Part 1: BBU bantamweight title previewThis Wednesday the bantamweight title will main event the next PPV, Katie McGrath will be looking to make her third defence of the title, this time she meets old foe Daisy Ridley. They met back in 2016, it was Katie's debut against the then undefeated Daisy, who'd won four fights in a row going into that contest. Here is a link to the fight if you want to look it up: fcbahistory.pbworks.com/w/page/110113087/29%20June%202016%20Daisy%20Ridley%20vs%20Katie%20McGrathDaisy knocked out Katie in the eighth round, we got a glimpse then of what Katie was capable of as she pushed Daisy hard, only an issue with stamina at that point caused her to lose in some peoples eyes. Since then both women have had interesting runs to this moment in time, Daisy would lose her stable and it affected her career in a negative way as you can imagine, with several defeats coming and the once future champion looked a busted flush. But a change of scenery by coming to the BBU saw her meteoric return to form, which has led her into the equally fast rising Knockout Babes stable, a group that clearly are giving her their full backing. While Katie lost that debut, since she joined the Foxfire Atlantic stable, she has been on the rise and is now one of the true premier fighters in the BBU. She defeated the tough Polish warrior Doda in a barnstormer of a fight to win the title, Katie has shown in each fight even since then improvement all the time. Of course this fight will be different to the first they had, Katie has more stamina of course, she has added a stiff jab to her power punches that allows her to set up her shots. Daisy on the other hand looks sharper with each fight, power has and probably never will be her forte, her accuracy of punches have always been her strength along with her quickness. Which is what this fight will come down to in this clash of styles, Daisy will look to use her speed and her slight reach advantage to bash around Katie. Who will of course look to step inside to work in the pocket, Katie will need to wear down Daisy, once she gets an opening she will go for the knockout to retain the title. This I believe will be the fight of the night if both fighters come on with their A games, which considering this is for a world title in celebrity boxing, trust me they will be coming with both barrels ready to fire.

Part 2: Mollie King vs Danielle Lineker These two have a point to prove when they stepped up to fight, more so to pundits like myself then they did against each other in some respects.
Mollie after losing to Cheryl Cole a few months ago was trying to prove she is still a title contender, she was telling us before the fight that she is wanting a shot at the flyweight champion and saw this as a start to get there.
While Danielle lost to Mandy Capristo over a year ago, she has struggled to get fights and she wanted to shoe that she deserves more a spotlight on herself, beating Mollie would certainly get her recognition.
The first two rounds were mostly Danielle controlling things, Mollie came out swinging more then she should have, giving the Welsh model openings to strike into.
Things started to turn around in the third, Mollie started to pick her punches more, leading to Danielle eating more leather around and through her guard.
In the fourth round Danielle started to look a little desperate as she became too aggressive, eating an uppercut that sent her down to her back.
Danielle fought on through to nearly the end of the fifth round, a shot right above the waistband of the Welsh lass sent her down for the count, some shouted foul play but replays showed that it was a fair punch.
This was a good result for Mollie, she started slowly but her counter punching was beautiful when she started doing it, with King hoping this will be the beginning to that title shot.
On the other side of this result, Danielle will regret rushing when she had control of things, she looked great in the first two rounds with good upper body movement alongside nasty looking body shots, ironic then a body shot gave her a loss.

