Part 1: BBU flyweight title fight The main event of the Lioness Club 10th anniversary event saw Zara Holland and Ewelina Lisowska shared a ring for the third time for the BBU flyweight title, Ewelina lost their first clash for the belt before coming back a month later to take the belt from Zara, months later here they were wanting to settle the grudge.
What also added to the intrigue of the match was that Ewelina had seemingly already planned for her next defence, Ivana Baquero was ringside and Zara understandably was miffed at the slight, leading to more tension as they stepped into the ring, eyeing each other up with real hatred.
When the action kicked off Zara was clearly hyped up, she took the fight to Ewelina bullying her back around the ring in the opener, Ewelina fired back in round two as the crowd was electric, both women going hammer and tongs on each other as that venom they felt for their rival was on full show.
Both women went in hard for the next two rounds, they couldn't be separated till the fifth when the first major incident happened, Zara caught out Ewelina with a stray elbow into her chest, then landed a left hook that sent the champion down to the canvas for a count of eight, Ewelina got up and had to dust herself off.
Zara pushed the pace to try to knock out Ewelina, while she was having success, she wasn't finding the killer blow though to win the title, with Ewelina coming back into it with a well drilled body assault, then in the eighth the wheels fell off Holland's charge, with a hard hook busting her nose, she would be put down two times, with the second time being enough to get the count and end this feud for now with Ewelina coming out on top two out of the three times they fought.
Again Zara looked great but for whatever reason just can't find that shot to end things against Ewelina, she is firmly an elite flyweight in the BBU, who is certainly still young enough to claim enough flyweight title in her future, I wouldn't want to be her next opponent though as she will be coming for them both barrels
While we now know that Ivana Baquero will have her title shot, after a tense face off with Ewelina in the ring, photos showing them sharing a drink afterwards will probably be the last friendly moment between them, Ivana will come out firing but does she have enough to conquer the seemingly unconquerable champion?

Part 2: Cheryl Cole vs Cher Lloyd We spoke to Cheryl on last weeks Real View and were happy she didn't spoil this surprise, Cheryl and Cher for those who may not remember were mentor and student respectively on the X-Factor many moons ago, over that time it was well known that both women grew to hate the others guts, with Cheryl calling Cher amongst other things a spoiled brat, Cher claimed Cheryl was jealous of her and tried to sabotage her career before it could really kick off, the irony is while Cheryl has an arguably legendary career in the UK compared to Cher, the student did something she couldn't in breaking in to America, which adds to the tension.
In the ring as you'd expect it was fireworks from the bell, Cher took the fight straight away to Cheryl, battering her back to the outside as the former champion swung back with gusto, if not with much success as the younger fighter was amped up to fight.
Things didn't get much better for Cheryl in the second round as Cher simply was on the front foot from the better, though that rush them tactic of Lloyd started to back fire in the third as her body took a pasting off of the veteran, who stuck in more when she was on top of things.
The bell of Cher got rung in the fifth, Cheryl was like an assassin as she landed pin point strikes, ending up sending Cher down to the canvas with a body shot that really took the wind out of Cher's sails, while Cher got up to fight some more, it wasn't long till Cheryl blasted the daylights out of her rival in the sixth round to score the victory.
This was a great competitive fight between two legitimate rivals, I can tell you talking to both that this feud isn't for the cameras, hopefully it isn't the last they see of each other in a ring as I don't think the ill feelings between them is gone yet, maybe their coaches should be relieved they both agreed to wearing gloves as it would be brutal if they hadn't.

