Sydney Craven 8-1 8 KO'S Charley Webb 1-8 1 KO
A brunette battle in London's O2 this evening, as Sydney Craven and Charley Webb lock horns in a flyweight clash.
The eagerly awaited return of the Mauler's hottest flyweight prospect, Sydney had been bulldozing her way through the division in barnstorming style, before she run into Emilia Clarke, now after a long hiatus she was back, and very much at the forefront of the reformed stable, which now had the label lean and mean.
Her opponent the veteran Emmerdale actress Charley Webb hoping to improve her dire record against Mauler's fighters, her sole success having came way back in 2013 by TKO over Zaraah Abrahams, but her last 2 outings versus Maulers had resulted in 4th round defeats.
Charley first to ringwalk she appeared to a chorus of boos by the mainly Sydney supporting crowd, and she kept her gaze firmly on the ring well she endured the catcalls.
Typical all black outfit for Charley, black vest top, tight black shorts with white trim, and black gloves, brunette locks tied in a tight ponytail.
Gail Kim psyching her charge up for this tough challenge.
Finally in the ring she bounced up and down in her corner well the expectant audience awaited the main attraction.
Sydney striding out to a hero's welcome, and she lapped it up, waving to her admiring throng as they saluted her with a rousing ovation.
Sydney attired in a red sports bra, gold coloured gloves, red trunks with gold trim, Brunette tresses in a tight bun.
Kara Tointon keeping Sydney focussed on the task in hand. Tonight should be a cakewalk for Syd, but Kara knew never to take anything for granted in the BBU.
The referee motioning both girls to the centre of the ring and we're off.
10 rounds of flyweight action
Round 1
Surprisingly Charley the early aggressor as she worked well behind her jab, catching Sydney several times, midway through the round Sydney finally awoke and hammered a couple of sweet left hooks into Charley's face, already the Emmerdale star's right eye puffing up, as she concentrated on covering up for the last minute of the opening round.
Round 2
Sydney finding her range better now as she picked off Charley from a distance, before moving inside and digging into Charley's ribcage, the older girl visibly winded by this attack, and she tried to retreat, but Sydney having none of it as she stalked her prey eagerly, left hook, right hook, right jab, left jab, leaving Charley floundering, as the older girl tried to gasp for air, Sydney showing no mercy with a terrific gut shot, AND WEBB SINKS TO HER KNEES GRASPING HER ACHING STOMACH.
She bravely attempts to regain her feet, much to Sydney's amusement, but finally succumbs to her pain, and curls up into a sobbing wreck writhing in agony as she clutches her midriff.
Sydney milking the applause from her admiring fans before turning her attention to the prone Charley.
"Walkies" chirped Sydney as she hauled a retching Charley to her knees, before proudly parading her around the ring, a few stray empty beer cans hauled in Charley's direction, indeed one of them smacking her on the bridge of her nose, eliciting a yelp from the embattled soap star.
Kara Tointon's icy stare warning Gail Kim about interfering, not that she showed any intention to get involved anyway.
"Oops! sorry about that my fans tend to get carried away sometimes" but the smirk from Sydney's lips belied her apology.
Finally Sydney bored of her taunting, however if Charley hoped her torment was over she was in for a rude awakening, as the jubilant Sydney slipped her boots off and presented her smelly soles to a disgusted Charley.
"KISS THEM" demanded a beaming Sydney, "NOW" she snapped as Charley hesitated.
Not wishing to incur Sydney's wrath even further Charley quickly dropped her quivering lips and did as ordered.
"All right that's enough" instructed Sydney.
"Now on your back bitch"
Charley didn't need to be told twice, and laid herself supine before her tormentor had barely finished the sentence.
Sydney posing in a variety of victory poses, as the crowd erupted en masse.
Sydney then met Charley's teary brown eyes with a steely gaze.
"OK! kid let me give you some sage advice, hang the gloves up before someone really hurts you, you simply aren't cut out for this game.
And with that she turned on her heel and left a misty eyed Charley for Gail to attend to.
Yet again Sydney displaying her ruthless streak, however she'll certainly face much sterner tests than this going forwards.
As for Charley who knows what the future holds for her.

Post fight interview
Charley Webster on the scene as a laughing Sydney approached.
"Wow! Syd that was quite a display tonight"
Sydney's blue eyes sparkled "Well you've got to give the public a show haven't you" she quipped"
"Indeed" Charley smiled " and that was interesting words you shared with Ms Webb"
"Well!" intoned Sydney "I'm here to win belts not maim people, and the kid has a pretty face, and a good acting career, so she should concentrate on that".
And now she stared straight into the camera "Ivana make sure you enjoy the belt well you can, cos it'll be mine soon.
