Tom Hilton: Hello ladies and gentlemen; the BBU this week stepped into York Hall for all of it's action, several of the local talents got to showcase their talents in front of their fans.
We'll be starting off this week talking about Lily Allen and Samia Ghadie, could Lily give her fans something to cheer or did the hall of famer Samia prove dominant?
Then we talk about Ivana Baquero and Fiona Wade, one wants to be in the flyweight title hunt, the other wants to spoil that and get back onto the winners podium after a bad last fight.
Thirdly we discuss the Vera Brezhneva vs Kate Lawler fight, two blondes who love to fight, only one could reign supreme though.
Finally we talk about Jourdan Dunn taking on the returning after a long lay off Suranne Jones, could Suranne upset the odds?
In other news; the BBU PPV was announced and the main story was Dua Lipa is putting her undefeated streak on the line to try and claim the BBU lightweight title off of Alessandra Ambrosio on Wednesday 29th August.

Part 1: Lily Allen vs Samia Ghadie I have to say that I am not a fan of either woman straight away, so this wasn't a dream match for me but I can see why people would love to see these two beat each other up.
*Takes a deep breath* OK so let's get down to the fight, the build up was fiery, both swearing (literally) on how they were going to knock the other out.
The fight itself showed why Samia is a hall of famer, early on she outboxed Lily quite easily as she danced around her and countered the more aggressive Lily.
But Lily would catch Samia and wouldn't let her opponent off the hook, hammering Samia around the outside the ring.
As Samia got cut above her left eye, that spelled doom for her as Lily kept hitting it, which led to her getting to clinch and getting caught with an uppercut and left hook that put her to sleep.
Lily getting the win here as she tries to get a fight with Cheryl Cole for the BBU flyweight title, though there are plenty of other women after that honour too, so that's a story in itself to follow.
For Samia; well she has shown she can still win in the ring, so I won't say she is finished in that regard, she has to find something extra though to get back on top because currently she isn't anywhere near the elite right now.

Part 2: Ivana Baquero vs Fiona Wade This was the other flyweight fight in York Hall, with Ivana wanting to use this fight to do like Lily Allen and get the attention of flyweight champ Cheryl Cole.
While Fiona last time she stepped into the ring was humiliated by Roxanne Pallett in a barn boxing fight, this fight was all about getting back into winning form for her.
This was an interesting fight from a tactical standpoint, Ivana normally likes to bully her opponents, this time she found herself being forced back as Fiona was all about keeping in tight.
It seemed to work for Fiona as she won the first two rounds, with Ivana only able to land counter punches mostly.
But Ivana stepped up a gear and Fiona couldn't contain the youngster any longer, till Ivana knocked out Fiona out shockingly in the fourth round with a vicious combo.
This puts Ivana up to 8 straight wins, with names like Jenna Louise Coleman in that list of names, but with her not entering the contender 6 tournament earlier this year, maybe the rest of the names on the list are nothing to shout about compared to other top flyweights this year.
Fiona on the other hand has bigger problems to worry about, she is a good boxer but I hate to be that guy, she came into the BBU too late to make a sustained push to the top, instead she is a gatekeeper at best right now.
The thing to keep watch on is who will Cheryl Cole chose when her next defence comes up? I mean you have Lily Allen, Ivana Baquero, former champion Jenna Louise Coleman, I'd argue Diana Korkunova as well could be in the list of challengers in a truly packed division.

Part 3: Vera Brezhneva vs Kate Lawler This was a fight I was looking forwards too, both women love to scrap and well if people haven't forgotten, I did have Kate on my team when we did the Real View vs BBU TV special, so as much as she isn't my favourite person, she can fight.
Vera meanwhile has been a revelation since joining the BBU, ripping her way through most of the bantamweight division, with only Doda to beat her so far.
Kate was her usual brash self in the build up, I will give her that she looks physically impressive with all the hard work in the gym I've heard about.
The fight itself started as a brawlers dream, neither wanted to give the other an inch as they got straight into the other woman's face.
Kate took the early action though as she made the fight scruffy, little nudges and such gave her openings that she exploited to drive Vera back.
Till Vera realised she had to change things up or get her lights put out, with Kate continuing to blindly keep pushing forwards.
That was when Vera busted the nose of Kate open, that seemed to knock Kate out of her game and like a shark smelling blood in the water, Vera just ate up Kate with brutal punches knocking the Brits head around.
It ended up with Kate being knocked out in the fifth by two power hooks that would take down most women, all Kate could do was lay on her back as she was counted out.
I'll start with Kate first; this is something she needs to use as a learning curve, she won't bully everyone around, she needs to work on her basic skills to be a top fight, I mean she has the physical side sorted and she is tough, that one thing is keeping her down though.
Now to Vera; well the BBU bantamweight champion Helen Flanagan was watching the fight, Vera got into her face after the fight to make it known that she wants the title.
I know one person who has to be pissed off right now by that exchange, Doda is definitely in the hunt with the list of names she has on her CV over the past year, so I would endorse her getting the next title shot, we'll have to wait and see what happens.

Final Part: Jourdan Dunn vs Suranne Jones I have been waiting to see what Jourdan would do next, I'll admit that Suranne Jones wasn't someone I had in mind for her first fight after losing the welterweight title tournament final.
In Suranne's defence; she is known for her toughness, the big issue was her last fight was 3 years ago, so could she prove a stern test for Jourdan?
The answer came quickly as Jourdan straight away brutalized Suranne with her range and height advantages, Suranne wasn't quick enough to close the gap.
Jourdan only needed two rounds to finish the job, knocking out Suranne with a vicious right hook that sent Suranne tumbling down the ropes that were holding her up.
While this fight taught us nothing we didn't know, at least it should get rid of any demons Jourdan had from the title fight and got her back into the gym to train.
The next fight should be a big upgrade as she looks to get another crack at that title, maybe a Karen Gillan or Alex Gerrard level fighter should be on her hit list.
Suranne I hope was paid well to step into the ring for this, the only other fight I can see her in is taking on her bitter rival Lucy Pargeter, which judging by Lucy's inactive won't be happening anytime soon.
That's all we have this week, thank you to everyone who took the time to read the posts, hopefully we will see you back next Sunday for the next Real View episode.
