Third on today's show; we discuss the Mandy Capristo vs Frankie Bridge in German, which of these stunners would take home the big win?
Finally, we discuss the biggest debut to some people this week, Helen Skelton made her BBU debut against Louise Redknapp, could she make a statement in her first appearance?
In other news; the BBU PPV is coming this Wednesday, we hope that you guys will come and see it as 3 title fights headline a packed card.

Part 1: BBU flyweight title bout In a month that will see the BBU bantamweight, welterweight and JMDD title fight, the first championship fight in what should be dubbed a "golden month" saw Cheryl Cole defend the BBU flyweight title against Elizabeth Henstridge in Cheryl's hometown of Newcastle.
The fight was understandably viewed as massive by fans due in part of course to their star value, but their records I'd argue may have been a bigger lure as both have had a hell of a past 12 months!
Though listening to Cheryl in the prefight, you'd think that Elizabeth didn't deserve the shot, she showed no respect to the Sheffield lass, which I can tell you didn't go down well in the BBU TV offices when I spoke to Charlie Webster.
The fight itself was truly a big fight affair thanks to the crowd in part, the atmosphere was electric when Cheryl appeared, with Elizabeth the villain for probably the first time in her entire career.
Cheryl started off the fight the better; Elizabeth looked a little hesitant early on, maybe the pressure was getting to her as Cole was right at her.
Till Round 2 saw a shocker; Cheryl was put onto her backside by Elizabeth! An uppercut put Chezza down but certainly not out as Cheryl shoved her way up to her feet.
After that Cheryl got serious; the fighters both took rounds off each other and bloodied each other as they looked to take control of the fight.
Elizabeth looked the better through the middle of the fight with counter punches what she relied on, moving around the older fighter and smacking around her face.
Ironically it was an uppercut that turned the fight in round 7; Elizabeth was rattled and Cheryl of course threw everything at her challenger to bash her back.
Round 8 saw Elizabeth get finished off with body punches; Cheryl keeping her title in what was a great fight, the champ hurting but of course ecstatic that she had won.
For Elizabeth she needs to use this defeat to push her career forwards, she looked overawed early and when she did start to get her rhythm going, she did look great.
But Cheryl is the champion for a reason, it's not long ago she was whining to everyone that she wasn't getting any chances as she deserved, well she definitely proved that she wasn't full of it when you consider this was her third title defence and she is the undisputed pound for pound queen now.
Next up for Cheryl is Tiffany Mulheron; who has won the Contender 6 tournament, this is going to be a bout with a big story behind it, can the best in the BBU stop the "comeback kid" finishing her story off with gold around her waist?

Part 2: Doda vs Tamara Ecclestone This fight had to be simply dubbed a bytch fight purely on personalities, especially when one nickname is literally "Queen bytch" that being Doda.
Who is on a tear in the bantamweight division, while Tamara after a great start has begun to falter in her past few fights.
Though that didn't stop Tamara making her feelings known on the matter and on Doda plain for the world to see, with the verbal battle at the press conference having to be censored before hand, I can rightly say it deserved to.
The fight itself saw Tamara stun Doda from the off; clearly the Polish fighter expected Tamara would give way to her early as 90% of her opponents do to her.
In fact I'd argue the first half of the fight was all Tamara, not to say Doda didn't land anything of note because she did get in some great shots, Tamara though had marked up Doda's face to show how dominate she was.
But once Doda did get her punches working for her, the fight turned and the one piece of advice for any Doda opponent is don't let the pitbull like fighter off the leash when you have her on it because she'll rip you apart.
When Doda started to land her bombs on the tiring Tamara, she kept rocking the girl who hasn't been taken to the deep end really in her career.
Round 9 saw the end to the very physical fight; Doda put down Tamara with an uppercut and when she got back up, Doda used her killer instinct to finish it there and then with vicious hooks pounding the face of Tamara.
Doda was that worn out understandably after this fight, so there wasn't her usual nonsense it has to be said after the fight.
But I have to say; while me and Doda have had plenty of words over her personality, which isn't going to change any time soon, I want to throw my weight behind her getting a title shot someday soon.
Nadia Forde has earned that right, so this isn't me saying Doda should jump the queue, to act like Doda isn't in the running would be a mistake and frankly I think she will be the champion by the end of the year at the latest, that's my prediction that may come back to bite me in the arse.
Tamara though is funny to say the least; this was an awesome fight and she certainly played her part, it just seems that she has something missing, hopefully she can find it to click as she has shown she can go toe to toe with the best with this performance.

