Tom Hilton: Hello ladies and gentlemen, this week saw two major cards, one that saw Alessandra Ambrosio defending her BBU lightweight title against Jessica Clements.
The other card saw the BBU bantamweight title on the line, Hall of Famer Alesha Dixon challenged champ Doda.
While the BBU JMD title found a new number one contender, Gemma Merna and Imogen Thomas had been feuding the past month, well the added title shot opportunity added to the atmosphere.
Today show will discuss the following: *BBU lightweight title fight* *BBU bantamweight title fight* *Monika Pietrasinska vs Zoe Salmon* And *Katya Jones vs Inna*
In other news the next BBU PPV was announced for this Wednesday, the BBU JMD title will main event that card as Lacey Banghard defends her title against Gemma Merna.

Part 1: BBU JMD title preview So we know that the main event of this months BBU PPV will see Gemma Merna challenge the JMD champion Lacey Banghard.
This is after Gemma defeated Imogen Thomas in a personal battle to earn this shot, it showed how good Gemma has been over the past few months since the year began.
Lacey meanwhile for those who haven't followed the division has held the title since June of last year, her last fight didn't go so well as she challenged Cheryl Cole for her BBU flyweight title, ending with her being knocked out after a spirited challenge.
That's the interesting thing going into this fight; has that defeat effected Lacey mentally going into this defence? Gemma is definitely going to push that theory in this fight.
Physically Gemma is taller by four inches at 5'5, she is also eight years older at 32, so this will be a clash of styles as Gemma will work on the outside compared to Lacey, who'll be keeping her head down while she works in the pocket.
Going off experience they are similar; Gemma is a former BBU flyweight champion, though her record isn't as impressive as Lacey's, making Lacey the favourite going into the fight but not by much.
It'll simply come down to if Gemma can keep the champ at range till she feels she has softened her up, then move inside to use her power shots, if she can't then Lacey will be using her tits as speed bags all night.

Part 2: BBU bantamweight title fight This past Wednesday saw Alesha Dixon challenge Doda for the bantamweight title, they have been calling each other out the past two months, with threats coming weekly on what they'd do when they win.
It showed how personal it was when both women came to the center of the ring, eyes locked as they refused to touch gloves, just desperate to want to rip the others head off.
At least that's what it look like would happen, instead the opening round was one of more verbal sparring then physical fighting.
Once the real fighting started they went back and forth, first Doda lit up her challenger with big hooks, Alesha came back at the champ with straight shots that knocked her backwards.
It took till the fifth for Doda to really hurt Alesha, going to work on the body of the older fighter, smartly wearing down Dixon as she looked to knock her out.
Doda put Alesha down in the seventh, blooding her face up in the build to a hard uppercut, Alesha showed her legendary toughness to push her way up to her feet.
It took the eighth round for Doda to finish the fight off, another right put her down, while Alesha tried to get up, she couldn't though as her legs were gone and that was all she wrote.
This was a great win for Doda's record, a hall of famer always looks great, the fact that these two will probably do battle again in future.
While Alesha looked good early on, frankly better then she has in the past few years, problem is that she hasn't the stamina to go long against an elite fighter.
But what gave Alesha a chance in this fight was her boxing brain, if she relies on it going forwards then she can win fights going forwards, though how long she has in the ring is questionable.
It'll be interesting to see where Doda goes next for a challenger, plenty of tough bantamweights will be wanting to take the title from her, issue is she might be the best bantamweight fighting in the BBU, so who've challenges her better bring her best.

Part 3: Monika Pietrasinska vs Zoe Salmon Two fighters needing a win to try to right the direction their careers are going in met on Monday, this took place in Poland's famous Torwar Hall.
Monika was a former title challenger two years, since then she has lost every fight she has had against some good opposition.
Zoe meanwhile started off decent enough, but she seemed to lose her way that led to her losing to her former stablemate and national rival Christine Bleakley not long ago, that was her most bitter defeat.
The biggest kicker was both lost their stables, you'd maybe think both would have some understanding of the other, yeah that definitely didn't happen with both only seeing the other as a means to an end.
The opening two rounds was a good close exchange, Monika started well but Zoe came on strong with uppercuts, backing up the local favourite.
Zoe was the one to build on those rounds, keeping right in Monika's face to stop her unleashing her power, winning two rounds on the spin as the crowd even looked to be sweating that the Irish lass might pull off the upset.
But Zoe made a major mistake; where her tactics were working, she decided she wanted to rip off the head of Monika, trading toe to toe with the heavier handed fighter when you haven't weakened them enough is plain stupid.
Monika got into a groove she never lost, bashing the once beautiful face of Zoe into a mess, one eye was shut and the referee in the seventh gave her a standing eight count, before needing to wave the fight off when Zoe just couldn't defend herself.
This was a good win for Monika in the end, though she showed moments of weakness in this fight, if she can work on those in training then she can finally fulfill her potential by becoming a champion.
Zoe meanwhile I don't see ever winning another fight if she keeps making mistakes like this, she was too impulsive to win by knockout that she tossed a winning strategy away.

Final Part: Katya Jones vs Inna Not often you get to see a dancer fight someone who sings, with both stuck in that middle of the road level of fighter, a win would certainly help one take a step closer to that elite level.
These two seem to have a natural dislike for the other judging by their antics when the referee spoke to them at the center of the ring, Katya with a shove that nearly earned her a hook across her face if not for the referee.
Once that bell rang they went hammer and tongs from the bell, hooks went flying in from them, Katya landed the first meaningful one that allowed her to bash her opponent around the ring, nearly ending it at the end of the round with a haymaker that just missed.
Inna showed why she is a dangerous floater in the division though, coming back at Katya with body shots that allowed her to close the gap so she could light up the dancer with big shots.
This wasn't a fight about defence; which led to Inna making a mistake in the third, which allowed Katya to bash her around the ring with rangy punches to the face.
Inna couldn't find a way back inside as Katya used those dancers legs to keep the space, keeping the Romanian at range.
The fourth saw Inna go down; it looked bleak then for the singer, who reminded everyone of her toughness to get back up, problem for her was Katya doesn't seem to have the big knockout punch, so she basically bludgeoned Inna then out right sparked her out.
When the sixth come around; a right hook turned Inna around and surprisingly she quit, saying she couldn't continue for the first time in her career, though it was understandable when you saw how swollen her face was, definitely will have a black eye to say the least.
This was a very impressive win for Katya, she boxed with crisp punches to go alongside her great footwork, maybe earning her the title of being most feared fighter in that middle group off Inna.
She wants to fight fellow dancer Ola Jordan, who has a big money fight she tells us against Cher Lloyd in future, if she loses that she can come back to the Torwar Hall to battle Katya in a full on grudge match that will also do her bank balance good.
Inna just doesn't seem to have that something to be great, I hate saying that as she is likeable and is talented, but she can't go over that hump for greatness, languishing in the journey woman role.
That's all we have time for guys, thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read these, we will be back next Sunday for the next edition.
