Part 1: Jorgie Porter vs Rhiannon Fish The opening fight to the card saw the classic blonde vs brunette clash, of course both women wanted to help their teams go forwards with a win, they also needed one for their careers which have slumped slightly lately.
That need to win was on show from the opening bell as they flew out the gates, it was Jorgie though with her work to the body who won the two opening rounds.
Rhiannon finally settled into a rhythm in the third, drilling an overly aggressive Jorgie to the top of her head with crisp punches, working well as she moved more instead of going straight at the blonde.
The next round saw Rhiannon look to have hurt Jorgie with a nice right hook to the chin, Porter kept her feet but was pressed along the ropes the remainder of that round.
Things erupted in the fifth round; Rhiannon with a beautiful punch to the solar plexus of Jorgie send her down to all fours.
If the Aussie camp thought things were over; guess again! Jorgie was up and it was a scruffy almost street fight in close, Fish's nose got busted open before she was sent down for the count by a right hook on the button.
This was an awesome opening fight for the night, two women giving it their all, but Jorgie has the win she wanted, Rhiannon has to go on searching for that elusive success a bit longer.

Part 2: Roxanne Pallett vs Ariel Kaplan We predicted before this fight that the biggest upset of the night could be here, Roxanne is a tough veteran but at 36, could she stop the very fit Ariel who is nigh on a decade younger?
In the build up Roxanne certainly was sure, I can tell you she was upset at our prediction when we got a chance to speak to her, while dismissing Ariel as a nobody with no talent, ouch!
The game plan from the Aussie camp looked simple, Ariel swamped Roxanne in the opening round, keeping things close range as she hammered the body of the older vixen, hoping to wear her down.
Roxanne would subdue that tactic in the second, turning Ariel into the turnbuckles and deciding to call upon her JMD experience to rough up the younger fighter to her boobs, getting Ariel mad at that.
From that point on Roxanne controlled the fight, using Ariel's own tactics against her to make the Australian star make mistakes trying to fight back.
Leading to the fifth round, Roxanne had started to bend over Ariel with these repeated body shots, showing that experience as she picked the perfect time to rip an uppercut on the chin that knocked out Kaplan cold.
Giving England a two to nil lead; while I ate humble pie as Roxanne showed off that she can be an elite fighter at her best, this was one of those A game performances.
While poor Ariel needs to go back to the drawing board, she was too one dimensional and when needing to find a plan B was lost to the answers to that.

Part 3: Amy Willerton vs Krystal Forscutt With a two to nil lead for team England, their locker room must have been buzzing, with hard hitting Amy next out against the tough veteran Krystal, one more win for the hosts would mean just needing one from three to win the Ashes.
But Krystal wasn't in the mood for Amy it seemed, calling her out on losing to Jennifer Hawkins before, someone Krystal we hear beat out to get a spot in Team Australia, while just calling Amy a bad fighter.
Plenty of pride then for Amy as she came out swinging from the bell, the problem with that is she wasn't fighting some trigger happy rookie, Krystal has seen it all and countered her with ease.
Body shots from Krystal winded Amy right away, spooking the big blonde as the Aussie just cut through her defences like a hot knife through butter.
In the second blood poured from Amy's nose as Krystal landed surgical accurate strikes, helped by Amy being open from her confusion, that Amy went down and was counted out.
This was simply an arse kicking from bell to bell; Amy sought revenge, instead she tasted canvas and may have suffered a broken nose for her troubles.
Meanwhile Krystal showed why you do not simply sleep on her, she is a dangerous opponent for anyone and this was maybe her most dominant performance in her career.

