the big talking point; Samia humiliating the youngster after the fight to a sickening degree, I get the walk of shame, maybe even kissing of feet to make sure your rival knows whose boss in these fights.
But Samia as usual took it too far; where most people have a filter or at least a level they are prepared to go before stopping, she doesn't.
The most depressing aspect is that people expected me to rant and rave, I'd be screaming down the camera like a lunatic but frankly, I am not surprised by anything she does.
The biggest shock to me is how someone like Amy actually was allowed in the ring? Surely they noticed that she was afraid to get hit as she was a deer in the headlights, hopefully she either learns to take a punch or this is going to be one hell of a short career.
While my last word on Samia is that I still hope that she can get up to 100 fights in her career, she is a future hall of famer but I will hate that day.
That's today's show; hopefully it was a good show, thank you to everyone who tool the time to read these posts and hopefully we see you next Sunday.
