And I am proud to say my co-host tonight is my colleague from the Real View offices, Michelle Joy Phelps! Michelle: thank you Molly, I think we can both agree that the past year was crazy; with super fights, bitter rivalries and stunning shocks that even now I can't believe I witnessed. To show our love to the fighters of the BBU, we have a bunch of awards to hand out, this is the list that the stars will be hoping to win. *Rookie of the Year* *Flyweight of the Year* *Bantamweight of the Year* *Lightweight of the Year* *Welterweight of the Year* *Viewers fight of the Year* *Viewers fighter of the Year* *Managers fight of the Year* And *Managers fighter of the Year*Molly: but first after a commercial break; we will be honouring two more pioneers of the BBU as we induct them into the Real View BBU Hall of Fame. Those will be presented by our boss from the Real View Tom Hilton, so let's celebrate the New Year by making peoples night with awards.

Real View BBU Hall of Fame inductionTom Hilton: It is now time for our special hall of fame inductions, this year we have decide to place two special women in BBU history into the hall. First up is Alesha Dixon, the famous singer and Britain's Got Talent judge made her debut in the boxing ring in 2010, losing to Katy Perry in a great fight that was an exciting scrap, the first of many such fights for her. A year later Alesha would go on to win the BBU bantamweight title, beating a woman who will surely join her in the hall of fame in future in Una Healy. She'd lose the title two months later to a woman who would be her greatest rival, follow Hall of Famer Jessica Schwarz, she would go on to only beat Jessica twice in eight attempts in their feud, every fight they had was interesting as both wanted to badly hurt the other in a true blood feud. Big names she beat include Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Winslet and Willa Holland to name a few in a career that saw her fight big names from all over the world. Her greatest fights were ones against Jessica Schwarz, the title fight against Una Healy in 2011 was awesome, her fight against J-Law and Grace Park the same year. Real View BBU Hall of Fame inductionTom Hilton: The second person into the Hall of Fame this year fittingly is the best friend of Alesha Dixon, we welcome Lisa Maffia into the hall too. She is a famous singer and now producer of films and for musicians, she also debuted in 2010 and against Katy Perry in a defeat. She went on later that year to win the BBU lightweight champion, defending the title for the most times till Alessandra Ambrosio would tie her record this year. In 2013 she went on to win the BBU bantamweight title to become the only woman in BBU history to be a two weight champion. Her greatest feud was Mary Elizabeth Winstead, beating her in 2011 but losing to her a year later, both women are not fans of each other to say the least. Other then Winstead; she defeated Katie Price, Hall of Famer Sabrina Washington and Marisa Miller in a long career. Her greatest fights were the two fights against Winstead, her fight with Krystal Forscutt in 2012 and against Sabrina Washington in 2011. BBU rookie of the yearMichelle: This years field wasn't as big as previous years but still has some interesting names going forwards for this coming year that you should watch out for. So without further ado I am pleased to announce that the winner is the stunning Sydney Craven! This 24 year old soap star has a fighting background in taekwondo at a national level before she stepped into a boxing ring, which has shown in her fights so far with her amazing footwork and good technical skills for a rookie. She is also undefeated in 5 fights, with scalps including BBU hall of famer Samia Ghadie and follow tough youngster Lucy Fallon, which earned her this years crown. Sydney joins past winners Poppy Drayton and Diana Korkunova in taking this award, which will hopefully mean that she will be successful in her future and maybe winning fighter of the year awards in future. Winner: Sydney Craven

BBU flyweight of the yearMolly: The flyweight division in the BBU has been called the division with the most depth of talent of any celebrity boxing league in the world. So it is one of the toughest to give an award to, but there was one woman who stood out and is now a two time winner of an award, we are pleased to say that Cheryl Cole is our flyweight of the year! She continues to dominate the pound for pound rankings, has held the BBU flyweight title all through the year, defeating the likes of Georgie rival Jade Thirlwall, Elizabeth Henstridge and has had a sterling run in America, which has likely put her in the running for a title shot there. It has to be said other contenders she beat out for the title were Tiffany Mulheron, who won the contenders 6 tournament to earn a shot at Cheryl, Cheryl beat her though. Diana Korkunova who was our rookie of the year last year had an amazing break out year as a top contender, just finishing 4th in the contenders 6 tournament, where she defeated future hall of famer Jenna Louise Coleman, she would go on to beat Jade Thirlwall too as she looks set to have a massive 2019. Winner: Cheryl Cole

