Tom Hilton: Hello ladies and gentlemen, this week saw our Australian sister organization put on a massive card this past Wednesday, so that is what today's show will be all about.
Starting off with the ACB flyweight title; could Dannii Minogue turn back the clock and claim the title from Bonnie Sveen?
Then we move onto the ACB welterweight title fight; Erika Heynatz claimed to be the true champion, could she take the title from Jesinta Campbell?
Third on today's show; the ACB lightweight title was the third title fight on the card, Mallory Jansen defended the title against Jodi Gordon in a hard back and forth battle.
Finally we talk about maybe the most star studded fight of the week, Hollywood actress Isla Fisher fought Soap star Kym Valentine.
In other news; the BBU Ryder cup takes place tomorrow, can Team Europe do the double in Ryder cups this year or can team USA win the cup? Make sure to find out guys.

Part 1: ACB flyweight title fight With the ACB holding a card for the first time in a while, this was the fight that had most people talking, old vs young and all that as Dannii Minogue looked to reclaim glory at the age of 46 against the champion Bonnie Sveen; who is 29.
This had been brewing for awhile; it started with Bonnie saying she needed a big win to justify her success so far in her career.
Step forwards Dannii; a former champion and one of the very rare women to hold two victories over our current BBU flyweight champion Cheryl Cole.
But there was no love lost in the build up; Dannii claiming Bonnie is a nobody and a dime a dozen fighter, Bonnie calling Dannii a jealous old hag, with both throwing more let's say venomous insults too I won't put on here.
Fighting time and Dannii showed her experience to come out the gates quickly; staying away from that dangerous right hand of the champs, she boxed around her and keeping Bonnie flustered.
Once Bonnie did catch Dannii, the challenger wisely slowed her offence with clinches, it was far from a pretty fight, but Dannii wouldn't care as long as the title came home with her.
The power of Bonnie proved too much though, the champion adapted well as she started catching Dannii more and more, till she smashed her against the ropes and in the end; she simply walked through the challenger with a pounding barrage of punches knocking the Aussie future hall of famer out.
It was by one of the hardest fights in Bonnie's career, there will be questions due to the age difference why Bonnie wasn't able to mow down Dannii in the opening rounds.
Dannii deserves a lot of credit though, a lot of young fighters should watch how she game planned this and was smart with the way she came at Bonnie.
I sadly also know that there will be talk of Dannii retiring after a big defeat, word from her camp is that isn't on the table so far, still plenty of golden fights was the reply, so we'll have to see what that means.
For the champion; well plenty of women will be after that title, I mean off head you have former champion Penny Higgs, Samara Weaving and Rhiannon Fish, with other fighters coming through, so don't think Bonnie will be able to rest on this win.

Part 2: ACB welterweight title fight Like the flyweight title fight; this was somewhat a legacy fight for the champion, who had won the title when it was vacant against Delta Goodrem.
Well the former champion and one of the greatest welterweight fighters in the world, Erika Heynatz was desperate to win it back, claiming she should never have had the title taken off her in the first place.
Plenty of hate in this one; Jesinta decided to give Erika a shot to prove she did deserve the title, Erika though showed her no respect in the build up as she was too busy claiming she was going to right the wrong done to her.
The opening round was probably the best of the night, both showed what they are capable of, Erika with precise punches as she boxed on the outside, Jesinta the faster handed and fleet footed of the two, making it a very even round.
Back and forth went the action; Jesinta taking round 2 as she got straight into the face of her opponent and forced Erika in round 3 to adapt, which Heynatz did to win that round with great counter punching.
Jesinta's speed though proved the killer for Erika; the champion showed quick wits to dodge and move inside to hurt the challenger, coming up with several big punches to push Erika onto the back foot.
It ended after Erika's nose was bloodied; Jesinta's hand speed allowed her to keep piercing the guard and opened it up for a big right hook that had Erika flat on her back, stumbling around when she tried to get up.
This knockout has proven that Jesinta is the undisputed champion of the ACB welterweights, though no sleep for her as she has a rematch with Delta Goodrem, one she promised to honour herself.
If Jesinta can pass that test again and arguably another, she might find herself soon taking on our own BBU welterweight champion in Joan Smalls, that would be a blockbuster fight due to the whole champ vs champ angle.
Erika meanwhile can't complain anymore, she was second best here; even after pushing the champion early, it wasn't enough to get the win though, but don't expect her to be done, plenty of ACB girls may finally want a crack at her as she has now shown she is human after all in the ring.

