Tale of the Tape:
Emily Atack:
Age: 30
Height: 5'3
12-9 (11KOs)
Former BBU flyweight champion
Vs
Jorgie Porter:
Age: 32
Height: 5'2
18-11 (17KOs)
This week we focus on two bubbly blondes for our poll, Emily and Jorgie have faced off once before back in 2012, Jorgie won that closely fought affair by unanimous decision, though of course in eight years things change, who would win now?
Let's start with the former Inbetweeners star, now she hosts shows like the I'm a celebrity get me out of here extra show, Emily Atack has certainly become more then just a lobe interest on a TV show.
In the ring it shows with her record, becoming the BBU flyweight champion back on November 30th 2012 when she was just 22 against Virginie Ledoyen, who would have a great rivalry with a young Emma Watson.
Former opponents of Emily's include the tough as nails Mikie Hara, Lily Collins and Jenna Louise Coleman, going long into fights with them as you can never doubt her stamina, even against some of the best around.
Her boxing style is all about technique, she has a beautiful jab to go along with great movement, allowing her to set up shots from different angles to land with almost sniper like efficient when at her best.
Her biggest weakness though has proven to be when she gets crowded by an opponent, she hasn't a bad inside game, it isn't one of the best in the division though, while she has grown to be a stronger fighter, it has shown still to not be her strongest suit.
Now to the opposite corner and stunning Jorgie, who is a Hollyoaks legend with her role as a McQueen, capturing the hearts of many men with her cheeky personality.
Her boxing career has been an interesting one, ironically falling short of her own title shot against Tiffany Mulheron after she had beaten Emily, knocked out in the fifth round as she has become known as a bit of a bridesmaid of the division, full of potential but can't reach the heights of being a champion.
Her past opponent's include the likes of Chloe Moretz and Lucy Hale from America, while fighting the likes of Ola Jordan and Maisie Williams back in the UK, she has ventured to both the FCBA and of course our BBU to box.
Her style consists of starting with skirmish like assaults early on, finding her range with great flexibility and a stinging jab, once she is comfortable she gets inside to wear down opponent's.
The weakness though comes from two folds, she isn't the strongest fighter in the division, coupled with if you can keep her herded towards the ropes with not much room to work, it nullifies her strategy.
That's the two fighters, to vote go to the bottom of the post where you'll find a link to click, first here are pictures of the fighters to hopefully help you with your decision.
