Tom Hilton: Hello ladies and gentlemen, this week was PPV week, a time where old scores are settled and titles are up for grabs, this was a big PPV for the BBU.
The first part of our show will be discussing the main event of the PPV, the BBU flyweight title was on the line as Marnie Simpson looked to claim the title from Cheryl Cole.
We then move onto the BBU JMD number 1 contenders fight between old bitter rivals Katie Price and Lucy Pinder, only one could go on to challenge Lacey Banghard for the diamond encrusted bra.
Thirdly we will discuss the fight between Diana Korkunova and Jade Thirlwall, it looked to have a bearing on who possibly would move on to challenge for the flyweight title in future.
In a similar vein we finish the show off by discussing the Zara Holland vs Ola Jordan fight, this was a fight where both needed to impress against tough opposition to have a chance of being in that flyweight title mix.
In other quick news, we have been assured the delayed Ryder cup card will be up tomorrow, some big fights make up the BBU version of Team USA vs Team Europe, who will prove dominant when all is said and done?

Part 1: BBU flyweight title fight Marnie Simpson challenges for the title on Wednesday against her fellow Geordie Cheryl Cole in their heartland of Newcastle, I can tell you from the time I spent in the city, it was buzzing for this fight.
I have to say I didn't give Marnie much chance when I previewed this fight, I'll give her credit though for the way she showed no fear of the situation, in fact she tried to get into Cheryl's face, leading to a catfight in the build up between them.
That spirit was evident on fight night; where Marnie went in hard but Cheryl started off the better due to her experience, she read Marnie perfectly and counted the wild shots thrown at her.
Till Marnie seemed to take her coaches advice, she relied more on her jab and when Cheryl made a mistake, she gave a big warning to her with a big two punch combo showing her power off to put the champ sprawling on her backside.
Marnie would shockingly bully the champion around the ring, keeping Cheryl at a safe distance and landing stiff punches to her face to keep her back.
But Cheryl showed why she is truly an elite fighter; coming back at Marnie with great body shots opening the younger fighter up.
Back and forth went the fight as neither understandably didn't want to lose this very important fight, it was hard to tell who was going to win.
A cut made the difference; Cheryl cut above the left eye of Marnie, which led to Cheryl opening up Marnie and she finished the fight with a brutal right on the button to end Simpson's title hopes in the eighth.
I know that this defeat has to hurt right now, but Marnie gave a great performance that me and many of her critics food for thought, she proved that she can hold her on with the best in the world.
While Cheryl continues to prove why she is truly a legend, she continues to be the standard bearer of the British fighters, people like Michelle Keegan and Roxanne Pallett need to step up if they are to reach her level.
Plenty of women will be hoping they saw enough cracks in Cheryl to beat her, I'll be talking about two possible contenders later who will be wanting the next in line.

Part 2: Katie Price vs Lucy Pinder JMD This fight was a number 1 contenders bout for the BBU JMD title currently held by Lacey Banghard, adding to the fact these are two of Britain's legendary page 3 models that have expended out well from those pages.
They had fought all the way back in 2015 with Katie winning that encounter, so she had the bragging rights going into this fight.
Though Lucy looked to repay her for that defeat, she was fired up when she spoke to us and other media in the build up.
Katie though started the fight off the quicker in the hard hitting contest, pushing Lucy back with straight punches and keeping on the move.
But Lucy would find a hole in the defences of Katie, she hurt her left breast with an uppercut and kept targeting it till Katie couldn't take any more.
Lucy sent a message to Katie and the champ with her humiliation of her rival, making Katie admit that Lucy was the better woman with a little coaxing.
Katie may have to start considering taking more of a hands on role with her management, which I have not been a fan of admittedly, but maybe if she focused less on getting herself in the ring and more on her talent she'd have a more successful stable.
While Lucy vs Lacey Banghard is already getting buzz from insiders, I won't reveal who in the This is Glamour stable told me that those two have been at each others throats for awhile, so them going at it for the title will be interesting.

