Part 1: BBU flyweight title fight Diana Korkunova challenged Cheryl Cole on the latest PPV for the flyweight title, there was a lot of intrigue around this fight as could Diana fulfil her potential we and others have quoted about her?
The big thing with Diana is her infectious personality, she is such a fun spirit that even Cheryl said she liked her in the build up, let's say Cheryl doesn't have many friends in the league due to her combative personality.
The combative part definitely showed itself as Cheryl came out the gates quickly, knowing that physically Diana outgunned her, Cheryl wanted to end things right away before the youngster could get going.
Diana though showed off her hand speed in the second round, bashing Cheryl to her face with quick fire combinations that would make any coach proud.
The champion though took control of the action with her experience showing as she changed things up to keep Diana on her toes, even putting her down in the fourth.
But back came Diana as she showed her grit, this was a great back and forth classic between them as neither would let the other get too much control over them.
The eighth round saw the fight come to a head, Diana looked to be getting a the better of Cheryl, making the champ get a little anxious, which led to a mistake that Korkunova took advantage of with an uppercut that took the legs from Cole, who couldn't beat the count meaning we have a new champion.
Diana has been wonderful to watch grow in the league, I have to admit bias as she has become one of our favourites, going over to Cheryl to check on her after the fight shows how classy she is, I am happy to see someone like her as our champion.
To be clear Cheryl was an amazing champion, she had always deserved a run with the title and I still see another run with gold in her future, as well as being a future Hall of Famer.
This was a contender in my eyes for fight of the year, with the pound for pound contention going to have a few changes due to this result.

Part 2: BBU welterweight title Bo Krsmanovic challenged Joan Smalls for the welterweight title, Bo earned the shot by winning this years Contender six tournament, beating some truly elite fighters.
It has to be said that while Joan had went undefeated in ten fights, knocking out all of her opponents, but she was the underdog in several pundits mind due to Bo having more experience and arguably fought the better opposition.
I can tell you that pissed off Joan; who vowed in the build up to make a statement with Bo as her victim, while the challenger said that the title would complete this journey she has been on since the beginning of the year.
The opening round was a scruffy affair; Joan seemed to take the round by shoving Bo along the ropes, but Bo quickly came back at her in the following round to show that she wasn't going to be so easily bullied.
Back and forth went the fighters till Joan put down her challenger in the fifth round, Bo got up with Joan looking to end things as she pushed forwards.
But Joan couldn't find that off switch, she pushed Bo around for another two rounds, Bo though caught out the champ in the seventh to hurt her.
Leading to the eighth where Bo put down Joan with a hard hitting three punch combo, Smalls was flush knocked out and Krsmanovic has the title around her toned waist now.
The defeat clearly hit home for Joan, she looked hollow when she did wake up, this is where Joan will need to show how tough she really is, can she come back from her first set back?
While Bo is a wonderful story; she struggled when she first stepped into the ring, but finding a home that suits her has brought out the best in her, now she has a title to prove that she is truly an elite fighter.
It'll be interesting to see where she goes from her, maybe past challengers like Petra Nemcova or Toni Garrn could get a shot, maybe a fresh challenger like Lorena Rae could get into the title hunt soon, the new era of the welterweight division might be in full swing after this past Wednesday.

Part 3: BBU JMDD title The JMDD division has certainly been an interesting division since it got a title last year, Kelly Brook defended the title against Hailey Clauson to add the latest chapter to it's history.
Hailey has been an interesting fighter to follow, she struggled to break out till she entered the JMDD division, where she has looked very impressive as she has won her last few fights to get this shot.
Meanwhile Kelly has certainly made an impact since she came into the BBU, having a fight of the year match with Kate Upton, she won the title from Hayley Atwell last September.
Now the press conference and weigh in for this match was something, things got heated as the two exchanged less then flattering views on the other, leading to them catfighting on the stage till security to pry them apart, showing this was going to be far from a friendly fight.
From the opening bell both women definitely came to fight, slugging it out as they worked the others body, trying to shove their opponent back as it was like two bulls head to head.
Hailey would start to use more of her speed after that round to win the second, countering Kelly with some perfectly timed strikes to her jugs to get the crowd going.
But Kelly would come back with her raw power, making this a very tense fight for all involved as neither seemed able to really gain control of the fight, only having spurts of control before it was ripped away.
The fourth round saw Kelly be stunningly put down on her back, the Americans I can tell you in the crowd were electric at that moment as Henry Carvill in the Sirens corner was jumping around too.
That enthusiasm would be squashed one round later, Hailey showed her inexperience at this level by rushing in too quickly, leading to her being punished with an absolute barrage of punches to her tits, till Hailey went down and didn't beat the count.
Kelly punished Hailey seemingly for getting so close for taking the title, happily Henry stopped her but Kelly still looked furious as she left the ring.
Hailey didn't take the opportunity when she got it, I still think that she can win a title if she learns from this experience, she has the weapons at her disposal to be a great fighter.
I don't know if these two are done with each other after the ending, so we will be watching closely to see what happens for them going forwards.

Final part: Ellie Goulding vs Charlotte Church These two have certainly been an interesting story the past two months, in fact it goes back longer as these two have been wanting a piece of the other the past few years.
That has rammed up lately as Ellie defeated Rita Ora and Charlotte defeated Imogen Thomas, each called the other out before this fight became official as they ripped the others hair out at the after party, their managers had to tear them apart before agreeing to finally let them settle it in the ring.
When they got going that southpaw stance of Ellie really got to Charlotte, it can be a big problem for an Orthodox fighter when facing a southpaw for the first time, she just couldn't get settled so easily.
But Ellie played into the hands of Charlotte by fighting on the inside, the Welsh lass looked much the better fighting this style as the fight went on, with Charlotte even borrowing from her JMD experience to rough up the English lass.
The ending was frankly brutal; Charlotte busted the nose of Ellie and kept targeting it till a doctor had to check it and we got a doctors stoppage as Goulding couldn't continue due to a suspected broken nose.
This fight summed up why Elie is stuck in boxing purgatory, she has all the skills to box with fast hands, quick feet and a world class jab, then she shows that temper that gets her into a close range fire fight that is her weak spot, which bit her hard this time.
Meanwhile Charlotte has come back strong this year, there were questions whether Charlotte is the number one bantamweight in the Lioness stable, I don't see that considering that would mean she is better then the champion.
The fact is that she is a top fighter and has become a gatekeeper for the title, expect people wanting a shot at Doda to go through Charlotte, so Charlotte should expect her phone ringing for fights.
Ellie I hear is after a rematch too when her nose heals, it'll be interesting to see how that one plays out, Ellie will definitely need to change her plans if that fight does happen again.
That's all we have time for folks, thank you to everyone who took the time to read these posts, I hope this was fun and remember the next episode is next Sunday morning.