BBU bantamweight of the yearMichelle: this was certainly one of the toughest awards to sort out, with two possible contenders worthy for the title, luckily for us you could say there was a play off of sorts for the award and more. So without further ado; I can announce that the winner is the BBU bantamweight champion Dorota Rabczewska! This year Doda went undefeated in 5 fights, stopping the likes of Tulisa Contostavlos, long time bitter enemy Clara Morgane and Tamara Ecclestone to earn a shot at glory. For years Doda could be nicknamed the bridesmaid of the BBU; so close to taking a title but for whatever reason she just couldn't get over the finish line. Finally though on the 27th December! Doda reigns supreme over the bantamweight division, beating the other contender for this award Helen Flanagan. Who had beaten Lea Seydoux in maybe the upset of the year to claim the gold and this would have been her 4th defence of the gold. Instead it was Doda finishing off the year with a 6th round knockout to claim the title for the first time in her career. As with everything Doda related we understand this might be a controversial pick, it was definitely a tough decision who won this award, we went for the head to head record. She know joins past winners in Una Healy and Lea Seydoux, which considering both lost their titles early the next year might be a bad omen for Doda. Winner: Dorota Rabczewska (Doda)

BBU lightweight of the yearMolly: This year has been an interesting year for lightweights, with new faces starting to break into the top of the divisions elite and some major fights for the gold, plenty of women could stake a claim for being in the hunt for the title. But there was one who has had a year that cannot be ignored, so we are pleased to announce that the winner this year is the BBU lightweight champion Alessandra Ambrosio! She has had a perfect year in the BBU that has seen her make history by defending the BBU title a record 6 times, she also was the pound for pound Queen at one time, becoming only the third woman since the rankings began to hold that honour. This year in the BBU has seen her beat back the likes of Sophie Turner, Dua Lipa and BBU Hall of Famer and the former defence record holder at lightweight Lisa Maffia, not to mention she defeated Yvonne Strahovski in a fight of the year contender. She also becomes the first winner not named Miranda Kerr since we started doing these awards for the past 3 years now. Other contenders were Hayley Atwell; who was an amazing JMDD champion and holds a victory over Mary Elizabeth Winstead. With Dua Lipa an outside contender for it, she burned through most competition till facing Alessandra, expect her to be back in the title hunt this year. Winner: Alessandra Ambrosio

BBU welterweight of the yearMichelle: The welterweight division is still growing it can be said, with a new champion only crowned this year and a slew of talent starting to appear in the BBU to try and claim the gold. With the contender 6 tournament focusing on these big women, it'll be interesting to see where next years winner comes from already. But right now we are focusing on this years winner and frankly this was mighty close, we have went with our winner BBU JMDD champion Kelly Brook! Kelly has had a hell of a dramatic year, nearly becoming the welterweight champion in the FCBA, instead she defeated Hayley Atwell to become our JMDD champion and would go on to defeat Michelle Marsh to retain the title. Now the other contender for the title was of course the BBU welterweight champion Joan Smalls, who is undefeated in her career and since winning the title in January has defended it 3 times. The thing that swung it to Joan was two things, she had a longer and tougher schedule this year then Joan did, winning 10 of her 16 fights this year. The biggest reason for her win was her series fights with Kate Upton, an amazing series of fights that saw Kelly give Kate her all, she also finished up her long feud with Laetitia Casta by winning their series over a decade long. That's why Kelly Brook is our winner and we will be interested of course to hear your views on this one. Winner: Kelly Brook

BBU Viewers Fight of the year: Tom: this year saw many classic fights, we hope that you all enjoyed the fights from the past 12 months, hopefully the next 12 will see as many big fights.
There were four fights for you guys to choose from and I want to say a big thank you to everyone who took the time to vote, now you get to see if your pick triumphed.
I can happily announce that the winner by a near landslide was Kelly Brook vs Kate Upton body saddle bout!
This was a thriller of a fight in the midst of one of the most hate fuelled feuds the BBU has seen, both women had agreed to a best of seven series that would be fought all the way no matter the actual result of the series.
This was the highlight from that series and if you haven't read it, I urge you to go do so as it certainly had managers, fighters and fans talking afterwards.
Winner: Kelly Brook vs Kate Upton body saddle bout

BBU Viewers Fighter of the year:Tom: this was an award voted by you our viewers, I want to say a big thank to all you guys and gals who read our stuff, without you none of this would be as fun as it is, so I know the other managers, writers and other faces who make up the BBU extend those feelings to you. But you are wondering who came out on top of the vote; well this was a very evenly fought poll, with two women battling for the award from day one, all the way to the final days voting. Only one woman could emerge victorious though, that woman was the BBU flyweight champion Cheryl Cole! What a year for the BBU's pound for pound queen! She has had wars on both sides of the Atlantic, representing us in the FCBA as well as kicking arse in the BBU to keep her title through all 12 months. She has beaten all challenges back; including beating her Geordie rivals Jade Thirlwall and Marnie Simpson, while also beating the comeback queen Tiffany Mulheron. On American shores she beat the likes of Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Lucy Hale in a stellar year that saw her go unbeaten, she is truly an elite fighter and you all clearly agree. She now has joined past winners Jenna Louise Coleman and Miranda Kerr in lifting this award, I know she'll be setting her sights on a second award next year. Winner: Cheryl Cole