Part 3: Diana Korkunova vs Jade Thirlwall Both of these young women have to be classed as potential champions, Diana was our rookie of last year, while Jade has a win over our current champion Cheryl Cole.
This year has seen Diana take a big step up since her rookie year, she entered the contender 6 tournament at the beginning of the year, ending it with a positive record and getting a massive win over the winner Tiffany Mulheron, she has kept stepping up since then.
While Jade has had a somewhat mixed year, she started off well but Cheryl Cole derailed her run in a title fight, so beating Diana would quickly get her back to that promised land.
Jade seemed to look down on Diana as they stepped in the ring, Diana looked her usual friendly self but that changes when the bell rings.
The speed and elusiveness of Jade allowed her to control the early action, Diana normally great at using precise jabs but Jade is a great defensive fighter with her movement.
Round 4 saw Diana adapt to the situation; she forced Jade to come to her, keeping herself low to catch the Geordie with hooks to rock her back.
But Jade would put down Diana with a clean shot to the body, making the model have to take a knee and a breath, I can tell you the Sirens corner team were holding their breaths too over it.
Jade though would make a mistake surprisingly, maybe that defeat to Cheryl had done more damage to the confidence of Thirlwall, she rushed her attack instead of timing it.
That mistake would lead to Diana being able to cut the cheek of Jade, something that opened up Jade to punishing punches till she got put down by brutal hooks, Jade got up but was stopped on the ropes as the referee stepped in to stop the beating she was taking.
It was strange to see both women go down to their backs when the fight ended, both were spent in a hell of a fight between the two women, Diana smiling compared to the tears streaming out of Jade's eyes.
I won't between these two will be friends after this, plenty of respect though between them I bet now after this fight.
Jade should take heart from this fight, I know she will probably be hurting physical and mentally but she put in one hell of an effort and if she hadn't rushed things in the sixth, she'd have won this fight.
Diana meanwhile has to right now the front of the queue for a flyweight title shot, I think very highly of her if you haven't seen us discussing her, she could be the one to dethrone Cheryl in a honesty due to her speed and reach over the champ.

Final part: Zara Holland vs Ola Jordan We previewed this fight the week before and called it the most interesting fight going into the PPV, it didn't mean that it might be the best fight of the night, but it was the one that would show where they both stand in the division.
Zara is seen as one of the great prospects in the BBU, she is a former miss GB so is a natural born winner it has to be said, something she has done a lot of in the ring.
This was her toughest test so far; Ola has been a strong fighter but has struggle to find that little extra to step to claim the gold, it certainly isn't fitness or her footwork, it's always been hard to pinpoint what is missing.
The fight itself started off in a way not many of us thought, maybe Ola wanted to catch Zara off guard as much as she did us by coming straight up the middle, something we though Zara would.
Those opening rounds were stunning to watch, Ola really put Zara under pressure, something not seen since Zara's debut fight; one I might add she lost, so was the plan going to work?
Well round three saw Ola put down her opponent with a right that landed across the nose of the pageant winner, I'll admit I was writing in my head that Zara has been found out by the dancer.
But as anyone knows who follows boxing; one punch can change a fight, Ola left a gap once and Zara opened the door wide open with a blasting right in the fourth that put down Jordan.
Blood started to run from the nose of Ola as Zara really turned the screw on her, battering the older fighter till she finally put her down for the count in the fifth round.
Zara proclaimed she deserves a title shot, while she has the results to back up a challenge and showed dangerous power to win this fight, she still seems a little off the elite pace to become the champion.
But maybe I am writing her off too soon for that, she has improved under her management and those dynamite fists might get her the gold sooner then I can see happening.
Ola on the other hand had this fight won, the issue is knockout power if this fight is anything to go by, she made one fatal mistake in this fight and now she is back to the middle of the pack, which is a hard place to escape from with the level of talent in the BBU flyweight division right now.
That's all we have time for folks, I hope you have had a great time reading these posts, thank you to everyone who follows this and the rest of the BBU.
