Tom Hilton: Hello ladies and gentlemen; this week has seen a lot of homegrown talent get center stage, with action in Cardiff and Dublin.
We'll be starting this weeks episode by talking about the fight between Amy Willerton and Alicia Medina, both women are stunning models but can be vicious fighters.
Then we discuss the fight between Laura Whitmore and Kimberly Walsh, each wanted to set the record straight as I haven't been exactly nice about withers prospects lately.
Third up with talk about the action between Nadia Coyle and Hannah Tointon, neither has had much action lately, so it was interesting to see how things would play out, could Hannah get her first win or would Nadine get back that winning feeling?
Finally; Rozanne Purcell and Elena Santarelli stepped into the ring to try to step closer to the welterweight title, could Rozanne keep her unbeaten run going or would Elena put a stop to that.

Part 1: Amy Willerton vs Alicia Medina Amy has only recently became a Beever's Babe stable member, this being the first fight under the banner, it was always going to have all eyes on it to see how it would go.
Her debut opponent was the winless Alicia; which in itself was an interesting opponent as Amy isn't a rookie, winning half her fights of the 6 she has had.
But Alicia in her last fight claimed she had been suffering food poisoning and didn't want to upset the fans by cancelling it, so if true then we haven't seen the real Alicia yet.
The early action was quite even if you consider that Amy came out the blocks in round 1 quickly, very crisp with her punching and good movement, till Round 2 saw her defence show the leaky traits that has haunted her career so far, Alicia coming out the 2nd looking much the stronger.
Round 3 saw Alicia put her down; for the first time in her short career, we got to see the power of the Spanish stunner as she caught Amy cleanly with a right hook that put her opponent down to her side.
Alicia had control of the fight as Amy seemed affair to engage her after the knockdown, coach Denise Lewis was far from happy watching that and gave Amy one hell of a telling off going into the 5th round.
Where we saw Amy catch Alicia with a hard right hook; there was a definite wobble to the legs of Medina, with Willerton suddenly finding her confidence and came flying forwards.
Which led to a knockdown in round 6; Amy with a vicious left hook that took the legs from Alicia, who got up at 7, from ringside I could even see some glaze in those eyes, which Amy clearly didn't care about as she pounded her opponent with thudding punches catching Alicia in her face till she went down for the count.
The referee should have stepped in; in fact it might upset people including Alicia, but the referee should have stopped the fight when she got up after the knockdown, Alicia looked badly hurt and it ended up her getting unnecessary punishment that might have ended worse for her.
Happily Alicia did walk away under her steam, though she can't be happy with her performance, she did show flashes but that was more down to weaknesses of Amy then anything she really did, so I don't see her being a threat to ever being a top class fighter, I honestly believe we have seen her best now and it ain't great sadly.
While Amy needs to taking into the ring and work on her defensive skills, she looks awesome on the front foot, but to be so open is worrying, I know Denise is very worried and I believe it will improve, just by how much though?

Part 2: Laura Whitmore vs Kimberly Walsh This was a fight that was far from oblivious who'd win based on results lately, with one finally winning to start moving in the right direction in Laura and Kimberly came into this fight looking to get back in the win column.
There was extra pressure for Laura as she was fighting with a home field advantage, but Kimberly I have to say didn't look one bit worried from when I saw her around the hotel the night before, then on fight night itself as she strutted to the ring under a volley of boos.
Which was explained early on in the actual fight, as Laura wasn't much of a threat it seemed if the early rounds were a sample of what was going to happen.
Round 3 saw the worst round for Laura; she got put down by an overhand right after her body took a vicious shot, she took the count smartly it has to be said, though the fans were not exactly rushing to applaud her performance.
It took till round 5 for Laura to do anything meaningful to get into the fight, a right hook caught Kimberly out and allowed Laura to start powering forwards with a flurry of punches knocking Kimberly onto her heels.
I can tell you it is one of the strangest things to be in an arena or stadium that is silent for long periods, then the wall of volume from the crowd hits you as the fans got back behind Laura to finish it before it got to the scorecards.
Round 7 was where Laura finally pulled the trigger, first putting Kimberly down with a barrage of hooks, then she would finish off Kimberly on the ropes as the referee stepped in to pull her off the broken down singer.
So Laura gets another win to keep this little run she is on going; I still didn't see much though to really make me see her going far in this fight.
The only thing I will give her is that she has a lot of heart to get up, I have seen her get up again in earlier fights that she would go on to lose, so toughness and heart isn't a worry.
But she was outboxed from the opening bell by Kimberly, which if you have seen the two before, that was always going to happen, with Kimberly tiring put before she could finish the job.
To be frank; Kimberly looks broken, her loss to Olympia Valance earlier in the year seems to have been the signal that things are not right physical with her, she looked great over 5 rounds, she looked exhausted and looked slow to boot, very worrying for her team.

Part 3: Nadine Coyle vs Hannah Tointon So I found out off Nadine in the build up to the fight that it was actually on her birthday, I'd have gotten her a little gift probably with Denise's help if I had known, since Nadine is a good person outside the ring from our experience.
It has to be said her opponent Hannah can be nice too but both share an edge to them or maybe chip on the shoulder is a better way of describing it, with Nadine stuck in her bitter enemy and ironically stablemate Cheryl Cole, while Hannah lives in her big sister Kara's shadows.
Both women showed a lot of ring rust to start, neither really going for the other with any real venom as they mostly settled for trading single punches then throwing punches in bunches.
Round 3 saw the action heat up as ironically Hannah landed the first truly hard punch of the fight and seemed to switch Nadine on to fight harder.
That led to the downfall of Hannah; who all her weaknesses she has shown throughout her career manifested again, leading to her being put down in the 5th by a great uppercut.
Hannah did make it to her feet, where she looked to retreat and survive, but Nadine looked to have that fire back and finished off Hannah as the referee had to stop what was a vicious beating.
So Nadine is back in the ring and on the winning side of things; though she has to really get into the ring on a regular bases to get into shape again, most times she'd probably have lost.
But Hannah it has to be said is simply struck in Jobberville, she didn't have the confidence to hurt Nadine from the off and it led to her downfall, so I don't know where she goes from here.

Final part: Rozanne Purcell vs Elena Santarelli Irish welterweight boxing seems to be on a high; with Rozanne and Vogue Williams both starting their careers off on fire and are seemingly on a collision course.
First though Rozanne had to go through Elena; who is one of the tallest fighters in the division and has shown that she can beat good fighters with her power.
Once that bell rang; it was all Rozanne from the get go, first annoying Elena with punches across the jugs of the taller woman, making Elena open up more to try to crack her with hooks.
Rozanne simply would dip under them; work the body and simply bully Elena around the ring, with Italian model couldn't seem to handle the fire she was under.
It led to a knockdown in round 3; 2 uppercuts caught Elena flush to put her on her back, Elena got up and was promptly beaten up with hooks till she collapsed to the canvas and was counted out.
Rozanne really looked awesome in this victory, though I guess Vogue won't be singing her praises right now, with the Irish fans of the BBU must be loving this right now, 2 women who could become the welterweight champion if they can keep this form up.
The question is still; can Rozanne step up to the plate against the higher level fighters? Elena isn't a low level fighter but she is in a slump, so keep watch for that next step up.
Elena meanwhile will be hitting the gym hard I hope after this fight, she needs to work on her footwork and try to work on her fundamentals once again to recapture some glory, though that seems to be going quickly.
That's sadly the end of today's show; I hope it was an enjoyable one and thank you to everyone who took the time to read these posts, remember the next episode of the Real View will be next Sunday.