Part 3: Katya Jones vs Frankie Bridge Both these women got to know each other through Strictly Come Dancing, with both hinting that they certainly were not friends during that time, looking excited to settle things finally in the ring.
It has to be said that Katya has become a bit of a pantomime villain to some people after her marriage problems have been all over the tabloids.
While Frankie has always had that underdog tag, something she wants to dispel as she headed into this fight, looking to knock the lights out of her rival.
What followed though was a rout it has to be said, Katya started out the quicker with her obvious impressive footwork, all those hours dancing pay off I can tell you when I watch her and Ola Jordan.
Frankie kept trying to find a way to the inside, she kept getting beaten back though, even getting cut across her left brow in the third round, making her puffy cheeks and cut face looked horrible.
Finally in the fifth round Frankie was knocked out with a nasty hook, the singer landing on her back out cold, it was hard to watch if you support Frankie.
This was a shutout performance for Katya, who made it known after her arm was raised that she wants to be recognized as an elite fighter, this was certainly one big step to achieving that.
While Frankie worryingly looked woeful here, she couldn't adapt to anything that could pressure Katya, who physically she couldn't match in any realm.
I'll be watching keenly what will happen with Frankie, I hope she can find something extra as she is as tough as nails, just maybe lacks the skills to be more then a journey woman.

Final Part: an interview with Maisie Williams (Michelle Joy Phelps sits next to Maisie Williams on the ring apron in the Girls Friday stable gym, Maisie wearing black gloves and training gear after finishing sparring)
Michelle: hey guys, I have a special interview with BBU flyweight title challenger Maisie Williams, this Wednesday she will look to claim the title from Diana Korkunkova.
Thank you for giving us several moments of your time Maisie, I know you will be deep into training for this fight.
Maisie: I am but I also love to let my fans know my feelings, my social media accounts have been buzzing with support for me to take that title after working my butt off these past twelve months.
I want to give those fans a big thank you from the bottom of my heart, their belief in me has helped me train harder then I ever have.
Michelle: it is obvious to say this is the most important fight of your career so far, a chance to claim a title after being a pro for the past four years, you turned pro when you were eighteen.
Can you give us an insight into how it felt when you were given the nod that you'd fight for the title?
Maisie: when it happened I jumped up and down in the locker room here, I'll give Diana that she came here to tell me herself, that's how bold she is and I respect that.
As you said though I have fought four years and finally I get a chance to show I am not the baby of the stable, that I have become an elite fighter in my own right next to the Kendall's (Jenner) and Hilary (Rhoda) I have the pleasure of training alongside.
Michelle: if you win you'd be the first flyweight champion since Mr Keegan took over the stable, did you think you'd be the closest to achieve that feat?
Maisie: I am not going to talk down my felloe stablemates Ivana (Baquero) and Elizabeth (Henstridge) both are helped me so much, they deserve more in my opinion for their hard work.
I have to focus on myself right now, if I don't then I will have wasted my chance, which I don't know how I can look myself in the mirror if I do that.
Michelle: what attributes do you think will give you a chance to stop Diana in this fight?
Maisie: As I said I respect Diana, she became the champion through her toughness and her power, I'll have to overcome that if I want my hand raised.
But as you saw when you came into the gym, I think that I can beat her on my speed, I'll be frustrating her all night long and once her guard loosens I will punish her.
I have worked out harder then I ever have, sparred with the best in my stable and even gotten some help from the outside, tried to get fighters similar to Diana so I am ready for anything she throws at me.
Michelle: I have to ask though the answer does seem obvious, you have a fight also announced for the FCBA, taking on Michelle Keegan in what could be a great fight.
The thing is though do you have any eye on that fight or is it fully on the title fight?
Maisie: no offence to Michelle but I am focused on having that title around my waist, Michelle will have my focus once I achieve my dream.
No offence to Keegan to be clear, she will most likely be a hall of famer here in the BBU, but I want to build my own legacy on titles, not just names of former champions.
Michelle: OK final question, if you do win the title, will you come back on our show to talk about it?
Maisie: *laughs* if I have the time I will surely come back, let you even touch the title *winks* first I need to win it before we can worry about that.
Michelle: that's all we have time this week, I hope you enjoyed this Maisie.
Maisie: I always enjoy speaking to you, thank you Michelle and I look forwards to the next time I come here. *playfully punching Michelle in her arm with a jab, both laughing*
Michelle: on that note thank you to all the people who read these posts, as always we hope you enjoyed them and we will see you back next Sunday morning for the next edition of the Real View.
