Final Part: a fight to remember - BBU flyweight title: Jenna Louise Coleman vs Mikie HaraWhen we look back on key moments in BBU history, this is a fight that sorely gets under looked now but at the time was a massive fight, two of the most feared fighters at that time finally lacing up their gloves, getting into the ring and the world finding out which one was the better fighter, deserving to lead the division into the next era of the BBU.
Now if you want to read the fight before you hear our review of what happened and our thoughts on why this was such an important bout, here is a link below:

Mikie would go on to defeat great fighters like Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato and Ashley Mulheron to continue her undefeated run, going into this fight with Jenna on an unbeaten twelve fight streak since her debut.
On the other side of the coin was Jenna, she had started her career off more mixed, actually losing her debut to Adele Silva by a referee stoppage in round ten of a war, some arguing her early run was like a gauntlet of fire, no many easy fights to get her going.
But by the time this fight came she was on a nine fight winning run, even defeating Mikie's stablemates Rika Ishikawa and Haruna Yabuki, the rumour being Hamada (the Front Street Japan manager) wanted to put as many road blocks between her champion and Jenna meeting to finally settle the burning question so many BBU fans had.
While you may or may not believe in destiny, it did seem like these two were going to meet one way or another, privately Mikie was supposed to not be happy by a lack of confidence she felt from her management team going into the fight, seeing the two fighters come nose to nose it was almost like they were made to fight each other.
At the opening bell Mikie charged out her corner, maybe more determined then she had ever been in her career, the fearsome Japanese's buzzsaw beat Jenna, so imagine her surprise when Jenna fought back just as hard!
What followed was a war of attrition, Mikie looked to get the upper hand before Jenna would come firing back, the champion looking more befuddled as the rounds went by as she didn't seem to know where was the best place to tackle Jenna.
By the seventh round though with Mikie on top of the scorecards, it seemed like the champion was going to continue on her way, even busting the lips of Coleman into a bloody mess to make things look more gruesome by the second.
What followed though was history making, throughout the fight Jenna had plugged away at the body of Hara, it finally paid off as she landed one hell of a sweet liver shot, more followed with Jenna even spitting blood onto the face of Mikie to show her disrespect to the champion, who soon couldn't take the heat, going down to all fours before being counted out!
The arena went wild as Jenna would get the title and the respect of every fighter in the flyweight division, who watched the big bad wolf be cut down to size in front of their eyes, Mikie having to be helped out the ring by her coach as she would look truly defeated.
You could argue it was luck that Jenna was able to shock the world after seemingly being the one to be getting broken down, you could argue it was their backgrounds, with Mikie having an easy time compared to Jenna in their careers that led to this defeat, plenty of theories have been discussed for what happened that night on 2nd March 2015.
What isn't under doubt is how things were play out afterwards, Mikie has never found that same level again, whether she is a shell of herself or simply the fear factor is gone, she has never been back at that world title level since.
Meanwhile Jenna would win the most fights in a row in the BBU, twenty fights she was undefeated by the time Cheryl Cole would claw the title off her in a legendary fight itself, that will be a story for us to discuss another day.
With Mikie starting to show some of her prior form, could these two ever meet again? Never say never as they say, plenty of stories still around them if they ever decide on a second chapter.
For us though this is all we have time for, thank you to everyone who took the time to read these posts, we hope you enjoyed them, we will be back next Sunday morning.
