Part 1: Sophie Howard vs Lorena Rae This was the main event from this past Friday nights card, a classic England vs Germany scrap, with veteran Sophie wanting to keep Lorena in her rear view mirror.
It seems judging by Lorena's prefight comments that she sees herself as being a contender already, her record belittles her right now but she has fought some tough opposition in her young career.
Sophie meanwhile has been struggling to win on a consistent basis, mostly focused on the JMDD division over the past few years, this was a fight that could be said would be a marker for both women where they are in their careers.
The opening round was a scruffy affair, a lot of wind milling punches to start, Sophie did get some momentum going late on to maybe nick a close round.
After that though Lorena firmly took control of the fight, using a stinging jab to control the range, before lacing Sophie with some really nasty cross punches to bust her up.
Gamely Howard kept trying to close the gap, while she had a few successes on the inside, she was mainly getting beaten back to the outside by the hard hitting German.
Who would end things in the fourth in a brutal power drive, which left Sophie flat out on the canvas, Lorena standing over her looking a dominant conquerer of the proud Merseyside lass.
This was a battering for Sophie, who doesn't look to have that spring in her step to keep up with these younger big hitters, I fancy Sophie against the Kelly Brooks and Gemma Atkinson's for matching up well with them, compared to the Toni Garrn's and Alexina Graham's of the world right now.
Lorena looked impressive here, as said she has had a hard school of training you could say, if she is smartly built up by Gina Wild and the Black Eagles, the screams of future champion may very well come to past for this beautiful German fighter.

Part 2: Sarah Harding vs Kate Lawler If we are honest; this isn't a fight that jumps to mind, when I saw the names together on my schedule for the month, it seems such an obvious fight to make, two somewhat controversial tough blondes duking it out for supremacy sells itself.
As you'd expect neither held back in the press events, calling each other all sorts of names, the big point was both sees the other as a dinosaur to put down and out, there was truly a lot of pride on the line in this fight.
They kicked off the fight in an evenly fought jabbing exchange, the hooks soon flew with not much accuracy, when they did hit though each got a taste of the others power.
The first big talking point came in the second round, Kate isn't what you'd call a technical boxer, as she told me once she is a street brawler getting paid to put on the gloves, she showed what she means with a shameless low blow that earned a warning from the referee.
She got the advantage though as Sarah was still hurting from the blow, enough that Kate drilled her with multiple clean shots, Sarah went down to the canvas for a count of eight after a nasty left hook.
But Sarah reminded everyone why she is viewed by some as the toughest in the Girls Aloud group, she kept on plugging jabs into the face and body of her opponent, keeping her to the outside as she recovered.
In fact it was Kate who would end up hurt in the fifth, she looked exhausted from the liver shots she kept eating, getting off the canvas once at eight after eating a hook herself, she'd bounce off the ropes into a possible knockout of the year left hook from Sarah, who landed so sweetly that Lawler was out before she hit the canvas.
Sarah has had rough times in her personal life and in the ring, maybe with this win she can get some momentum back, as cruel as it is to ask though is she a wasted talent?
Meanwhile Kate is one of those I love from getting to know her, her style is a lot to desire I have to say, her fitness let her down and while I know she won't retire yet, she needs to focus on getting into fighting shape and on her defence if she is to be any sort of factor in this division.

Part 3: Mimi Keene vs Ariel Kaplan Two former soap stars did battle on Friday, the Aussie Ariel came back over here to try to get her boxing career going again, one that can be best classed as stop/start.
Her opponent was the rookie Mimi, who was on EastEnders seemingly, she fought Charly Webb better known as Debbie Dingle from Emmerdale last year, battering the older woman in four rounds.
That certainly seemed to have given Mimi confidence, claiming she was going to batter Ariel as well, before Emma Bunton told us she sees Mimi as a future champion.
Well the opening two rounds of action saw some weaknesses in the youngsters game, Ariel is a good outside boxer who is like a sniper with her punches, she was picking holes in Mimi's guard to knock back her head.
But Mimi landed a headbutt in the first round that caught everyone's attention; Ariel was furious, while Bunton winked to us in the press, making me wonder if they had planned that.
Later on in the third Mimi would catch Ariel with a left hook before another headbutt to the mouth of Kaplan, who lost her composure and played right into the hands of the lesser experienced fighter.
That led to the fourth round, where Ariel was put down by a right hook, while she got up to resume fighting, it wasn't long before Ariel got brutally knocked out cold by an right hook perfectly on the chin of the Aussie.
This was an impressive win in my eyes, Ariel's record doesn't exactly tell the full picture, she has a great technical base to work with, showing with her training that she can go all day.
But Mimi showed underhanded tactics sometimes trump any techniques, she needs to desperately work on her defence if she is ever to become a champion.
Ariel on the other hand has good boxing skills, her temper let her down badly here, with her hand speed and fitness she could be a force if she was trained properly, right now she is making mistakes in her fights that she can only blame herself on.

