Laura Whitmore (Frankies Foxes) v Cristina Dochianu (Romania

Two very pretty blondes are next up, as 34 year old Laura looks to improve her chances of a title fight by taking on the 35 year old BBU debutante Cristina, who has plenty of experience against other Eastern European girls



Laura has chosen to wear white leather knickers and a green tight vest, whereas Cristina has gone for a baby blue microskirt, and pastel pink top



Round 1



It is clear that Laura really wants this fight, and she starts well, jabbing away at Cristina, wanting to put the Romanian on the defensive immediately, her fans cheering on their beautiful idol, but she’s taking on an equally lovely girl tonight in Cristina, and an equally stubborn one, because Cristina fights back immediately, thudding a few good punches into Laura’s face, then one to her gut, and she rips a left hook across her face to follow, Laura looking like that really hurt as she covers and clinches, leaning into Cristina at a very early stage, shocked at the ferocity of her opponent, who moves swiftly to push her backwards, and she hurts her again, this time with a couple of heavy punches to her body, looking good at the bell



Round 2



The pace of this fight continues to be fast, with the impressive Cristina having Laura in trouble straight away as she gives her a solid combination to her face, landing three left jabs and a right cross, and she stands back to watch Laura, but the Irish girl fights back, and she has the Romanian backing away after slotting a straight right between her gloves, and now follows up with a left hook, and she looks to have her wobbling with that punch, but Cristina is immediately counter punching, lands a right cross and a left hook of her own, and that hurt Laura quite badly, the Irish girl backtracking, Cristina whipping a couple more shots into her body as she gets herself stuck in a corner, and Cristina thumps a solid right hook into her face, rocking her head backwards, the bell sounding to prevent Laura coming back at her



Round 3



Laura’s left cheek is bruising, and Cristina’s likely to target that damage, and she does - her right jab merciless in thudding into it as the Irish girl gets careless, Laura trying so hard to show Cristina that she’s still able to dictate the fight that she’s overdoing the attacking moves, Cristina looking the better boxer at this point, blocks or avoids Laura’s punches all too easily, and then, with Laura looking untidy, in comes the Romanian, picks the Irish girl off with accurate punches to her face, and follows that by hitting Laura hard around the body, punishing both flanks and ribs, and she wants that guard down, although Laura is very brave, absorbs the punches without bleating, trying to fight back as well, but she’s taking a lot of punishment as the round draws to a close, once again not having the energy to keep pace with the Romania, who is beginning to batter her now, Laura looking rather forlorn at the bell, and she shuffles to her corner, wincing in pain



Round 4



The girls trade heavy blows in the opening seconds, Laura throwing caution to the wind, despite the bruising around her eyes, and her swollen left cheek, but she’s managed to land some neat punches, and Cristina is bleeding a little from her nose after she took a hard left uppercut at the end of that exchange, the first time she’s come second best in this fight, but she isn’t looking too troubled, ignores the blood which dribbles into her mouth from her nostril, and she pays Laura back by giving her ribs another working over, the Irish girl wilting a little now, although she still tries to fight back, lands a nice combination, but doesn’t manage to get away from Cristina who lands three, four good shots to her face in the final seconds, and now Laura’s bleeding as well, her right eyebrow cut open, and that’s likely to be a problem



Round 5



Laura’s beginning to look a mess now, patched up between rounds, but soon bleeding again once she gets punched again, and Cristina needs to push on and make sure she makes Laura pay, and that’s just what she’s doing, softening the Irish girl up a little more with heavy hooks to her body, and now she goes back up for her face, Laura bleeding really badly from another left cross, and she takes a series of punches, staggers, and falls. Laura’s up again at 7, but the referee doesn’t look too happy, although he waves the fight on, and that allows Cristina to give the Irish babe some more punishment, Laura crumpling to her knees from a savage straight right to her belly, again beating the count at 7, but the referee’s seen enough, and waves the fight off



Result: Cristina Dochianu stopped Laura Whitmore in round 5



These Romanian girls are savage punchers, but at least Cristina’s not as cruel as some of the others, and she makes sure that Laura’s recovered before leaving the ring
