Tom Hilton: Hello ladies and gentlemen; the BBU PPV has taken place this past week and as always plenty of talking points coming out from it.
We will be starting this weeks show by discussing the BBU JMD title fight between the challenger Lacey Banghard and the champion Holly Hagan, who came out with the diamond encrusted bra?
Then we discuss the fight between Jorgie Porter and Gemma Merna, both women are looking to be in the hunt for the flyweight title in what has to be said is a very crowded division.
Third on the show will be about Katie McGrath and Chloe Goodman, both stunning women have started their careers very well in the BBU, only one would come out with their head held high.
Finally; we talk about Georgia Salpa and Dua Lipa; Dua is having one hell of a hell, could she continue that when face with by far her biggest test?
I recommend that you guys go and read the BBU PPV before reading our opinions, it was a great card and it will be interesting to see where the winners will go from now.

Part 1: BBU JMD title fight Both the JMD and JMDD divisions are fresh in the BBU, but already plenty of buzz surrounds the division and being the champion in each division right now means you are forming it's legacy.
Lacey Banghard was looking to claim her first title in the BBU, she has been a woman that people have spoken highly off, sadly though it can be argued that she has become somewhat forgotten in the very densely packed flyweight division.
So this was a massive fight for her; a win in this fight would make sure that people like myself and I bet you our fans would be talking about her.
Holly meanwhile has had an eventful year, first claiming the gold in a shock win over the first ever champion Rosie Jones, then she joined Fight Club UK in a very public incident I'll say, so things were looking up for her.
So both came in expecting big things, the first round saw both get very physical as they traded bombs across the others jugs, with clearly both getting hurt by the looks on their faces and their jugs threatened to spill out.
As the fight progressed; it was clear that the power lay in Holly's gloves mostly down to her straddling the flyweight and bantamweight line, she was forcing Lacey onto the back foot.
Till Lacey changed things up; where clearly Holly had the advantage for power, Lacey certainly had it for speed, dipping and dodging the punches of the champion and countering her with punches that made people around me wince.
This was a short fight in terms of length as it only lasted part way through the third round; Lacey knocked Holly's left jug out of it's cup and mercilessly beat it, till the champion went down to her knees in tears and basically give up, giving the title to Lacey.
Who once the bell rang to end the fight; she quickly tackled Holly down to her back and begun humiliating her, till she ended it with a traditional jug smother that knocked Holly out, the crowd going wild as the PPV ended with Lacey on top.
So first Holly; she didn't silence any critics who claimed her title win was a fluke with this performance, it will be interesting to see how she steps out the shadows of this defeat and gets back into title contention.
While Lacey I know is still partying since she won the title, the most likely challenger is Cara De La Hoyde, who beat Imogen Thomas only last week, that should be some collision course it has to be said, so keep watch for that one, most likely on PPV.

Part 2: Jorgie Porter vs Gemma Merna When this fight was announced, I have to be honest and admit I was stunned; it is very well known that these two are best friends, even going on holiday together, it shows that sometimes business is as important as friendship.
The build up saw both praise the other, but as they admitted; this was a very important fight for both, Jorgie needed to win to show she can get into title contention, beating a former champ like Gemma certainly does that.
But Gemma it could be argued needed the win more, while 33 isn't old; Gemma has had 34 fights at this points, not many were against low ranked girls, so she has plenty boxing miles it and a win here would prove that she was still in the top echelon.
The opening round wasn't a barn stormed by any stretch, both were showing too much friendly urges for each other, as instead of going full blooded for each other, they most worked safely behind their guards and throwing single punches at a time.
Gemma it seemed sucked it up first and got into business mode, she landed some cracking straight and jabs as she eased off the handbrake more then her opponent, using her height to control the action helped a lot too.
It ended up with Jorgie being put on her backside in round 4, an uppercut put Jorgie on her backside and led to Gemma taking a good lead in the fight.
Back came Jorgie to her credit; after arguing with her coach Gail Kim in front of everyone in the BBU arena, she seemed to use some of her fire to take it to Gemma, leading to some great action in round 5.
Round 6 saw the end; Jorgie's speed and work rate proved too much for Gemma, who got hit way too cleanly by the quick hands of the smaller fight, who put her down and when Gemma tried to fight on, the referee smartly stepped in as she was out on her feet.
If you are a fan of both women, you can be happy that they hugged and seemed to be still best friends, they had done what both felt they needed to and came out as strong friendship wise as they had entered the ring.
But Gemma it has to be said should be asking herself questions; did she go to finish off Jorgie with her heart fully behind doing it, she had Jorgie hurt in round 4 as stated and didn't seem to go all out.
So where does Gemma go? Well I don't think she is done yet by any stretch, she might need to lower her sights for now, focus on getting a run under her, maybe fight her bitter rival Kara Tointon down the line and then focus on the sharks of the division if she does well.
Jorgie meanwhile showed heart to pull through this difficult fight from an emotional and physical standpoint, she is very fit and with regular in ring work, she is a top level fighter in my eyes.
The issue is can she keep getting scraps that benefit her? This did a lot for her and beating Chloe Moretz last year in one of their two fights seems to intricate that something is starting to click, can she go all the way to a title shot though?