Final Part: an interview with Holly Willoughby On video call with the studio, Holly is sitting in her office at the Girls Friday gym wearing a red dress with a low cut front)
Tom: it is my honour to say we have the wonderful Holly Willoughby with us today, thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to come talk to us about your new job at your stable and your in ring career.
Holly: (waving) I am more then happy to take time to talk to you guys and my fans, I hope everyone is safe and sound where you are.
Tom: thanks for those kind words; now I have to ask, as we see you are in your new office that you've had over a month, for those who don't know, you are the new PR manager in the Girls Friday stable, how are you finding the job?
Holly: obviously I have plenty of connects with media in Britain, that hasn't been too hard to sort out, the exciting part has been talking to international media and helping expand the stables reach to newer fans.
I have to say I am loving the office too, being on the second floor of the gym, I get to look on and watch the fighters train, see my friends bust their tails off to become the best in the division.
Tom: talking of your stable, how do you feel the changes have went so far, early days I know but has the new coaches added much or too soon to say?
Holly: I have to say they have been a breath of fresh air here, I mean as much as we hate to say it, when the coaching structure has been the same for four years, sometimes you need to change things up to bring in new ideas.
The biggest improvement I would say is that Taryn isn't rushed off her feet as much, Lauren Berlingeri was a hell of a coach and I miss her everyday she isn't in here with us, where the fighters are right now is as much on her as everyone else.
But Taryn can oversee training with of course different coaches giving her advice, helping to watch the fighters work out and as said, simply give Taryn a moment to take a breath because the size our stable was, she was like road runner some days around here.
Tom: I also have to ask about the people you have cut, that being Poppy Drayton, Clara Morgane and Sara Sampaio.
Holly: all wonderful people and fighters, the issue was simply we felt even with the new coaches, we had too many fighters on our roster, we had to pick the ones that were getting the least attention in the boxing world or were not having the success of the other stable members.
As I say that I see Sara is making a name for herself in America, maybe she won't want to hear it but we will be rooting for her to prove us wrong.
Same of course goes for Clara and Poppy, we were in two minds whether to give Clara a coaching job with us, she told us she felt she has a few more years of fighting, I hope those two get some attention soon because they will improve any stable, I believe that from the bottom of my heart.
Tom: how about your career Holly, you have had a stellar boxing career, being the first ever BBU JMDD champion, with this new role in the stable, what will be happening going forwards in the ring?
Holly: I am not retiring yet, while I am at the back end of my career, I still have things I want to do before I hang up the gloves, another BBU JMDD title reign would be one such thing.
Also plenty of welterweight battles I would love to have on either side of the pond, hell the Queendom events still hold my heart for events I love being on.
I know that training will be harder, Melanie (Sykes) though has told me she will help with my duties when I have fights planned, so this is me telling the celebrity boxing well to come ring me up, I'll fight anyone who wants a go at me.
Tom: final question as we are running out of time, do you have any regrets in your career you want to put right before you retire?
Holly: well I regret losing the JMDD title (laughs) that was a bummer, like anything in my life I take one day at a time and whatever has happened well is just part of my life story.
You can't change the past as they say, I am focused on doing the best for this stable in this job and when called upon inside that ring.
Tom: great stuff as always Holly, that is all the time we have folks, hopefully you enjoyed today's Real View, thank you so much to everyone who took the time to read these posts, we hope you will join us next Sunday for the next edition of the Real View.
