Tom Hilton:Hello ladies and gentlemen; this weeks episode will be focused on the BBU PPV that happened on Wednesday, which if you haven't read the fights there, I suggest you go to read them and then come back and read these posts. OK so for those who have, we will be discussing the BBU bantamweight title fight between Nadia Forde and Helen Flanagan, did Nadia take the title off Helen or did the champion stay on top? Second on the show, we then focus on the welterweight title fight, Joan Smalls was looking to defend her title and keep her unbeaten record against Tamsin Egerton, who was looking to cause the upset. Third up is about Ashley Benson and Tiffany Mulheron, a fight that certainly encapsulated the crossover theme as it was a battle of international sister stables in this one. Finally we talk the fight between two underrated fighters, Helena Matteson and Emmy Rossum, with the winner surely getting into the notice of the lightweight champion. In other news, we found out that Kelly Brook and Kate Upton will be fighting five times to complete their best of seven series, the first fight will be a body paint bout that will be happening here on Wednesday, so keep your eyes open for that fight.

Part 1: BBU bantamweight title fight Nadia Forde has proven that stepping down a weight hasn't hurt her power one bit, marching through the bantamweight division in the number 1 contendership tournament, beating Rachel Riley to earn this shot.
While the champion Helen Flanagan has been one of the surprise packages of the year, beating Lea Seydoux to win the title in one of the upsets of the year, then beating Jennifer Metcalfe to keep the title.
Before women came out hard; Helen looking to get in close early to work on Nadia's body, with Nadia using her reach to keep the smaller fighter back.
Nadia took control of the fight with her punches knocking Helen back around the outside, it looked like a new version of the Irish girl; who normally loves to get stuck in tight.
Helen came back at her with her punches catching Nadia onto her chin after slipping under her challengers punches, starting to get back into the fight.
Back and forth went the fighters; till in the sixth round, Helen slipped under a left cross and caught Nadia flush with an uppercut that put her onto jelly legs, the follow up hooks put her down for the count.
The champion rubbed in her victory afterwards and nearly caused a fight with Nadia's friend Kelly Gale, who'd been there to support Nadia in her attempt at the gold.
Nadia I suspect will get another title shot someday, she has great power as proven by her one punch knockouts, she just maybe went about this fight the wrong way, she tried to be more a boxer then a brawler.
But nothing can be taken away from Helen; she has shown this year that she has fulfilled the potential people saw in her, though admittedly it didn't look like she was going to make it to the elite for awhile, now she is the champion and I can say is the best in the division right now.

Part 2: BBU welterweight title fight Tamsin Egerton was looking to claim the welterweight title off of the champion Joan Smalls on the last PPV, with Tamsin seen as a light touch by some.
The challenger came in with several good wins under her belt to get this shot, but Joan was unbeaten after seven fights and in her last two fights had beaten two unbeaten fighters in Jourdan Dunn and Petra Nemcova.
It looked like my prediction of an easy night would come true as Joan rocked Tamsin in the opening rock and looked in control through the early part of the fight.
But maybe arrogance from the champ or Tamsin had changed things up enough to start bothering the model, it was actually looking like the upset might happen.
Tamsin though got caught out as her nose got busted open, it looked to take all the fight out of her as Joan pushed forwards with her punches pounding her head back.
It ended up in the seventh with Tamsin slammed to her face and an uppercut finished her night as she was clean knocked out.
Tamsin had to be carried out as she was still dazed from the knockout, showing how brutal the finish was for her.
Joan has plenty of big named challengers she could fight, maybe Kelly Brook or Doutzen Kroes could be up for the challenge on the veteran side of things, with the unbeaten Toni Garrn and ACB welterweight champion Jestina Campbell on the other side of the coin.
While Tamsin should use this fight as a way to motivate herself back into title contention, she has shown she can box as good as anyone, just maybe lacks the boxing smarts to adapt quick enough when in trouble, a full time coach would be able to help that problem.

Part 3: Ashley Benson vs Tiffany Mulheron The whole friendly rivalry between sister stables has always interested me, we've seen girls switch stables owned by the same management team, it must be strange seeing girls you once fought as enemies suddenly your friends.
Ashley and Tiffany are both tough blondes, Ashley is in the Pretty Little Punchers and Tiffany in the Foxfire Atlantic Boxing stable, both sister stables to each other.
Yet the build up saw Ashley look cool and relaxed, she was full of jokes compared to the cold Tiffany, who was not looking happy being in the presence of Ashley.
The fight itself was a hard hitting affair, with the opening round being one of those classics you had to see in person, neither wanted to give up an inch to the other.
Tiffany would go back to her bread and butter after that, using her jab and footwork to keep Ashley on the outside, with Tiffany sneaking in several punches to the jugs of her opponent to annoy her even more.
Ashley showed her smarts to switch things up; using her speed to dodge and counter the older fighter, drilling her fists into the chin of opponent.
In round 5; Ashley smacked Tiffany across her chin with two vicious punches, that stunned the Scottish lass and left her open to an uppercut and a right hook that put Tiffany down for the count.
Tiffany has done excellent since her comeback, so I won't be doubting her yet over this defeat, but she will need to get a win soon to keep her on the hunt for the title.
The big news out the fight is that Ashley is considering staying in the BBU longer, she would be great to see continue around her and would certainly add to the headache of picking opponents for the BBU flyweight champ Cheryl Cole, who already has a big selection of challengers as it is.

Final Part: Helena Mattsson vs Emmy Rossum These are two of the most underrated fighters in the lightweight division, so it was interesting to see them pitted against each other.
Helena doesn't get as many fights as she should do, but she has a great record of thirteen wins and seven defeats, with wins over girls like Kelly Gale.
While Emmy has a losing record, but considering her last defeat that shouldn't have been a one against Nadia Forde, she has had a lot of bad luck in her career.
Emmy looked to outwork Helena early on; Helena though kept her guard tight to block the punches and counter straight punches to the face of Rossum.
It became clear early that Emmy was too one dimensional in her style, using the jab is great; using it only in one place leads to being too easy to read, which led to Emmy to being beaten to the body after being parried.
Round four saw Helena really up the tempo, beating Emmy across her face till she had her pinned in a corner, an uppercut put Emmy down for the count.
Emmy was found out badly here, it has to be asked if the defeats she has suffered has effected her, she had looked better in past fights but looked lost her.
While Helena has certainly got herself into title contention in my eyes, though there are plenty of fighters who want that honour too, Alessandra Ambrosio better watch out for this power puncher in the future.
That's sadly all the time we have, thank you to everyone who took the time to read these posts, the next episode of the Real View will be next Sunday as usual.