BBU managers fight of the yearTom: now it's time for the managers pick for the fight of the year, each manager had three picks with their first pick getting 3 points, 2nd got 2 points and 3rd got 1 point, the fight which had the most points won. This year was certainly interesting for fights, with amazing title fight and grudge fights making this year one of the most exciting in BBU history. Now it's time to say which fights won, let's first start though with the runners up, normally we'd have a third place but instead two fights earned 4 points each to come 2nd! They were Tiffany Mulheron vs Cheryl Cole for the BBU flyweight title and Yvonne Strahovski vs Alessandra Ambrosio both gripping fights that I definitely urge you to seek out if you haven't seen them before. But it's time to announce the winner; which was a clear runaway one, I am pleased to announce that the fight of the year was Kelly Brook vs Kate Upton: Body saddle fightHere is the fight for you guys to see what got the managers so excited by it: bbuchat.freeforums.net/thread/836/kate-upton-kelly-brook-saddleI won't spoil the result but will give a quick background to the fight, Kate and Kelly were locked in a bitter struggle of a best of seven series, this was the 6th fight in the series and was fought with everything both women had. The last thing either wanted was to be ridden around the ring with a saddle on their back by their rival, a woman that they would both admit they hate more then anyone else they know. So go read it if you haven't! Winner: Kelly Brook vs Kate Upton Body saddle bout

BBU managers fighter of the yearTom: as the title suggests, this is the managers pick for the fighter of the year, so you guys know; the voting was done by an Alternative Vote system, so each manager had three picks, with their first pick getting 3 points, 2nd got 2 points and 3rd got 1 point, the person who had the most points won. Without further ado let's start with 3rd place, who had 4 points; Helen Flanagan! In second place shockingly to some I bet; with 7 points; the BBU flyweight champion [/b]Cheryl Cole![/b] So the winner with 9 points! The BBU JMDD champion Kelly Brook!Well what more can we say about Kelly! 2018 certainly might be her best year in her career as she has proven that she is far from finished in the ring, with maybe more titles to come over the next 12 months. She joins past winners Cheryl Cole and Jenna Louise Coleman in getting the managers vote, it'll be interesting to see how many managers pit their girls against this talented woman this year. Winner: Kelly Brook

Huge thanks to everyone who voted in these polls! BBU Awards are becoming an annual thing and it's safe to say they won't get canned anytime soon! Maybe it's also due to the presenting talent involved? Have to say Kelly Brook and Cheryl Cole made most noise this year and it's a shame they'll never meet together in the ring! So, maybe they play a chess match instead

There's honestly no question that you deserve the honor and I'm sure your fluke win over me help cemented this well-deserved prize. But, while you may be the best in the BBU, you're definitely not best in the world. Not while I'm around, so Alessandra, when you're ready to get a beat-down from me, which will be just as well-deserved, I'll look forward to humiliating you.
There won't be two Alpha lightweights around on my watch - just one Alpha and one Beta. You know which one you'll be, bimbo.
Enjoy your win and title reign while it lasts, Ambrosio.

Winner: Kelly Brook This is, of course, as most things associated with Kelly Brook, complete BS.
Getting your overrated jugs and fat ass beat by me qualifies you for welterweight of the year, not to mention Fighter of the f*cking year?
Just remember, Kelly, when you're accepting every little accolade, every bit of praise, every award - that you owe it to me. If I hadn't taken the time to grace you with my presence, to smother you the f*ck out and deal with your jealous shyt in person, people wouldn't even remember your name. You'd be just another chubby has-been sitting at home, crying your eyes out at watching models such as myself who are hotter and better than you be more successful than you EVER were.
You owe me, Brook. I know you think you're hot shyt right now after our titfight, but we all know that's a fluke. Your pathetic udders can't stand up against a real woman like me consistently and just like always, your floppy, fugly rack will fail. Enjoy all of your success right now and just remember, when it comes time for credit, you give it where it deserves. To me.
But, don't worry, I plan on beating your nasty, sagging, ugly ass all THIS year too so you can probably get some more awards next year and you can thank me for them then, alright, b*tch? Next time I see you, just feel free to give those awards to me and maybe I won't smother you the f*ck out.
Be a good girl, Brook and do as you're told.
The TRUE welterweight of the year.