Part 3: Mandy Capristo vs Frankie Bridge Mandy and Frankie it has to be said are in tough situations, in Mandy's case she has the BBU flyweight champion Cheryl Cole and possible title contender Heidi Range as stablemates.
While Frankie has her Saturdays bandmates taking the limelight, like the former BBU bantamweight champ Una Healy and the elite fighter Mollie King to contend with.
So this fight was one that the winner could desperately use to further their argument why they deserve to be noticed; the loser would continue to be stuck in the shadows.
The fight itself saw both women fly out the gates, in the inside exchanges it was Frankie winning them to boos from the German fans, she clearly didn't care as she kept pounding Capristo back.
Surprisingly Mandy couldn't get her jab going, Frankie kept neutralizing her by coming right up the centre and pressuring the taller girl on the outside.
It got so bad that Mandy went down in round 4; the crowd noise I can honestly state was deathly silent, even as Mandy got up; they seemed to be as stunned as Mandy was.
Frankie though showed once again that she lacks a real killed instinct! She just threw everything at Mandy, who smartly ducked and dodged out the way, countering Bridge with stiff shots to knock her back.
By round 7 Mandy had got herself back into the fight and was punishing Frankie for not finishing the job, in fact she showed Frankie how it is done by putting her down and then forcing the referee to step in.
Now as we seem to argue all the time when there is a stoppage, was it a correct decision or was it too early?
My answer is I think it was somewhat early, but Frankie has to take the blame, she had the chance to shut up shop and blew it, so she can't complain when she is getting pounded into oblivion on the ropes.
On Mandy, to defend her somewhat, she hasn't had much work due to having stablemates that get more notice but she needs to improve on her performance to get more work.
Lucky for her; Gina Wild of the Black Eagles stable seems keen to use her old Lioness contacts to get Mandy on her German cards, which must go well with her own flyweights, I mean Gina is now getting Lioness and free agents to fill her cards hmm..
On Frankie; well I've already gave my advice on where she needs to improve, to be fair though I have to say she looked great and if she makes those changes then she should find herself in the big time, will she do it though?

Final Part: Helen Skelton vs Louise Redknapp First I want to say that Helen's debut caused a stir in BBU circles, our office was rife with debates on her Sports Relief boxing performance, I have had managers discuss with me about her, so this was going to be interesting, how would she do in a BBU ring?
Louise Redknapp was the girl put forwards to find out, Louise it has to be said is a very soft option, but let's be frank; how many fighters start near the top?
Both women looked confident as they chatted away about what they would do in the fight, Louise believed that Helen was all bark and no bite, something she promised to prove.
But when the fight took place; it was all Helen! Who looked as skillful here as she did in her charity fight, against Camilla Thurlow she looked technical sound if a little too keen at times, here she boxed beautifully to batter Louise.
Who looked lost at sea; each time Louise tried to apply pressure, her punches just found thin air, counter punches kept finding their mark time and again.
Till Helen had Louise down twice in round 2; the same time was the end of the fight as Louise spat her gumshield out and was done for the night.
While this was a fight she was certainly not expected to lose; Helen looked supreme with her accurate punching and movement, see the reason she is so highly rated off her two performances already is that she seems to have the basics down to a tee, you'd think that she had been fighting for years, not training only a few months!
Now of course there are questions; can she win in a brawl? When the pressure is on her, will she crumble? And so on and so forth as they say.
We know that Gina Wild has given her an opening on her next card, which part of me wants to warn Helen to be careful, I still might do that to be fair.
One last thing I want to throw out as I have heard it said several times in my debates on Helen's potential, so later this year she turns 35 years old, now yes that is old for a flyweight, the general consensus is that 35+ is when flyweights and bantamweights start to move out there prime.
My counter point is A) Helen has no battle scars yet to worry about and B) we are talking about a woman who has climbed mountains, rode bikes over many miles, did marathons around the world and now boxes.
She is extremely fit; so I don't see how she should be worrying as I don't see her having problems till she is 40, that does only mean 5 years where she could be a champion, but she has the character and build to dominate with the right backing in my eyes.
That's all for today's show; I hope you all enjoyed it and I want to say a big thank you to everyone who took the time to read these posts, hopefully we see you next Sunday for another edition of the Real View.
