Final Part: an interview with Gal Gadot(Michelle Joy Phelps and Gal sit on a sofa next to each other charring before Michelle stops to talk to the camera)Michelle: hey guys, hope you have missed me as I bring another interview with a guest I am honoured to be next to, a real life Wonder Woman who just happens to play her on screen, Gal Gadot!
Gal: thanks for the warm welcome.
Michelle: OK so first we like to give fans a taste of our fighters, here is you doing some boxing training for our fans to see just some of your skills.
Gal: that day was fun; every time I get the chance to step into a ring or just even just into the gym to box, I love it! The thrill of the fight is just fun to me.
Michelle: it definitely looks it, we also have a picture from you training I think perfectly sums you up, the sight of real power.
Gal: not my favourite picture (laughs) that was for promotion of Wonder Woman I believe off my head, showing as you say that I am not just a pretty face but a warrior.
Michelle: OK so we have to talk about the actually fighting you have done in your career, to say you started slowly might be being nice, sorry to put it like that.
Gal: (giggles) trust me I agree wholeheartedly, I mean I lost to Odette Yustman twice to start my career, two years between fights, if that isn't starting slow then I don't know what is.
My problem was at the time I didn't take training serious then, I was a model and honestly I worried too much about my looks, the fact I wasn't a big star hampered me too, so I should thank Odette for letting me fight her.
Michelle: but things turned around, you are a former BBU lightweight champion, making one defence that was in 2017.
Gal: that of course tied in with me being serious about this training, once I packed on muscle and took learning the craft properly, I showed that just because you start slowly doesn't mean your career is over.
Michelle: I have to note that the woman who beat you was your friend Alessandra Ambrosio, who has went on to become the first ever dual champion of the FCBA and BBU.
Gal: I love Alessandra from our fights ironically, before that we knew of each other and if we are both being honest we saw each other as rivals in modelling, maybe under different circumstances we would be bitter enemies.
But when we had trained so hard for our fight in 2016, we left it all in the ring that night and I respect and admire her so much, the fact she has made history doesn't surprise me.
The only thing I want to be clear on is that I would fight her again and for the title, I know she would fight me to if it has to be done, right now though I am out of the title hunt.
Michelle: can you give us any updates on your future in the ring, you have been quiet this year since you fought on the 27th July last year against Amanda Cerny.
Gal: first just want to say Amanda is someone people should watch out for, I felt first hand her power and her skill set is definitely there.
Anyway on my future; well I am waiting by the phone for someone to step up, I have had inquires about possible fights, nothing concrete though to report.
All I can say is that when I do return to the ring don't expect me going straight into the deep end, I need at least one tune up to shake off the cobwebs, then I aim to work my way back into title contention, with whichever champion will give me a shot.
Michelle: final question before we are done, who is your dream rival to face before you hang up the gloves?
Gal: (laughs) hmm I'd go Adriana Lima; she is the person I'd say with the closest background to me, both models who are ripped and love boxing, the fact she is a former FCBA champion and I am a former BBU champion I think adds to the match up.
Michelle: thanks for that, well sadly that is all we have time for this week, thank you to Gal and to everyone who took the time to view these posts, we hope you had a great time and we see you next Sunday for the next episode of the Real View.
