Part 1: India Reynolds vs Imogen Thomas We kicked off this weeks action with the return from a two year break of India Reynolds to the ring, after her tie with the BBU JMD champion Catalina Otalvaro in a golden gloves poll, she has suddenly become a name of interest for pundits and fans, so she decided to get back into the ring to knock off some ring rust and show that she deserves the attention.
Her opponent was the former BBU bantamweight champion Imogen Thomas, who over the years has found it hard to get a win, so it was understandable she saw this as her chance to grab the spotlight for herself, get back on the road for a title shot after not having shot in over six years, that was being part of a tournament to become the first JMD champion.
Stepping in the ring together, Imogen looked fired up as she took the fight to her opponent, working on the inside as she used little nudges to keep India off balance, India maybe wasn't focused or maybe it was the ring rust, Imogen pinning her onto the ropes several times.
But as the fight went in India changed up her tactics, timing Imogen coming at her with counter shots, she looked quicker then Imogen, who has lost a step it seems as they boxed, Imogen scoring a few good punches, getting beaten to the punch more often then not.
By the fifth round Imogen was getting beaten, uppercuts slammed through the Welsh lasses jugs till she went down to her knees, couldn't beat the pain she was in to get up, maybe regretting not trying as India was more then ready to humiliate her, which you can go see without me describing it.
This was a solid win for India, while she started badly she came back strong, the champion got a good view from the front row seat, it might be a little early for India to have a shot at Catalina but clearly this has motivated her, time will tell if we get them fighting in the ring.

Part 2: Katie Price vs Jennifer Ellison The last PPV over a week ago conjured up a sight I think most people in the BBU thought they would see again, Jennifer Ellison made her presence known after years away from our ring, in fact her last fight was a year ago as she lost to Charlize Theron in the FCBA, now one of the most controversial fighters in BBU history has set her sights on Maisie Smith for a fight, first she wanted to show she is the real deal by beating Katie Price.
Who we won't get into her personal life as any newspaper or gossip site will give you enough information on that, she does seem to be taking any challenge coming her way, even as she is now forty four, it's shall we say been a rough year for her, this did seem a fight she wanted as they made it known they were exactly a fan of the other, which considering both are very similar personality wise, maybe that is why they dislike each other.
In the ring Katie looked to press the early action, Jennifer was happy to meet her as they fought, it was like a street fight as both clashed heads, Katie using a few JMD tactics to throw off Jennifer but Jennifer kept in swinging to back off Price.
Blood was soon flowing from Katie's nose as Jennifer caught her flush with a right, more punches come in as Jennifer showed her power, Katie was struggling to take the punches, getting knocked around by Ellison till in the third round was able to knock her out with a nasty right hook on the button.
All of Jennifer's hard work in the gym over the past two years was on show here, fighting Maisie could be a bit too much for her if they battle, though Jennifer has enough tricks up her sleeves that Maisie shouldn't take her lightly.
Katie meanwhile has lost a step and can't take a punch as well as she used to it seems, it probably would have been smarter to pick a fight with Jennifer when both were in their primes, it'll be interesting to see who Katie has next as I don't assume she'll be out the ring overly long.

Part 3: Clara Alonso vs Jodie Comer Both Clara Alonso and Jodie Comer are at cross roads in their careers, Clara started her career well but several bad results led her to losing her place in the Sirens stable, Jodie meanwhile was undefeated in three fights going into this one, her issue was that she hasn't been in the ring often considering she is a two year veteran now, three fights in that time isn't exactly dedication, especially that Clara is her toughest opponent.
The opening two rounds certainly didn't go Jodie's way, Clara was on the front foot from the off, showing her fighting spirit to take a few good hits to get to the inside, where she was keeping the Liverpool born fighter on the back foot, Jodie struggled to gain traction on the inside against her opponent.
Slowly though Jodie started to time Clara's attacks better, countering with punches square into her face, keeping herself away from the ropes, Clara didn't want to be deterred but she had to back off in the fourth when she started eating combinations from the growing in confidence Comer.
The fifth round saw the end come, a hard right hook to the temple of Alonso buzzed her, while she tried to stay standing, Jodie landed another hard right that put Clara down to the canvas, while she looked like she wanted to get up, she didn't have the sense of where she was to push herself back up, giving Jodie win number four.
A look over social media showed a mixed response to Jodie's performance, the one that stood out the most though was a direct challenge from German singer and veteran of the ring Indira Weis, Jodie hasn't officially replied yet, the news is that it's a fight she'd like since Indira was so public with her call out.
Clara can't be forgotten either, it might be a confidence issue or maybe tactics, she has always looked a solid fighter, she just is making mistakes that are costing her wins, she had chances to put herself back on the map with a win against Comer, instead she was looking at the lights once more.

Final Part: Mathilde Tantot vs AJ Odudu We look at the debut of TV presenter AJ Odudu, who fought the winless Mathilde Tantot on Wednesday in Liverpool, the Blackburn native was hoping to get her career off with a statement win, Mathilde looked fired up as she spoke before the fight.
If you don't know AJ, she has been on multiple shows presenting, was a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing that only ended when she got injured, she will be presenting the revamped Big Breakfast show that kick started the careers of Denise Van Outen and Kelly Brook on TV, she also works out hard judging by her social media accounts.
Getting into the ring together, they started off with Mathilde looking to keep on the move, AJ showed some nerves in the opening round, swinging too wildly at times and getting a first hand experience of what a glove smacking you full force to the face feels like.
After that slow opening round Odudu settled down behind her jab, smacking Tantot through her mitts right into her face, the French beauty was being bullied apart, she didn't have the muscle of AJ and it showed in clinches as she was pressed against the ropes, leading into the third round when a hook too many sent Mathilde down for the count.
It should be noted that Mathilde has lost in the first round, so this win certainly doesn't make AJ a title contender over night, it does show she has raw power to use, at thirty four she can't exactly sit around on her hands, it'll be interesting to see if AJ becomes a focused boxer on her career or sees this as a hobby with all her TV jobs, the physical talent is there so if she has a good coach and is serious about this, then it will be fun to find out how far she can go.
That's all we have time for folks, thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read these posts, we hope you enjoyed them, we will be back next Sunday morning for the next edition of the Real View.
