Final Part: an interview with Ewelina Lisowska(Interview was done on Wednesday, Michelle Joy Phelps interviewed Ewelina Lisowska in a coffee shop in Amsterdam)Michelle: hey guys, this week I am back and honoured to sit here with Polish singer Ewelina Lisowska as she prepares for her debut fight against Jeanette Biedermann this coming Monday, welcome Ewelina to the BBU.
Ewelina: thank you so much, I am honoured to be here talking to you, I hope you are nice to me haha.
Michelle: well as usual we like to show our fans a fighters training, you are someone that anyone who goes to your Instagram page will see that you love kick boxing, we have a clip of you training.
Michelle: the obvious question is how hard has it been learning not to kick when you train?
Ewelina: haha well as you said kick boxing is my passion outside of singing, I love the training and being able to kick butt is fun.
On the whole kicking bit; I have to admit as stupid as it sounds, I was still throwing knees during my first sparring session, as you can guess I was apologizing to my training partner and my coach about that.
If someone pisses me off in the ring they might find a knee in their gut, just to warn all you girls who think about pushing my buttons when we fight.
Michelle: I have to say you have good hand speed in that video, you look a natural to the sport.
Ewelina: thank you so much; I have been training for years in kick boxing, while I have been training for boxing the past year roughly.
I have been in talks for a fight in the BBU since January, each time though either my opponent has pulled out or their management has claimed they had an offer they couldn't refuse for their fighter.
Michelle: as I said at the beginning of the interview, you are set to fight Jeanette Biedermann tomorrow when this interview goes out, how did this fight get made?
Ewelina: I had been getting my agent to ask around, I hear the Lioness Club manager is a fan of mine, I got a personal phone call from Jeanette asking if I really wanted to fight and that she'd fight me.
I can tell you while I thank Jeanette for giving me this chance, me and her are far from friends, that phone call was far from civil.
I'll tell you as I told her; when I get in that ring with her, I don't care about her experience or if she thinks I am going to be an easy win, I am coming to knock her out cold at my feet, so she better be ready for a real fight.
Michelle: strong words, what do you think will give you an advantage over as you said a more experienced opponent in the ring?
Ewelina: she is a decade older then me, I am in my prime (standing up and lifts her shirt to show her abs) Jeanette isn't as physically strong as me and I wager she isn't as fast as me.
If I can find a way around her extra reach she is simply toast, I will hurt her badly if I get the chance to show the fans why so many women were afraid to fight me.
Michelle: so who else in the BBU do you want a crack at? Sounds like a few women have pushed your buttons already.
Ewelina: you could say that, I have heard Sandy Moelling talking crap about me because I am fighting her best friend, she seems to forget that I wanted her a few months ago and her manager Gina (Wild) pulled the fight, let's see how big she talks after I fight Jeanette.
Other then her; I'll take on anyone really, I know at just 5'1 most people look at me as this small girl with no hope in hell of winning fights.
Once they see what I can do, those doubts will melt away quickly, I'm not just in the BBU to make the numbers up, as my fellow Polish stars have shown, we can be successful in celebrity boxing when given chances.
Michelle: OK sorry to say because I am loving talking to you, but only got time for one final question, is it fight do or die on Monday?
I mean if you lose do you think that will be the end of your BBU journey or can you show the world you deserve another chance to strut your stuff in the ring?
Ewelina: not making an excuse but plenty of rookies have picked easier opponent's to start their careers, I am backing myself one hundred percent that my hand will be raised on Monday.
If it isn't then it isn't the end of the world for me, I will go back to training and hope someone is smart enough to see my talents, that's all I can hope for.
Michelle: I wish you luck for Monday, you have mine and I bet a lot of our fans here support babe, you have been one of our best guests on here.
Ewelina: thank you so much, the support does really mean a lot, I know it isn't going to be easy but I will kick ass for my fans and all you guys watching this.
Michelle: that's all we have time for folks, thank you to Ewelina taking the time out of her training to speak to us here on the Real View.
We also like to say a massive thank you to everyone who took the time to read these posts, hopefully we will see you next Sunday morning for the next edition.