Part 4: Holly Peers vs Miranda Kerr Could Holly get England back on the winning track? In her way was the former BBU bantamweight and lightweight champion, Queen of the Ice Hotel and current ACB bantamweight champion Miranda Kerr, so not an easy task by any stretch.
We said of all the fights this felt the biggest mismatch, Holly took offence to those words, maybe rightly saying that Miranda was busy doing PR then training, except we have spoken to Miranda before and she doesn't miss gym days when needed.
But it has to be said the opening round saw Holly giving Miranda a few problems, Kerr didn't seem to be taking her opponent that serious as she left her guard more open then usual.
Holly struggled for a bit to land anything meaningful as Miranda toyed with her, dodging punches before landing single counter punches, Miranda frustrating Holly as much as the crowd with her cockiness.
That disappeared when a right to the gut send Miranda down to a knee, Holly roared as she sensed the upset she craved was on the horizon.
All it seemed to do though was piss off Miranda, who in the fifth came firing back with a real aggression, sending Holly down first with a great set of combination punches.
To her credit Holly got back to her feet, she was badly hurt though and quickly enough Miranda ended the fight with a brutal hook to tie up the ashes.
It has to be said though it is harsh to, that Holly only looked as good because Miranda only got out of first gear after she felt canvas, what came after that point was pure destruction from one of the best fighters pound for pound in my eyes.

Part 5: Tamsin Egerton vs Jasinta Campbell This was the fight I felt would be the match of the night, you have two fighters very similar in style and physically, the difference comes in their careers.
Tamsin has been someone who has had some great performances, when given a chance at the BBU welterweight title though she has fell at that big hurdle twice.
Jasinta meanwhile is the current ACB welterweight champion, also undefeated after four fights going into this one, so would be a major scalp for Tamsin if she could do the job.
The opening two rounds saw both women come out quickly, Tamsin took the first round before Jasinta came roaring back to even things up.
The third round was another close fought affair, both fighters showed grit to keep trading in close, risking getting caught with a punch that could have ended the fight.
But then the pressure from Campbell started to get to Tamsin, after she got blasted around the outside of the ring, Tamsin fell back into her shell.
The difference between the two fighters showed more and more as the rounds went on, Tamsin just couldn't let herself get at Jasinta, too afraid of making a mistake that she was making them.
Hooks sent Tamsin down in the seventh, the Portsmouth fighter did get up but got pounded against the ropes, the referee stepping in to pull them apart and wave the fight off as Egerton couldn't keep going.
That's been the biggest issue for Tamsin, she seems to wilt under pressure, hence why she hasn't won a big fight yet.
While Jasinta steps closer to maybe getting a second welterweight title, the BBU champion should be watching her rival champion for a future big money fight.

Final Part: Cheryl Cole vs Dannii Minogue The face that Australia were three to two up in the series of fights didn't matter to these two, this was very personal between them, starting all the way back on the X Factor with them reportedly coming to blows backstage over a decade ago.
Since then Dannii has beaten Cheryl twice in these Ashes series, the last time though was all the way back in 2013, both have certainly changed since that time.
The one thing that hasn't changed is the two hate each other, shown by the lack of a glove touch before the action kicked off.
If you expected a classic technical boxing match, you came to the wrong party as these two flew out the gates, slugging it out from the opening bell.
A nasty hook caught Cheryl on her left eye, with a follow up hook sending the Geordie down to the canvas in the first round.
That set the tone as Cheryl kept trying to out slug Dannii, only to get knocked down again in the second round, the toughness of Cole kept making her get back up.
The third round saw Cheryl eat one too many hooks put her down for the count, with captain of the England team Katie Price holding her head in her hands as England lost the Ashes again to the Aussies, four to two this time around.
For the Cheryl/Dannii feud; this was most likely the final chapter and Dannii has the clean sweep over Cheryl in their rivalry, Cheryl having that black mark on her record for the rest of her career.
The biggest worry for Cheryl is she can't buy a win, she went about this fight completely wrong and the slump seems well and truly in for her, what can Cheryl do to turn things around.
While Dannii could announce her retirement tomorrow and have the fairytale ending to an illustrious career, she did give a speech on how she hopes future Australia teams will keep the ashes, before she lifted them up.
It'll be interesting to see how things change for the next Ashes series in two years time down under, can England win the series then?

Hey, Tom! I'd rather dye my hair pink than retire! I still have some unfinished business in ACB and BBU! Retirement? Like when?
