Part 1: Jesinta Campbell vs Michelle Ryan This was the main event from Mondays card, Jesinta has made it very clear since she won in the boxing Ashes series that she wants to add more gold to her ACB welterweight title she holds.
Her eyes may firmly be on the BBU welterweight title, but her opponent was the veteran Michelle Ryan, who a few years ago nearly became the FCBA welterweight champion after a great run of result.
The big question of course was could Michelle roll back the years to be that fighter? Jasinta wanted to see if she could as Michelle certainly talked up a big game.
When the fight begun it was Michelle starting off strong, Jesinta needing to open up to back off the veteran in an evenly fought open round that showed what could be.
The first big talking point came when Michelle caught Jesinta on her chin with an overhand right, sending the Aussie onto her backside, with Jesinta understandably was annoyed as she looked up at the referee watching the count.
Not hurt as she got back up; Jesinta though had to build her way back into the fight, Ryan was coming at Campbell trying to end the fight in her favour.
As the fight wore on Jesinta came on stronger, Michelle was making mistakes as things started to go wrong for her.
Leading to Michelle being sent down in the fifth round, in the sixth she was put down for the count after taking a pounding till she couldn't get back up to her feet.
This was a good tester for Jesinta, this version of Michelle isn't as good as she was, but she showed she still has fire and skills that can surprise a few up and coming fighters.
Jesinta still has a little work I think to be in the welterweight title, but she is close to giving Bo Krsmanovic some trouble, so maybe a title defence is in her future.

Part 2: Jacqueline Jossa vs Nicola Roberts This fight took place last Saturday night, so was too late for us to review last Sunday morning, now we talk about a massive fight for both women's careers.
They had been in a slump over the past, with Jacqueline having the bigger problem, not winning in five years, compared to Nicola over a year.
A difference of personalities in the build up showed, Jacqueline was tense as she talked about the fight, Nicola meanwhile was happy about fighting, smiling on her way to the ring on fight night.
While Jacqueline came out looking to push the pace in the opening round, she didn't land anything of note as she struggled to pierce the guard of the redhead.
Who once she got going; started to pound back Jacqueline as the EastEnders star was way too tense, Nicola landed some real nasty shots as the fight wore on.
In the fourth Jacqueline was sent down by a hard right across her chin, she did get up and in the fifth Jacqueline was set down again, she got up once more but couldn't show the referee she could could continue.
This was a bad loss for Jacqueline, she lost the will to fight and looked broken mentally, that is hard to overcome without either changing camps, building from the bottom of the rankings back up or step away from the ring for a bit to recover and find herself.
On the other side Nicola reminded doubters what she can do, she has the tools just lacks the power to go with them, I do think there is an elite fighter in there but time is going against her.

Part 3: Amber Rose vs Brandi Bondoc Both these women have tasted defeat, they hoped going against each other would help one of them going forwards in their career.
Amber won her last fight against Peta Todd, while Brandi lost her debut to Hailey Clauson, it was obvious that Brandi would try to use her speed against Amber's roar power.
At the bell it was Brandi who started off the faster, keeping the shorter Amber on the outside, though warning signs were there when Amber could get in closer as the first two rounds wore on.
In the third round Amber finally got inside the reach of Brandi to really open up on her, that power really bothered Brandi as she couldn't hold her back.
Finally Amber put down Brandi in the fourth with a brutal hooking drive, Brandi was stumbling all over as she was badly hurt by the former stripper.
Afterwards Amber told us that she is interested in doing JMDD fights, while she is also fighting on the next FCBA PPV, so plenty on her table going forwards as time isn't really on her side to go for gold.
Brandi on the other hand looks like she struggles at this weight to deal with the power of her opponent's, maybe she could get into the lightweight division.

Final Part: Elena Santarelli vs Sasha Luss A battle of models took place on Monday, Sasha was looking to keep her undefeated after an impressive debut, while Elena tried to get back in the win column after a bad run of results.
Neither seemed to exactly like each other to say the least, before the bell rung their eyes were locked in nasty glares, knowing how important a win was for both fighters careers.
Elena tried to use her reach advantage to keep back the smaller fighter, she started off the first round great as she stung the face of Luss.
After that though Sasha's speed over the veteran came into play, Elena only really could land clipping blows to the top of the Russians head.
Till in the fourth round where Sasha caught the taller fighter with an overhand right, then sent Elena down with more punched across the chin, sending her crumbling to the canvas.
Sasha looks to have the skills, of course she still has to be tested, it will be interesting to see what she can do when put under pressure.
While Elena is done it seems as a threat, at 38 she hasn't the speed and never had the power to really trouble opponents.
That's all we have time for guys, thank you for taking the time to read these posts, we hope you enjoyed them and we will see you next Sunday morning.