Part 3: Katie McGrath vs Chloe Goodman This was an interesting fight to follow in the build up, it seems that these two took an instant dislike to each other, partly due to not rating the other in boxing, in their careers and maybe just as a person in general judging by their comments in the build up.
It is also of note that both are unbeaten so far, though Katie has a lot more experience and is only unbeaten in the BBU, to Chloe's one fight she has had, which Chloe lived up to her uppercut nickname.
The first round lived up to the grudge feel, both going straight for each other in the most exciting first round of the PPV, it got so physical that Chloe's bottom lip was bleeding, while Katie got a swollen eye due to a hell of a right punch at it.
Chloe seemed to have her bullseye to target, something she did as she landed an overhand right to Katie's left eye and McGrath had to cover up to protect it, leading to Goodman bullying her around the ring.
Till in round 4; Katie caught out Chloe with a vicious right to the body, Chloe looked a little stunned by the body shots that came her way, before making a mistake which Katie made her pay for with a stunning combo that ended with an uppercut that put Chloe down and out for the count.
Even after the fight; it should be said that there was needle between the two, the comments that came out from the fighters about the fight, saw them show a smidgen of respect and mostly bile about the other, so these two may clash again before we know it.
So let's get to the fighters; Chloe shouldn't be too disappointed, this was just her second fight and she did show some good stuff.
But she has to be more careful; I know it is hard when you get hurt to remember to cover up, but you have to try, Chloe didn't seem to know what to do and hopeful she learns from the experience.
Katie meanwhile has joined up with the Foxfire Atlantic boxing stable since the fight, that is a move that should make the top stars of the bantamweight take notice.
It has to be said that Katie still has work to do, but now with a top level coaching team behind her, she will improve and will get more fights now, so she might be a future champion if she takes this chance with both hands.

Final Part: Dua Lipa vs Georgia Salpa Every time an unbeaten fighter goes on a run to start their career; I have to be honest and say that I am always waiting for that moment when they slip up.
For Dua; I think several people thought Georgia may prove to be that step too far in her path, Georgia while struggling to break into the elite, has always had the potential in many peoples eyes to make the leap, so this was by far the biggest test for Dua.
The build up saw both women respectful but confident going into the fight, it showed early on as the fighters started off testing each other out, Georgia it could be argued started off the quicker in the opening round.
As the fight wore on; Georgia definitely took control of the fight with her aggressive style of the model pushed Dua back to the outside of the ring, this being the first time Dua fought someone her height, it showed as her low work rate was most likely down to her trying to work out how to get at Salpa.
But as Dua started to work out Georgia, she targeted the body of older fighter and with both bleeding from their noses after several brutal shots across them, it was clear both were hurting each other.
It was a counter left by Dua that put Georgia on the back foot, the singer stepping in to batter her opponent back, till an uppercut ended Georgia's night.
Afterwards Dua showed concern for Georgia, who seemed OK thankfully after going down hard, both look to have great respect for each other, though I am betting Georgia would love another crack at Dua soon enough.
For Georgia; she fought well but again something just didn't click for her to win, she needs to find that little extra to really push on with her career.
Dua meanwhile continues to push against the odds, that puts her record at 6 and 0 now, with news that her and Monika Pietrasinska will be meeting at the next PPV in only a few weeks time, it will be fun to see if this run can continue or if she will finally meet her match.
That is all we have time for this week, hopefully it was a fun show; thank you to everyone who took the time to read our posts, we will be back next Sunday with the next Real View episode.

Hi Tom, I'd say Gemma Merna still has an outside shot at the flyweight title but I see her as JMD regular from now on - both here and in the FCBA! Dua beating Georgia looks bigger than it actually is, I mean isn't Dua supposed to make a run at the title with Alessandra holding it hostage? And what about that Girls Friday roster? I've heard so many rumours about Dua... will she get that big money contract? Like when she finally beats Monika? Yours truly DVO
