Part 1: BBU lightweight title fight Two best friends laced up the gloves on Wednesday night for the lightweight title, Miranda Kerr and Alessandra Ambrosio normally are inseparable when together, both had to put that aside as they fought for the BBU lightweight title.
There were two interesting stories beyond their friendship that were intriguing, first Miranda to some was the linear champion in some peoples eyes, she had dropped the title not in a fight but vacated so she could focus on her time in America.
While Alessandra has made history by having the single most defences of any BBU lightweight champion in history, she came into this fight wanting to tie the most title defences set by ironically an Aussie in Erika Haynatz of ten defenses.
These two had fought before, that was in the massive Victoria Secret tournament that saw Miranda not only beat Alessandra, she would go on to win the tournament.
At the opening bell they started off cagey, neither wanting to push the boat out in case they got caught by a bomb from their opponent, maybe a little hesitant too hitting someone they are close to.
Things perked right up in the third after swapping the opening two, they were throwing more heavier leather in an exciting round, the looks on their faces told the story that they wanted to win badly.
In the fourth the first major moment of the fight occurred, Miranda got caught with a right hook to her chin, that opened her up to an overhand left that sent her to her back, the Girls Friday corner looked exciting as they hoped that was it.
Miranda though is legendary tough, she gamely got up and while she took some punishment in the fifth, she started to come back at the champion with some beautiful combinations.
The seventh saw the final moments of the fight, Alessandra got rocked by an uppercut, which left her open to an absolute sweet left/right hook combo that ended Alessandra's reign on the top of the division, the Kerr era has returned to the BBU.
Both hugged it out afterwards, with Alessandra looking not too dejected, maybe helped by the fact she lost to her friend, it has been a historic run and one that will put Alessandra most likely in the BBU hall of fame when all is said and done.
While Miranda once again is top dog in the BBU, the question remains what future does the title have with her as it's champion? Will she look to keep the title and make her own history or will she drop the belt again?

Part 2: BBU bantamweight title fight After five months of working her butt off in the Contenders Six tournament, going undefeated in said tournament, Alice Eve got her title shot against the undefeated in BBU competition Daisy Ridley.
It has to be said that Alice has had a career rebuild this year, she had been out the ring over two years, mostly helping out around the stable, clearly keeping in great shape for her return.
Daisy meanwhile has been a force of nature through the bantamweights in the BBU, after being a free agent to coming here to fight in front of her family, she now has a stable in the quickly rising Knockout Babes, while she also won the BBU bantamweight title in only her sixth fight here in the BBU.
This was her second defence after beating Olympia Valance earlier this year, Alice was a different proposition as she has more experience then Olympia, though is smaller then the Aussie.
It was a good back and forth between these two, each was up on their toes looking to enforce their strategy's on their opponent, Daisy looking to use her sniper like accuracy to keep Alice to the outside, Alice wanting to be in close to force some heated exchanges.
The opening four rounds was shared, neither could control the action for long before they would make a small mistake, which would become a bigger problem for both women as the fight continued on.
In the fifth Alice got unbalanced by an uppercut, a chopping left hook sent her down to her first in the first dramatic moment, she beat the count at eight but the questions started to come on how long would it be the fight ended.
A mistake came from Daisy though in the seventh, she took a hard right to the body, that opened her up to some nasty punches across her face to reel her back onto the ropes.
The eighth round saw Alice connect with a perfect uppercut that sent Daisy flat onto her face, gumshield flew out as Daisy was clean knocked out, giving Alice her first ever championship in her career.
The biggest journey of the year has been Alice's, she fought several top contenders in the tournament, now becoming the champion is the cherry on top of maybe the best comeback in BBU history.
Daisy on the other hand is finally beaten, she has nothing to be ashamed about, she looked great in periods of this fight, nearly winning it herself with that knockdown, at only mid twenties she has plenty of time to make herself a legend, she has the potential for it, so expect more titles for her.

Part 3: Katie Price vs Rhian Sugden (JMD) Two top contenders for the BBU JMD title battled it out on the PPV, Katie Price while having mixed form is fair to say, with her record she is also in the hunt for the diamond encrusted bra.
But the person with all the momentum with three straight wins coming into this fight was Rhian, though Katie was a possible banana skin to getting a title shot, months of hard work was on the line here for the page three stunner.
Neither woman exactly showed any respect to the other in the build up, putting each others record and legacy's down in both their modelling and boxing careers, giving this a real grudge fight.
At the bell though it seemed like Rhian was going to bulldoze Katie, she was beating the erratic Price to the punch, punishing her along the ropes.
That was the first two rounds, Katie having only a little success before she got beaten back, Rhian nicely switching between boobs and body to make it hard for the veteran.
Finally there was some life from Katie in the third, she boxed more smartly and actually seemed to rattle Sugden back, could there be a little upset on the cards?
Well a clash of heads in the fourth certainly added drama, Katie has told us at our offices that Rhian head-butted her on purpose, causing her nose to bleed in a rare sight for JMD fights.
That was the moment that the fight back ended for Katie, she got beaten back by Rhian, till in the fifth Price went down for the count to give Sugden her fourth straight win.
What happened after I won't describe, just say that it has to be seen to be believed, Katie certainly will not be forgiving the Page Three stable anytime soon.
More importantly regarding Katie; she simply couldn't do much with Rhian, she did look like she was getting a foothold in round four, she couldn't stop getting hit cleanly though which as anyone knows is a big part of boxing.
While we got some major news, the BBU JMD champion Charlotte Church made her presence knowing on her social media to tell Rhian she would get the next title shot, we of course say rightly so to that, it should be a top fight between those two.

Final Part: Rose Byrne vs Katie McGrath Due to some issues what was originally a fight between Katie McGrath and Lea Seydoux became one between two stablemates, Rose accepted the fight on short notice to settle seemingly a score within the Foxfire Atlantic Boxing stable.
The fact these two are top contenders for the bantamweight title says a lot about maybe why there was tension here, Katie we hear had made a comment about Rose maybe moving to the cougar division, maybe some jealously on Katie's part since Rose finished second in the latest Contender Six tournament.
These two looked keen to battle, at the bell they came out their corners hard, exchanging stiff jabs and straights into the others stunning face, maybe Rose knows Katie doesn't like being hit to her breasts or she just wanted to hurt her badly from top to bottom, it gave her the momentum to win round one.
Katie gave Rose a taste of her own medicine right away, knocking back the Aussie to her heels as the crowd was loving this brutal action, Rose's face when her tits were being smacked around was one of pure horror.
The next two rounds were even more hotly contested, each having success on the inside where the fighting seemed to be mainly being waged, neither wanting to give up an inch to the other.
In round five Katie suffered a nasty cut on her forehead, Rose knocked her back with punches aimed at the face of McGrath, making it look like the former champion could be on her way out.
But a round later Katie caught Rose with some delicious hooks, more body work bent down Rose into an uppercut, that sent Rose face down to the canvas knocked spark out.
This was one of the highlights of a top to bottom great card, maybe for pure brutality this was fight of the night, neither woman wanted to give a quarter to their rival, it'll be interesting to see if this has truly settled this rivalry once and for all.
Rose shouldn't be too disheartened by the loss, coming off a tough tournament and only fighting the week before may have had a factor in this defeat, she has been one of the big stories in the BBU with her return to the ring after helping coach the other fighters in the stable.
Katie will also be building momentum to maybe another title shot, she has a hot hand right now and since losing the title at the end of last year, she has looked in great form.
That's all we have time for folks, thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read these posts, we hope you have enjoyed them and we will see you back next Sunday morning for the next edition of the Real View.