Part 3: Dorota "Doda" Rabczewska vs Vicky Pattison With the BBU bantamweight title in the Lioness Clubs hands with Charlotte Church holding the gold, Vicky Pattison had the added motivation of trying to prove directly to the stable that she deserves the title shot by beating Doda on the stables own anniversary card.
There was real animosity in the air between them, Doda making it clear she wanted to shut up Vicky, while Vicky wanted to smash aside Doda to get the title shot, as they say if looks could kill there would have been two bodies laid out in the ring, they paced in their corners like two caged animals ready to be released to fight.
Sprinting out their corners to engage, the crowd was roaring as after the opening slugging exchanges. Doda would get on top of the situation with several good clean shots to rock back Vicky, the Geordie wasn't giving up easy but Doda was rocking her over the opening two rounds.
Things didn't get easier for the referee as Vicky started to target the boobs of her opponent, Doda ended up getting Vicky in a Thai clinch and the fight was nearly thrown out as knees were exchanged till coaches and the referee could calm things down enough, I expected the gloves to fly off and it to descend to a no holds barred fight the way both wanted a piece of each other.
As the fight progressed Vicky started to catch out the former champion, Doda ate a clean shot to the stomach before a right hook to the temple sent her down to her side, Doda beat the count looking down right furious, Vicky taunted her to bring it as only way tempers were going was boiling point again.
In the end while Doda gave a damn good account of herself, Vicky caught her flush again in the sixth to batter down Doda, who made it up but the referee judged by her spitting out her gumshield and not coming to them when ordered that she was done, Vicky has proven she belongs in the title race after this win.
Though I don't think Doda and Vicky are finished with each other, whether true or not (you know how rumours can be thrown around) after a few drinks in the bar the two not known to be shy for a catfight got into it again after a few choice words, slaps, hair pulling before after being allowed to let off steam, they were pulled apart with each others hair in between their fingers and a few more insults, hell if they don't fight again in the ring I am sure the apartment wrestling circuit will pay top dollar to set these two on each other with not many rules.

Final Part: Rest of the Undercard While we would love to do an full review of the rest of the fights on the card, we only have this last slot to talk about the fights, so we suggest you go read them if you are really interested in what happened, here we go with the undercard.
The event kicked off with two cougars going at it, Geri Halliwell returned to the ring to take on Fiona Wade, Fiona simply bulldozed through a ring rusty Geri in the opening few rounds, the fourth saw the former "Spice Girl" make some headway, before brutally being put down and stopped in the fifth, Fiona with an important win after a terrible run of things, while Geri has to wonder what her future is in the ring.
Then Rhiannon Fish wanted to remind her stable she could be a top flyweight, Lucy Fallon was her opponent and a good back and forth took place, unfortunately for Lucy a bad cut over her left eye with swelling caused the referee to dive in to end the fight to save Lucy, a great win for Fish and Lucy we hear has an open contract to fight another Lioness girl as they seemed to recognise that it was bad luck for Lucy that caused a great fight to end prematurely.
One of the most interesting stories of the night came in the Nicola Roberts vs Lottie Moss fight, first the fight itself saw Nicola as ever look her classy self to start, one of the best technical boxers to watch in all the BBU, the lack of one punch power though gave Lottie the chance to take the fight back to her in the second half of the fight, which ended in the sixth with a brutal left hook sending Nicola down for the count, we then learned that Lottie had been signed to the Lioness Club stable, so Nicola can try to get revenge when they spar now.
It also put more eyes on the Jessica Schwarz versus Vera Brezhneva fight, was this going to be the end of hall of famer Jessica's career? Well for her fans the good news is that she is aiming to get to fifty fights, bad news is she is looking her age as Vera simply smashed aside Jessica in just three rounds, Jessica tried to make it a fight but couldn't withstand the raw power bashing into her face.
We then had Karolina Kurkova and Anne Vyalitsina battling it out, Anne wanting a third big win in a row to prove her title aspirations are concrete, those hopes were squashed big time by Karolina, with Anne looking great out the gates, several body shots opened up the Russian to some brutal hooks that paralyzed Anne, till in the fifth a right hook on the ear sent her down for the count, at least they seemed "friendly" enough to keep the afters to arm wrestling at the bar.
Last but certainly not least we saw two stunning models in Yasmin Verheijen and Bianca Balti clash, both seeing themselves as future lightweight title challengers, best way to sort out the path to the title is by knocking out rivals on the way, it was Yasmin who earned another step forwards with a brutal knockout of Bianca, it was far from easy for her with the Italian beauty starting so strong, several crunching body shots opened the door for Yasmin, who brutally battered down Bianca with hooks to end the fight.
That's all we have time for folks, we hope you enjoyed the posts, thank you for taking the time to read them, also a massive thank you to Vassago for such an awesome card, we congratulate you on being in the BBU for ten years, we'll be back next Sunday morning for the next edition of the Real View.