Part 3: ACB lightweight title fight Mallory Jansen has been an interesting champion, in only her second fight she disposed of Poppy Montgomery to claim the belt, this was only her fourth fight.
Management for her seems smart as they put her in the ring with Jodi Gordon, a woman who also was having her fourth fight, though unlike the champion she had one defeat on her record.
Jodi though was very confident in the build up; claiming to have fought the harder schedule and learned through hard knocks how to be great, unlike Mallory who she claimed was trying to take the easy road to the top.
Mallory of course disputed that, claiming her big goal was a shot at BBU champion Alessandra Ambrosio and not long after that, a crack at whoever the FCBA champion will be.
As the fight begun; it was clear that Jodi's tactics were to put the champion under trial by fire, blitzing up the middle to catch the champion out cold.
The opening rounds saw Jodi take them by keeping Mallory under wraps, the champ couldn't fire back without being whacked by power punches to hurt her.
Mallory though changed up her strategy and looked to step up a gear; putting Jodi down in the third to the stunned silence of the crowd, Jodi fought her way back to her feet and Jansen hammered her back around the ring the rest of that round.
The champ started to look comfortable, keeping Jodi behind her guard as the confidence seemed to be sucked out of Jodi after that knockdown.
But what was proving a shocking fight; Jodi put down Mallory with a great counter uppercut, Mallory needed to find something to get up as this was certainly the biggest test for her.
Jodi tried to build off that success, she couldn't find the big punch needed though and Mallory simply outboxed her till she found herself with a bloody nose and hooks raining down on her head to put her down for the count in the seventh.
While Mallory will brag about this win for a while, she deserves to for the record, Jodi deserves credit too, she gave Mallory everything and maybe just lacks that little extra power to knock someone out with one punch that cost her this fight.
Mallory on the other hand finally got to see how far she still has to go to be the elite fighter she claims to want to be, she also lacks that big punch but has a great engine it seems and that is what she is going to have to rely on.
I'm not her coach, but if I were them; I'd focus on her hand speed and footwork, both were what got her out of trouble in this fight.
But the big hitters of the division, like Krystal Forscutt, Miranda Kerr and Abbie Cornish must be looking at Mallory as easy pickings right now, so she has to step up a level before she gets devoured by the big fish in future.

Final part: Isla Fisher vs Kym Valentine Of all the fights on Wednesdays ACB card; this was probably the one with the biggest star power, Isla of course has her Hollywood roots and Kym was a big star on Neighbours.
Though neither has had a good career in the boxing ring, now is most likely too late for them to do anything major in the sport but improve their records before retirement.
This was a barn storming fight, the fighters went toe to toe from the opening bell, with Kym putting Isla down to the canvas with a hard right, with Isla needing to pull herself up to her feet right away.
In round 2; Isla started to counter punch Kym, bursting the bottom lip of the soap star and allowing her to punish her opponent.
Kym couldn't deal with the speed of Fisher; who kept knocking her back and in the end after going down in the fourth, Isla finished the job as the referee had to step in to stop the fight as Kym couldn't defend herself.
This was a bad defeat for Kym; begging the question where she goes from here, if she does continue on I don't see her being able to find another win.
While Isla has done well in this fight, she will probably have to stay at this level to keep up her run of wins, she showed good skills but she will always be seen as soft, which is a hard rep to overcome.
That's all we have time for folks, thank you for viewing today's show, I hope you enjoyed it and we see you comeback for the next episode next Sunday.
